(I'm not sure where to rate it) He walked through the massive silver gates of the courtyard of the Moon Palace, an aged man in a robe as blue as the midnight sky. As the gates smoothly opened, he hand dropped to the pouch he had hidden within his cloak, the reason he was there. "Lady Pluto," he began as he approached the tall lady him, " I hope that all is well with you." "Lord Sorcerimus." She said as she acknowledged his greeting. "They are all present, as you requested, and await you in the Library." She gracefully bow and led him into the palace hall. Along the walls of the immense structure were numerous pictures of all the families that made up the Imperial Court, each framed within its planet's representative color. Sorcerimus had been here many times before, and each time that he saw those pictures, he would look at the young Lady Pluto and his expression would fade into sadness. She had been chosen to be the Keeper of Time, which meant that she had to give up her rightful place on the throne of Pluto. He turned his attention to the young woman with lengthy green hair who stopped in front of a pair of intricately diesigned doors. She had long forgotten her home and now wore the uniform of a soldier of the Moon Kingdom. Lady Pluto pushed open the majestic doors and stepped aside for the visitor to enter. Before him, seated in a semi-circle, were the head females of the eight planets that made up the Imperial Court. They were dressed in white gowns as he had asked, but being women, they had added black lace in order to stand out from each other. "Sorcerimus, dear friend. I am glad that you have honored my humble home with your presence. Tell me, what news have you brought that was so urgent?" Queen Serenity inquired. Her silver hair was combed into its usual hair style and she had removed her wings, allowing her to be more comfortable with her present company. Sorcerimus once again touched the small pouch before stepping into the center of the gathering. "Your Imperial Majesties, I have called you together for I bring grave news of my land. The Isle of San Tao, and all who resided within, has been destroyed." The circle of young queens closed their eyes as they remembered the stories Sorcerimus had told them about his homeland. They had each longed to visit his beautiful birthplace, but the chance never arose ... and it never will. Sorcerimus dipped into the folds of his cloak and pulled out the pouch he had been constantly checking. "During her last minutes on earth, Queen Layorana suggested something to me, something that I would have never thought of. Her Elite Army had fought bravely against the enemy and she wished that they be compensated for the life they had lost." Sorcerimus opened the pouch he held and out of it floated eight golden seeds. They hung in the air dancing and spinning as the ethereal glow of the room illuminated them. "She asked that I encase each of the brave heroines soul into a tiny seed so that, when the time comes, they will be able to be called forth again. She asked me to make this offering to you as she had received word that none of you had borne any children as yet." The ladies all blushed as he scanned the small crowd, hoping that no one would inform him otherwise. He turned his eyes to the young woman who had escorted him to the room and called her to his side. "Lady Pluto, I ask that you keep a record of what is about to transpire. Let each tale that is about to be told be locked away forever in your great archives so that none shall mourn the defeat of San Tao, but will rejoice in the protectors they have gained." Lady Pluto bowed and returned to her corner, summoning to her side a small girl with hair of the brightest orange, and eyes a shade of the deepest brown. She pulled a desk in front of her and began to feverishly take down all that had already happened. "Each of these warriors has a story to tell, and I have made it so that you shall be able to hear their tale. Before I continue, I ask that you take heed to what they are saying, for it is you who decide their fate. These seeds are the final offering from her Majesty, Queen Layorana." The ladies nodded their head in understanding as Sorcerimus eyed the young girl at Lady Pluto's side, awaiting a sign from her to continue. The young lady raised her eyebrow at the eight seeds floating in the air and looked disappointedly at the short stack of papers before her. She dipped into her backpack and produced four times the amount of papers, stacking them neatly next to her. She nodded in satisfaction at the sight before her and then picked up her pen in preparation for her duty. Sorcerimus waved his hand and stepped back as a seed lowered to the floor. It stopped a few inches above the ground before opening in a flower-like fashion. A soft white light illuminated the semi-transparent figure clothed in gold armor that arose from within. The image flickered as she began to speak in a soft, almost inaudible voice. "Ladies of the Moon Kingdom, I am Princess Layna, the Protector of San Tao. My spiritual form has traveled to many different planes and I'm afraid that I have not the strength to perform the task set before me. I have asked Sorcerimus to tell my tale as he has been at my side all along and he has gratefully agreed to do so." She bowed to the crowd of royalty before retreating into her seed which remained open as it rose to eye level. Sorcerimus stepped forward to begin his story of the commander and leader of the courageous Warriors of San Tao.
