Tilly Comes: A New Chibi Sailor! Chapter One: Tilly Comes Yaten took Tanya's hand, and looked into her eyes. "Something troubles you, what is it?" Tanya looked up at Yaten and smiled softly. "I have visions of something I am unknown of. A person is coming into our life..." "If it seperates us, I will be sure to it that it stays far away from us." Tanya nodded, and gave him one last peck on the cheek before going inside. *** Usagi took a sip of tea. "So..what kinda visions?" she asked. Rei looked up from her book, seemingly interested. "Well," Tanya started, "I have dreams that we'll be welcoming a new member of some sort. Someone around Chibi-usa's age." Haruka smirked. "Bull. I think you're getting Rei syndrome." "Shut up, you," said Rei, glaring up at Haruka, who was sitting on a couch arm. "And get off of that couch arm, you know how Grandpa hates that!" Haruka shrugged and moved to a mat on the floor. "I am really wondering," said Setsuna, chewing on a cracker, "what if these dreams ans senses are for real? Tanya here could really be of some good help to us. We'd best keep on the lookout." "Not you too!" shouted Haruka, staring over in Setsuna's direction in disbelief. Everyone laughed, but Haruka just continued to glare at everyone. "You're just saying that because you don't believe in myths or all that kind of stuff," Rei said to Haruka. Yet another evil stare came Rei's way. Tanys looked at her watch. "Ouch, I gotta go. I promised Dad I'd be home early to help clean house. I'll call you guys later." Tanya grabbed her purse and left. *** Tanya opened the door of her house only to find her house a wreck. "What the..." she whispered, looking around. There were porceline vaces everywhere, and overturned boxes. Luckily the breakable things hadn't broke. "DAD!!" shouted Tanya, peering into the guestroom. She spotted her dad packing up a bunch of things from the guestroom. "Oh, hi, hon. I was just getting ready for her arrival." Tanys eyed her dad. "Who's...arrival?" "Why, your cousin, Tilly!" Mr. Cambridge laughed. "Don't you remember her? She's living with us for a few months...years... who knows?" Great, thought Tanya, now I've got some sort of mystery cousin. Wait a sec, could this be like...Chibi-usa was? "Oh yeah," faked Tanya. "I remember her. Heh heh, I'll help get some of this old junk out of here." Confused all the way, Tanya just kept puzzling over this until midnight, when she fell asleep. *** "You gotta problem," Minako said the next day at lunch, after Tanya had explained to her about "Tilly." "Yeah, so I've noticed," replied Tanya, eaking a mouthful of homemade curry. "I think I've got an Usagi-Chibi-usa problem. If she gets here, I'll try and keep her away from all our secrets, and all that stuff. Ya know, to prevent her from ending up like Chibi-usa." "Hey," said Minako, "you know, we could use her, if you think about it. Everyone always needs a new part of their team. Ya know? Sailor Chibi-Sirius! Tilly Cambridge saves the day!" Tanya pondered a moment, then shrugged. "Give me a few days. I'll let you know when she gets here." The bell rang, and Minako and Tanya went inside. *** Tanya opened the doors to her house once again, but this time to find the house in perfect order. Tanya turned the corner, and entered the guest room. There, she found a little girl about Chibi-usa's age, stuffing clothes in the newly painted white dresser. The bed that was originally on the far right wall was now next to the window. There were glow in the dark moons, stars, and planets on the ceiling, and unicorn posters plastering the walls. The whole room itself had turned from an old folks' home to a little girl's dream. The girl turned around and looked at Tanya. Her flipped hair bobbed on her shoulders. She gave Tanya a cute smile. "Hi, Cousin Tanya!! Remember me? It's Tilly! I haven't seen you in ages!" Tanys pretended to know her. "Hey there, Squirt! Gimme a hug!" Tilly ran up to Tanya and gave her a bear hug. "Let's play Candy Land!" "Well," said Tanya, "I have some school work to do, so can we play it later?" "Can I help you with your homework?" "If you know tenth grade math." "Oh sure!" Great, thought Tanya, now I have a fake hyper-active genius for a cousin. Despite your cute looks Tilly, I know there's something evil lurking in there... Tanya smiled anyway. "Great! Let's go." Tilly followed Tanya into her room, bounding on slippered feet. Tanya pulled out her two-page math homework, halfway done. Tilly pointed to the one she was working on. "I know that one," she said. "x + 53 = 129?" asked Tanya, "Gee, it's kinda hard for a 3rd grader. What do you think?" "Well," started Tilly, "ya gotta know what x equals, right? So, ya switch the 129 and 53, and replace the equals with a minus sign. So, 129 minus fifty three is seventy-six. X equals 76." Impressed, Tanya's mouth dropped open. "Wow. That's supposed to be an easy on for me, and a hard one for you!! You're amazing!" Tilly smiled and stuck her tongue out. "Thanky!" Later that night, after Tanya tucked in Tilly, Tanya picked up the phone and called Minako. "Minako, you'll never guess who's here and what happened!" ***
