Lita: AHHHH-CHOOOO! Ken: Bleshoo. Lita: Thanks. Ken: It's getting cold. Wanna get off? Lita: Okay. The two got off and met the others. Serena had gotten off a few minutes ago, and looked kind of green. Ami, as usual had a book in one hand. Rei and Mina both had giant bags of cotton candy in each arm. Darien looked like he was ready to puke. Serena: I wanna go home. Ami: It's getting pretty late, I still have to study! The others had huge sweat drops on them, Ami always had to study! Rei: Let's go, I'm tired. Ken: You guys go ahead. I'll take Lita home later. Mina said to Lita: You sure? Lita: Yup. Lita watched the others walk out of the park. Ken: So now what do you want to do? Lita: I want to go on everything! A gigantic sweat drop formed on Ken's head. He made a face, then agreed. They rode everything at least three times before it was time to go home. Ken and Lita walked out of the park onto a deserted street. Lita: Let's cut trhough the alley. It's a short cut. Ken: Is it safe? Lita: I guess. They walked into a dark alley. They didn't get very far before something jumped infront of them. Lita and Ken stepped back in surprise. It looked like some sort of tree monster. Treedo: So, all alone. Are we? Ken: Back off! Treedo: Shut up, pretty boy! Lita: Let's go! Lita grabbed Ken's hand as she ran back. She made a wrong turn and they ended up in a dead end. Ken: Freak! Lita: Ooops. My fault! The monster appeared in front of them. It had on an evil smirk. Taunting them to try something. Ken stood protectively infront of Lita, shielding her body with his. Lita cried: Ken, what are you doing? Get back! Now! Ken: No. Treedo: So, no where to run? Too bad! Treedo shot out razor sharp twigs and leaves at the two. Ken pushed Lita back and stepped forward. All the twigs and leaves hit him with a sickening sound. Lita: Ken! No! Ken sank to his knees, looked up at Lita, his eyes pleading. Lita reached down and took his large hand in hers, sobbing. Lita sobbed: Ken, don't do this. Ken looked over her shoulder and saw Treedo ready to attack again. He pulled Lita in back of him, and again, took all the shots. Ken closed his eyes, clenched his teeth, trying not to scream. He gripped Lita's hands. Lita sobbed even harder: Ken! Don't die, please don't go! Lita cried and cried, and Treedo just stood there looking smug. One single tear slid off of Lita's cheeks and dropped onto Ken's hand. It shone brightly in the moonlight. Suddenly, bright beams of light shot out from it. Blinding light filled the night sky, blinding everything. Treedo looked frightened and backed away: No! It's impossible. No! With an earpeircing scream, she vaporized, right there. Lita held tighter to Ken, squinting from the brilliant light. Soon, the glow started to dim. Little by little, the light dimmed, Lita could see more clearly. She still squinted, trying to recognize all that was around her. She grew confused. No longer, were they in an alley. Instead, they were in an open plain, with wild purple flowers everywhere. Far off in the distance Lita could see ruins. Similar to the ruins of the Moonkingdom. Ken moaned: Where are we? Lita: I don't know. She helped Ken get up, supporting him. She let him lean against her. Ken: What's over there? He pointed to the ruins. Lita: Let's go see. Can you walk? Ken: Kind of. Slowly, they made their way to the ruins. When they got there, Ken sat on a fallen pillar. Lita looked around. Under a rock, she saw something that looked like an old treasure chest. With a lot of effort, she heaved the rock, and took out the chest. She opened it easily. Inside the chest was a crystal, the size of a tennis ball. Surprisingly, it shone like new. She took it out, and felt how heavy it was. Ken: What are you doing? Lita walked over to him and held up the crystal for him to see. Ken held out his hand, Lita was about to hand it to him. The moment Ken and Lita's hands both touched the crystal, a feeling of Dejavu came to them. They both remembered... Princess Jupiter was dancing happily with Prince Jupiter. Both were swirling to the smooth music, dancing in perfect coordination with the other. All around them, the people of the Jupiter Kingdom clapped. Yes, they were on the planet Jupiter. Lita was Princess Jupiter, Ken was Prince Jupiter. Princess: This is so fun! Prince: Yup, I hope we can stay together forever. Then, the happiness was broken... Princess Jupiter, had to go help defend the Moon Kingdom with the other Princesses. Prince Jupiter went to Earth to help Prince Darien. The nega- moon already launched an attack there. Soon, Price Darien came back to the moon. Alone. Princess Jupiter: Where's Ken? Prince Darien looked at her with sad eyes: Earth is totally distroyed. I tried to look for him. No one is left. No one. Princess Jupiter: You abandoned him? Why? How could you? She cried, angry at Prince Darien for being so cold. Prince Darien tried to explain: No one survived. He's gone. To a better place. I had to come as soon as possible, Beryl will come here next. I have to help fight here. Please, Jupiter understand! Princess Jupiter: No...he's not gone. He's still there! Please. After many days and nights of fighting, Beryl was going to destroy the Moon Kingdom. Queen Serenity summoned all the children of the Moon Kingdom. Queen: I will have to do something drastic. I know you won't understand. But, I have to send you to the future, all of you. There is no more hope on the Moon. You will all be reborn on Earth, in the distant future. There, you will be happy and live normal lives. If the need comes, you will all remember this past, and will fight for Earth. Princess Moon: No, we will stay to fight! All the others agreed. Queen: Don't argue! It's for the best. I know this sounds like a bad idea, but it will be for the best! After more arguments, most of them finally agreed. The queen sent each one to the futre, in a time capsule. Princess Jupiter was last. Princess Jupiter: I will stay to fight! I don't want to live a normal life. Not without Ken! I can't. Queen: I know how you feel about him. Let me assure you, he will also be reborn into the future. Destiny will bring you two together. Trust me. Princess Jupiter: How about you? Queen looked at her sadly: I will not be there. It is my kingdom, I will die with it. Princess Jupiter wanted to protest, but she was quickly locked into a time capsule. Ready to be sent. Prince Darien, the first to land in the future, was the first to be reborn, then, Ken was reborn, the others followed. No one remembered the past, they lived normal lives, until the Nega-verse came back. ************************************************** PRESENT DAY... Lita looked around: Ken, did you see that? Ken: You mean our past? Yeah. Pretty wierd. They were both holding onto the crystal. It started glowing brightly. Suddenly, everything was covered by a brilliant green light. Lita felt magic wrap around her. Her clothes melted off, and she felt as if she was transfor- ming into Sailor Jupiter, but flowers fluttered around her. She saw the outline of Ken's body, and couldn't see anything else in the blinding light. She felt something like lace wrap around her body, taking the form of a long gown. Ken felt his shirt melt into a dark greenish blue tux. His clothes now turned into a full suit, similar to the one Tuxeedo Mask wore. A long flowing cape blew in the wind. As the light died down, the two looked at each other. Ken stared at Lita, his jaw dropped nearly to the floor. She looked dazzling in that long gown, with a bow billowing in the light. All Lita could do was stare at Ken. He looked so handsome in his suit, not a wrinkle anywhere. Ken: Wow, you look dazzling! Lita: You should look at yourself. You look like a perfect gentleman. Ken looked down sheepishly and blushed: Thank you. Lita: Don't look so embarassed! Ken muttered: Princess Jupiter... Lita: Yes? Prince Jupiter Ken: I'm glad we got our memory back. Lita whispered: Me too. The crystal they were holding divided into two small crystals, almost transparent, except a slight green hue. It floated in the air, a while, then each peice flew into their hearts. Lita and Ken didn't feel anything, they just smiled at the lost memories. Ken embraced Lita, hugging her tightly, when they let go, they were in their normal clothes, back at home, infront of Lita's house. In the Negaverse... Wiseman: You idiot! Why did you send that weak, no good tree to do your dirty work? Pionicite:So sorry, Wiseman. Please, forgive me. I will do everything myself this time. Wiseman: You better! Now that the failure scouts have found a new member! I thought we got rid of him on the moon! That Jupiter Knight is very protective of Lady Jupiter. You better make notice of that. Pionicite bowed down: I will. I am now thinking of a plan to get rid of all of them at the same time... To Be Continued... SailorMoon is Copyrighted by Naoko Takeuchi. Send flames and comments to me at Jupiter101@hotmail.com JUPITER KNIGHT PART II One week after Lita and Ken's memory of the past came back, the scouts were at Rei's temple, discussing their future plans. Rei: So, what now? So far, we found out that there's another general from the Negaverse, but then what? Serena: I say we find them, and elliminate them! Rei bopped Serena on the head: Idiot! How do we find them? That's our problem! Darien came to Serena's defense: Hey, don't talk that way to Serena! She was trying to help! Rei: Shut up Dairen! You never stood up for me when we were together! Ami: If we all just calm down! Reeni: Will you all just be quiet! Serena! Stop fighting with Rei! Mina: Hey, don't leave me out of this! Serena: If we just... Lita just sat crosslegged on the floor, looking at Ken. Ken was staring at the floor. She had to smile at how adorable he looked. Lita: We're pretty annoying, huh? Ken: Not really. Lita: Don't worry, when we get dwon to business, we get busy. Ken looked up just in time to see a pillow smack Lita's head. Lita: What the- All: PILLOWFIGHT! Ken laughed and fell over. Lita: You think that's funny? She threw an over stuffed pillow over to Ken. In the dark taverns of the Negaverse... Pionicite: Haha ha! Mwahahahaha. Pionicite laughed insanely at the plan she cooked up. She danced about the room gaily. Pionicite thought to herself: I should've thought of this sooner I can attack another contry, and that will bring the scouts to an unfamiliar place. That would weaken their defenses enough to kill them! They were still fighting and throwing pillows at Rei's house. Serena: Take this- Darien: Oh yeah? Reeni ran around hitting everyone on the head. And giggling. Lita snuck around with a water gun, shooting anyone who wasn't looking. Every one was wild with fun. Lita backed up close to Ken, in a corner. Ken took this opportunity to tickle her. Ken: Drop the gun! Lita: Haha- No! hahahha! Ken tickled her ribs until Lita dropped the gun. She poked his ribs and tried running away. He was too quick, he caught her hand and pulled her closer into the corner. Lita still had a smile on her lips as he placed his lips on hers. The kiss was interupted by someone whistling. Reeni: Whoo-hoo! Ken and Lita are kissy kissy! Lita quickly drew away, and turned. Ken blushed and looked down at the floor. Everyone was staring at them. Lita: What are you staring at? Mina: You and Ken want to be alone? Mina giggled nervously after she said that. Lita: Hey, you guys never say anything to Serena when she's kissing Darien! There was a long silence after Lita said that. TV: In other news, trouble in America. All the scouts looked at the TV: Strange alien like creatures are attacking Los Angelos. People are either fleeing, or coming in to see this awesome thing. Luna: Looks like it's a job for the Sailor Scouts. Serena: We get to go to California? Alright! I need a tan! Rei: Dimwit! We aren't going there to get a tan! We have to fight! Serena: Oh yeah! I forgot. After a few days of planning, all six scouts, Darien, Ken, Luna and Artemis were on a plane to LA. Luckily, it was summer vacation, and other people thought they were just going on a vacation. Serena was munching greedily on the nuts the airlines often give. Darien: Serena, calm down. You'll get full before dinner comes. Serena: Dinner? When? Mina and Rei were still fighting on who gets the window seat first. Rei: I get it first because I said it. Mina: I get it cause I'm more worthy! Rei: No Mina Yes- Ami was calmly reading a travel guide to Los Angelos. Reeni was coloring the new coloring book the stewdess gave her. Luna and Artemis was locked in a bag, in the overhead compartment, dying to get out soon. Lita sat next to Ken, nervously clutching the armrest. Ken: Are you sure you don't want to sit next to the window? Lita: Yeah. It makes me nervous. Ken: There's nothing to be nervous about! It's just clouds, see? Lita looked out the window and quickly looked away. She could never get over her fear of airplanes since her parent's death. Lita: You're parents didn't get killed by a plane. You have nothing to worry about. Ken softened his intense gaze at Lita. Poor Lita, the one thing she's afraid of was planes. He pryed her hands off the armrest, and took it in his hand. He squeezed her hand: Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you. Lita calmed down enough to walk by herself down the aisle during the trip. Pionicite was waiting for their arrival, in LA. She rented a hotel in the Beverly Hilton hotel. Under the name Pionna Wyldcite. Some of the people in the lobby stared at her, as if she was a movie star. Of course, she had disguised herself as a dashing lady, almost a model. She walked around, flashing smiles at everyone, trying to look ordinary. In her hotel room, were bottles of ingredients to make any kind of terror monster she wanted. Just a little of this amount, and that amount, and a dab of another amount would form the perfect thing to go and terrorize the city. Pionna: Hahahaha. Stupid fools, walking right into my trap! Who do they think they're dealing with? That weakling Beryl? Ha! She flopped onto the feathery soft bed, almost screeching with disgust. Pionna: How do these humans sleep on this? It is so floppy and soft. Yuck, disgusting! I can't wait to make them all slaves of the Negaverse! Then, finally I can go sleep on my rock at home! After 16 hours on the plane, everyone was feeling a little mucky. Serena, ofcourse ate too much of the airline food and had to go in the restroom every hour. Ami was getting a little sick from reading so much. Rei and Mina stopped bickering, and were sleeping soundly. Darien sat across from Ken, keeping him company by playing cards with him. Luna and Artemis were finally let out of the suitcase, and were hiding from the stewardess, who hated animals. Reeni was still busy coloring, in a world of her own with a brand new box of crayons. Lita eventually calmed fell asleep, leaning on Ken's shoulder. Darien: Black jack. Ken said silently: No fair! You cheated didn't you? Darien: Of course not! Just then, Lita put an arm around Ken and mumbled something. Slightly embarassed, he unwrapped her arm from his neck and slowly turned her so she leaned against the pillow. She made a gurgling noise and went back to sleep. Darien: You really like her, huh? Ken: Do you like Serena? Darien: I guess that's a yes. Luna suddenly appeared under Ken's seat. Ken almost jumped through the roof: Luna! Don't sneak around like that! Luna: Sorry, I'm not use to sneaking around like this. It's Artemis's job. When can we get off? Artemis: Hey, I heard that! He jumped off of the overhead compartment and onto Darien's shoulder. Darien looked at his watch: Don't worry, three more hours to go. I think everyone is a little sick of planes by now. The guys finally settled on who won the card game, after an hour. Mina woke up, and found Rei drooling. Mina: Ewww! She's drooling on me! Rei woke with a start: I am not! Mina: Am too! Rei: I'm not! The two fought and fought, until they landed on the ground. Lita woke in time to get her own luggage, but didn't get very far. Her suitcases were so heavy, she walked slower than everyone else. Ken: Lita? Do you want any help with that? Lita: Uggh, no. It's (panting) uggh, okay. Ken didn't believe her, and took both suitcases from her, and gave Lita his duffle bag, which was much lighter. Ken struggled a bit, but finally got the hang of it: Geeze, what do you have in here? Lita looked a little embarassed: I thought that after we get rid of this Negaverse slime, we could hang at the beach, or something. I just brought a few outfits. Serena suddenly had a sweat drop on her head. She turned red, and tried to hide it. It was too late, everyone saw her face. Darien: You too? JUPITER KNIGHT PART III Lita stepped out of the bathroom, and looked around. Last night, she didn't get to look at anything that well, since she was so tired. She heard a ruffling of a sheet. Lita turned to the sound and saw Ken sitting up: So, finally awake? And who was going to wake me up? She teased Ken a little, then saw he was sad that he wasn't able to do what he promised. Ken: I'm sorry. It's my fault. Lita: It's okay. Don't worry. I was just joking around. Don't take it so seriously. Ken lightened up a little and tossed a pillow over at Lita. Lita: Hey?! Ken ducked as Lita threw it back. He got up and looked for his clothes. When he found them, he quickly went into the bathroom. He did his business and got out. Lita was sitting at the foot of her bed, watching TV. Ken sat beside her and looked at the screen. Ken: What are you watching? Lita: Something called Seseme Street. Ken saw all the puppets move around and laughed: Lita? Aren't you a little too old for this stuff? Lita looked kind of embarassed. She pretended to sock him. Ken: Hey. It was just a question! Lita: I'm hungry. Let's see if anyone woke up yet. They took the keys and locked the room. Then, they walked to Serena's room. Lita knocked softly. Darien was sitting on the floor, crosslegged. He was playing with a handheld game or something. He heard someone knock on the door. Darien: Come in. Lita and Ken walked in. Lita looked at the two made beds. She was surprised Serena woke up so early. Darien saw the look of surprise in her face. Darien: Amazing isn't it? Serena actually woke up before ten. Lita nodded: Yup, maybe she's actually becoming more responsible! Darien looked at Lita. They both shook their heads: Nahh! Serena just then came out of the bathroom. She looked angry. Serena: I heard that! Everyone in the room broke out in laughter, even Serena. Mina, Rei, and Ami walked through the open door, confused at why everyone was laughing. Luna was the first to stop laughing, and tried to calm everyone else down. Luna: So, no that everyone is here. Why don't we all go down and get something to eat? There was a round of "UMM-HUM"s and "OKAY"s. Everyone was famished. Ken: What are we going to eat? All the girls said at once: Doughnuts! Darien shrugged helplessly: Majority rules. MEANWHILE...IN PIONICITE'S ROOM Pionicite: Ohh! These filthy humans! So low-tech. I can't wait too get rid of them! They are a total waist of energy! Why no just drain all their energy and use it for the Negaverse? Pionicite paced about the room, thinking of a plan to attract the scout's attention. She suddenly came to a halt. Pionicite: I know! I will attack one of those cruise ships. That will attract their attention. Then, when I get them to sea, they will already in my perfect trap! I can command the forces of the water to swaallow them! I am brilliant! Hahahhahahhahaha! Pionicite just laughed insanely for a while. Sensing humans getting near, she quickly reverted to her human form, and sat on the sofa. There was a slight knock on the door. Pionicite: Who is it? A bell hop on the other side of the door answered: Bellhop, ma'am. May I come in and change the sheets, empty the trash, and do the other things. Pionicite smiled wickedly: Why sure! The bell hop slowly opened the door and saw Pionna perched on the sofa, she gracefully crossed her legs, and stared at him. Bellhop: I'm sorry, do you want me to come back later? Pionna laughed: Ofcourse not! Come here, I won't bite. Slowly, the bellhop came to Pionna. As soon as he was near enough, she snatched him up by the shoulders. Bellhop: Hey, cut it out. Let me down. Pionna: Tell me your name! Bellhop: P-p-p-aul. P-p-p-paul J-j-jinks Pionna held him even tighter: Well, Paul, say goodbye to this world! Paul: No, let me down! Weirdo! Pionna began sucking air out of his lungs. Paul struggled, feeling queasy. Pionna sucked all the air out of him, including all his energy. She dropped him onto the floor. Pionna: No use using him anymore! With the renewed energy, she turned Paul's limp body into a cockroach. She felt energetic, and decided to go shopping before continuing her mission. Serena was busing hogging all the doughnuts, and never bothered to even finish chewing before she swallowed. Ofcourse, she promptly started choking on a mouthful of doughnuts. Darien had to smack her on the back, and she coughed some out, spraying it into her plate. Dairen: Take it easy, Serena. No one is going to steal it from you. Serena: Oh. Heeeheee. She blushed a little, but still kept stuffing herself with doughnuts. The other girls weren't paying any attention to Serena. As usual, Ami had her nose in another book. Mina and Rei were looking at a group of guys who had just come in. Mina tried to look cool, but instead, she spilled some coffee on Rei. Rei: Hey! Mina: Opps! Sorry. Both girls looked like they wanted to crawl into a hole and die. Reeni was picking sprinkles off of her doughnuts. She was sitting across from Ami, and staring at her intently. Ami noticed and put down her book. Ami: What are you looking at? Reeni: What are you reading? Ami: It's a book by Mimi Yang. I heard it's very popular here. Reeni: What is it about? Ami: The astrologilio physics of chemistrical... Ami started talking in big words, and Reeni formed a huge sweat drop. On a table across from them, Lita and Ken were sitting there, talking. Lita was nibbling on a chocolate doughnut, and Ken was drinking about a gallon of coffee. Ken looked at Lita, with blurry eyes. Ken: How come your not eating? Lita: Actually, I don't feel like eating doughnuts anymore. I feel like scrambled eggs and bacon. Ken: Do you want me to go get some for you? There's a restruant right next door. Lita smiled: No, that's okay. How come all you drink is coffee? Ken: I usually don't eat breakfast. And I can't see colors in the morning until I drink my coffee. Lita laughed at that joke. Serena went up to them, with Luna, and sat down on an empty seat. She looked at them and asked a question. Serena: Want to go on a cruise today? Lita: Sure, why not, nothing else to do. Is it okay with you, Ken? Ken: Yeah, sure. Serena went to Ami's table to consult. Lita and Ken just sat there staring at each other. Ken: Wow, Lita. Your beautiful. Lita blushed deeply, and looked away from his eyes: Umm, thanks. Ken: I'm glad I have you all to myself. Lita was embarassed by all this attention. She excused herself to go to the bathroom. When she came back, everyone was getting ready to leave. Darien called a car renting agency and rented a van. The van was parked in front of the curb, and he was leaning against the door. Serena: Shot gun! Ami, Rei, Reeni, and Mina squeezed into the back. Lita an Ken shared the two seats in the middle. They had to share a seatbelt, and it was pretty tight in there. Ken sat next to the window, and Lita sat next to him, practically on his lap. On the ride to shore, Lita felt Ken breathe into her hair. When they got close to the ocean, Serena almost jumped out of the van. Serena: Look! The ocean! Lita swung her head, to look at what Serena was pointing at. She hit Ken in the head with the bottom of her pony tail. Ken: UGHGUGH! Lita: Sorry. My hair get out of control sometimes. Mina and Rei: We know! These two also had a tasteful of Lita's hair once in a while. Darien parked the van in a guarded parking lot, and they walked to harbor. There were not a lot of people boarding the ship, so they got a fair price on the ticket. As they climbed onto the SS Catalina, Serena squealed. Serena: Oh! I love boats! Reeni and Serena ran around the desck, excited, looking here and there. The final boarding call was givin out, and the ship slowy pulled out of the harbor. Smoothly, almost as if the ship was flying, it made it's way farther out to sea. What they didn't know was that also on the ship, was Pionna. Pionna was in a little room on the ship, singing softly to herself. She was just getting ready to start her plan. As soon as the ship came out far enough to be hard to reach. Then, she would start a storm, drain everyone's energy. An hour later, far, far out in sea, Pionna started her plan. Lita and Ken were still on deck, looking at the ocean. The clouds, looked dark and dangerous. Ken: We should go in. It looks like rain. Lita: Okay, let's find the others. They made their way around the deck, looking for their friends. Suddenly, the ship jolted and came to a halt. Lita loss her balance and walked into Ken. Ken held her up, until she regain her balance. Lita: Thanks. Ken nodded, but still held her hand. The people around them were a little bit worried. More than a little bit. A small child shouted. Child: We're going down! That signaled everyone to panic. Ken held tightly to Lita's hands, as they searched and searched through the panic stricken crowd for any familiar face. Finally, they found Serena and the others in the ballroom. Serena looked worried, hold Reeni close, and hugging Darien's arms. Outside, the people were running around, saving this, looking for that. They really thought it was going to end. Large droplets of rain dropped down onto the deck. Strange enough, anyone who was hit by the "rain" would feel weak and faint. Ofcourse, after a short period of time, no one was running anymore, everyone was on the floor, unconcious. Rei was the first to speak: I have bad vibes about this. Ami: Could it be the Negaverse? Mina: Duh! Who else would do that Lita just snuggled farther into Ken's arms. She was scared. This time she had a feeling she might not make it. It was different. She KNEW one of them might not make it. Ken, sensing Lita was scared held her tighter: Don't worry, we'll beat'em! Serena: Transform! Moon Cosmic Power! Mercury Star Power! Mars Star Power! Venus Star Power! Chibi Moon Cosmic! Earth Cosmic! Make-up! Everyone but Lita and Ken transformed. When the others saw Lita still in her regular clothes, they were shocked. Moon: Lita, are you scared. Maybe you should sit this one out? Lita: No, I won't desert you guys. Lita, still holding Ken's hand, shouted. Lita: Jupiter, Cosmic, Star...Makeup! Ken: Jupiter Knight...Power! The two Jupiters circled each other once, and leaves surrounded them, melting into the uniforms. Sailor Jupiter closed her eyes as she felt the tingling sensation on her head. Her rose earrings bloomed, and her tiara formed on her forehead. Jupiter Knight felt the sword push into his hand, but he took it and hid it in his belt, which melted into a metal plate, holding his sword. They stopped, posing for just a second, and moved. Jupiter: What are you all staring at? Let's get out there and fight! Moon: That's the spirit. Tuxeedo mask was about to say something corny, but everyone rushed out the door. Tux: Oh well, I'll say it later! Hovering above the ship, was Pionicite. She was looking down, gloatover what a great job she did. When, to her surprise, the Sailor Scouts came out of a doorway. Pionicite thought to herself: Well, well, what a surprise! I guess we'll just go straight to Plan B! Pionicite: I call upon the great seas, swallow these humans! The scouts saw the water outside the ship starting to rise. They all started to panic. Tux: Everyone, get down on the floor! All of them started for the floor. The frezzing cold water crashed down onto them. Luckily, the wave of water wasn't as strong, it hit the deck and washed out. Jupiter first got up, soaked to the skin, and stood up, her teeth chattering. Jupiter: It takes more than that to keep us down! Moon got up, placing a hand on Jupiter: You got that right! Mars stood up: We're tough. Venus: We're rough! Chibi moon: We're mean! Tux: We're keen! JKnight: We won't let evil prevail! Mercury finnaly got up: And we are SMART! All the scouts looked at her: Huh? Mercury: There was nothing else to say! Pionicite dropped down, a few yards away from them. SHe threw her head back and laughed insanely. Pionicite: You really think you can defeat the evil? You really think so Sailor Moon? Well, think again! Pionicite raised her arms high over her head, and started growing. She was getting bigger by the minute. Pionicite chanted: Forces of the Negaverse, give me the power! Forces of the Negaverse give me the power! Forces... Mercury: We have to stop her! If we don't do something soon, it'll be too late! Mars: Mars...Celestial...Fire...Surround! Rings of fire surrounded Pionicite, and they started getting smaller and smaller. Pionicite: Mwahahahah! Mwhahahahha! She continued growing larger, breaking the ring of fire. Venus: Our powers, they're useless. Tuxeedo threw a rose at Pionicite, but it fell, no harm was done. When she was as tall as all the scouts lined together, she stopped. Pionicite pointed a finger at her enemies, and glared evily. Her eyes glowing redder by the minute. Pionicite: Feel the FORCE! A ball of energy headed for the scouts. All of the scouts braced themselves for what was coming. Jupiter Knight quickly ran in front of Sailor Jupiter, shielding her with his body. Tuxeedo Mask surrounded Chibi Moon with his cape, protecting her like a coccoon. Fast, the ball of evil energy hit them. All the scouts flew back, into the side of the ship. All: Ahhhhh. They hit the ship with a thump. All of them fell to the floor. Pionicite: So, you give up? Moon: Ughhh. Never! Sailor Jupiter : Jupiter...Supreme...Oak...Evolution! A barrage of leaves flew to Pionicite. At the speed of light, the leaves evolved into razor like chips of green. Pionicite threw a hand toward Sailor Jupiter's way. The leaves stopped halfway, falling onto the ground. She didn't stop yet. She screeched, a high, high voice. All the scouts covered their ears. The ship started rumbling, a rumbling from under. The rumbling started to get closer and closer. As it reached the surface of the ship, the deck split in two. Everyone scrambled from the edge of the ship. Sailor Chibi Moon ran straight to Pionicite. Pionicite looked down from her new height. Pionicite: So, does the baby want to join me to kill off these useless twits? Chibi Moon: Moon Heart Attack! This caught Pionicite off guard, and she winced at the burn Sailor Chibi Moon made. Pionicite: You little brat! You'll pay for this! To Be Continued... You got it this far, why not finish reading? JUPITER KNIGHT PART IV Sailor Moon saw the danger Chibi Moon was in, "No!" She ran as fast as she could and pushed Chibi Moon to safety. In doing that, she immediatly put herself in danger. Tuxeedo Mask ran, snatched both of them up, and jumped to safety, all in half a second. Everyone saw that Pionicite was gathering up more and more energy. Pionicite insanely laughed, "So, scared now, are we? Well, I'll give you a choice. You can just surrender now, the easy way, or do you still want to try and fight me?" Sailor Jupiter bravely stood forward, "We will never go without a fight! Till the end, I wont stop defending this wonderful planet!" Pionicite glared hatefully at her, not only was Sailor Jupiter brave, but she also possesed beauty, inner beauty, and Pionicite hated that! "Feel my wrath!" Pionicite hollered as she threw some dark clouds towards Sailor Jupiter. Quickly, Sailor Jupiter ducked out of harm's way, and jumped and dodged the other hits. As she was dodging, Sailor Jupiter failed to notice something else coming to her. A cargo box flew into her. Everyone watched in slow motion as Sailor Jupiter flew into a wall, with a loud thud. "Jupiter!" Everyone cried at once. Pionicite threw a burst of energy at her. Behind Sailor Jupiter, the wall burst. Sailor Jupiter flew, she was being pushed by some invisible force toward the edge, but she could do nothing about. Jupiter Knight, feeling something bad about to happen, ran to help Sailor Jupiter. Nothing in his life moved any slower, he seemed to be moving in slow motion. Sailor Jupiter was about to fall off the side of the ship. Jupiter Knight, knowing this was his last chance, dove forward. He grabbed her hand, and felt himself being pulled down with her. Now, Sailor Jupiter was hanging from the ship, with Jupiter Knight holding strong onto her. He was using all he could to stay on the ship. Almost as if somthing was pulling her, Jupiter Knight felt Sailor Jupiter was getting heavier. On the ship, Pionicite was striking everyone with bolts of nega-energy. Pionicite, seeing the two Jupiter still hanging off the side of the ship, was ferious. She threw a lighting bolt to Jupiter Knight. It struck his back. Still holding on, Jupiter Knight gripped harder, grinding his teeth with pain. Sailor Jupiter felt all the pain he was in, holding her on. She looked up at him, almost crying. "Let go. Save yourself!" Sailor Jupiter ordered. Jupiter Knight clenched his teeth, holding on even tighter,"No, I can't. You KNOW why!" Sailor Jupiter's gaze softened, "No, I don't know why. I can't let you do this. I'm not worth it." Another bolt struck Jupiter Knight, this time making him scream. Jupiter Knight looked intensly into Jupiter's green eyes, "I don't have much time to say this, but..." Another bolt struck at him. He felt light headed. Jupiter Knight continued, painfully, "I love you, Lita. Always have, always will. Never will I let you go." Sailor Moon yelled, "Stop right then and there! I will NOT let you destroy this pure love!" Tuxeedo Mask quickly pulled the two Jupiters up to safety. Pionicite had enough of this. She had a beam of light from her hands, gleaming brighter and brighter. "No you don't!" Sailor Moon yelled. She took out her wand, "Moon..." "Love..." Tuxeedo mask joined in. "ATTACK!" Chibi Moon continued. The combined power and love overpowered the evil. "Noooo!" Pionicite felt all the energy draining. She was mad. At the world. At herself! She knew it was her last few seconds on Earth. She turned to the couple on the deck. With all the remaining energy, she blasted at them. Sailor Jupiter saw the beam heading for them. She stood up weakly, but quickly in front of Jupiter Knight. Jupiter Knight, still dazed and confused. As the the light struck Sailor Jupiter, everything blasted with a brilliant white light. "Nooo!" seeing his beloved sacrificing herself for him, Jupiter Knight bolted up. Just intime to catch her fall onto him. Pionicite already turned into the ash she was made from. Sailor Moon and the other Sailor scouts ran to Sailor Jupiter. Jupiter Knight was now on the floor, holding Sailor Jupiter in the cradle of his arm. Sailor Jupiter fluttered her eyelids, but they felt too heavy. "Lita! Can you hear me?" Jupiter Knoght screamed. Sailor Venus started crying. Sailor Mars placed a hand on her shoulder. Jupiter Knight shook Sailor Jupiter gently, "Wake up. Don't go. Hold on." It took all her energy to lift her eyelids, trying to focus. She saw the loving face of Jupiter Knight. She lifted her cold hand up the his face, and gently touched his cheeks. Jupiter Knight took hold of her hand and held on assuringly. "Hi there. Hold on, you can make it. Just hold on!" Jupiter Knight demanded. Sailor Jupiter sighed, "I can't it hurts too much." "I know it does, you have to hold on!" Sailor Moon cried. "Nice knowing all of you..." Sailor Jupiter's voice grew softer. Sailor Jupiter squeezed Jupiter Knight's hand, "Ken...?" "Yeah?" Jupiter Knight choked. "I love you too." With that, she let go and fainted away. Her uniform melted off, forming into her usual clothes. "We have to get help!" Sailor Mercury screamed. First, Sailor Moon healed the rest of the people on the ship, but couldn't heal Lita. Darien heard the sound of a rescue ship, and signaled them in. A FEW DAYS LATER... Lita woke up, looking up at the soft lights above her. She tried not to notice the sharp pain in her side. She tried to sit up, but yelped in pain. Ken, sitting by her bedside woke up from a much needed nap. Ken gasped, "Lita. You're awake." "Mmm.Hmmm." Lita said weakly. Ken got up and pulled an extra pillow and put it behind Lita, propping her up. "Careful." The door slammed open, and outside, standing was all of her friends. "Lita!" Serena gushed in, rushing to Lita's side. "I'm so glad you're awake!" Serena practically screamed, "You're friend over here didn't believe me that you would make it. But I knew you were tough and could take it!" Ken blushed a little at that comment. Lita was overwhelmed at all his attention, but shortly, they had to leave. Visiting hours were over. Ken stayed after all the others left. "I want to thank you. For saving my life." Ken said softly. Lita smiled, "Hey, I owed you one." Lita became a little flustered and stammered, "Did you really mean it when you said you loved me?" Ken tilted her chin up, making her look straight into his intense eyes. "Of course I did. Ever since we met. Remember?" Ken whispered. Just then, the doctor came in. Ken was asked to leave and come back tommorow. We winked at Lita, and left, closing the door softly. The doctor looked at the clipboard, and frowned. "Just how did this happen young lady?" the doctor asked as he did the usual checkups. "There was an accident on the ship we were on." Lita said, trying not to spill everything about the Sailor Scouts out. The doctor frowned again, "I am aware of that, but what baffles me is why you are more injured than the others on the ship?" Lita just shrugged, feeling tired. "You should be able to check out tommorow. You're lucky that nice young man donated some of his blood to you." the doctor said. "Very happy." Lita mumbled, awed that Ken had gave her the energy to live. The doctor left, with orders to be padked and ready before 10:00 tommorow morning. Lita laid her head on the pillow and sighed. Ken was so good to her. She didn't hink she deserved such a nice and devoted guy. Remember? ... Remember?...Lita heard Ken's voice echo in her head. She remembered the first time they danced. . . It was at a school dance. Her first school dance, when she was 13. Lita was new in Crossroads Jr. High, and came to the dance alone. She looked around, looking at the nice decorations. She spotted the girl with the wild hair. Serena. She didn't go over there, but just stayed next to the refreshments. Lita was used to being a loner. Her parents died three years ago, leaving her all alone. She usually went straight home and cried her heart out, until she was dry of tears. Her whole life was just a dark cloud. Except one sunny spot. Ken. He knew her before the death of her parents. When Lita was kicked out of her old school, she had left all of her old life, including Ken behind. They still talked over the phone, just as friends, and wrote to each other. Lita was even more alone in Crossroads. Before, Ken was always there, walking with her, talking to her when no one else would. Now, in the new school, she once again, was a loner. Suddenly, Lita looked up. She had a feeling. Something familiar. It was more than a feeling. As if by instinct, she knew someone was here. She looked toward the door. Standing there, was the most kindest, loving face. She met his loving gaze, and sent him a message. Together, they drifted toward the dance floor. Ken and Lita. They danced as if they were meant for each other. Moving to the smooth melody. Later, Lita found out that Ken's family moved to a district close to this school, and Ken would be attending. After hearing that, Lita's days seemed to be brighter. The clouds lifted, shining down was the sun. Lita smiled softly in her sleep. She was dreaming again. Dreaming of when they had their first dance. She drifted toward some white fluffy clouds. In the morning, Lita woke to the sound of silence. Everything was still. Lita, sensing something was wrong, bolted straight up. Expecting a sharp pain, she winced, but felt none. She felt much better. She opened her eyes, and saw intense eyes looking at her. Ken was staring at her. He finally came out of his trance, "Feeling better?" "Yup!" Lita said cheerfully. She got up and walked slowly to the bathroom. In the bathroom, on the counter, was her accesories. She neatly tied her hair up into a high ponytail, and fastened the green balls onto her hair. Lazily, she brushed her teeth and splashed some cold water onto her face. When she came out, Serena and the other were also there. She could tell Serena ate something. There was chocolate fudge all over her. Ken held her suitcase in one hand. Happily, she walked out of her room and checked out. Back in the hotel, everyone was in Lita's room, all concerned for her. "Are you sure you're all right?" Ami asked. "Yes! Don't worry, I feel fine." Lita insisted. Sometimes, Ami would be so dramatic. "So, how long have I been asleep?" Lita asked curiously. "Three days!" Mina screamed. "Really?" Now, it was Rei's turn to overreact, "Do you know how long you slept? We were do worried! I thought you weren't going to make it!" "Sorry if I caused you guys to worry. I didn't mean it." Lita apologized. "Don't worry!" Darien said, "As long as you are okay, we're glad." "Mmmm-Hmmm." Ami, Mina and Rei agreed. Ken walked over and absentmindly turned on the TV. He was watching some sort of talkshow with a woman named Rikki Lake. He wasn't really listening, but he just watched the people move about. In the background, he heard the mumbled sound of his friends talking. Ken saw someone wave their hands in front of him. He blinked a few times and saw it was Serena. "Hello? Ken, you still with us?" Serena asked. "Yeah," Ken said, his words started to slur as he felt ligh headed again. "We were wondering if you would like to come shopping with us?" Ami asked politely. "Are you going, Lita?" Ken asked the girl sitting on the bed. "No, I'll stay here and get some rest. Maybe tommorow." Ken shook his head, "I don't think we will stay that long." Luna butted in, "Actually, since all of you are doing such a fine job with the scout business, I thought we could let you all stay for another week. Like a vacation. How does that sound?" There was a round of agreeing, and cheering. Ken started to feel lightheaded even more. Darien saw that and advised, "Maybe you should stay and get some rest too. I mean, after giving all the-" "Good idea!" Rei interupted. They didn't want Lita to find out Ken gave more than half his blood to her during the operation. "I will." Kensaid nervously. The others left to change and look for some shopping malls, and left Lita and Ken alone. Ken started to climb onto the bed. Lita looked at him thoughtfully. "Ken?" "Yeah, Lita?" Ken mumbled. "Thanks." "For what?" Lita stared him straight in the eye, "You don't have to lie. I know how much blood you gave me. I'm thankful for it." "Oh. It's my job." Ken half whispered, half mumbled, almost falling to sleep. "Nice naps." Lita said as she also crawled under the covers of her bed and flopped down. TO BE CONTINUED.... What's going to happen next? "Can't we leave without her?" Mina complained. "Try to wake her again." Darien answered. Rei stepped up and slapped Lita on the back, "Hello? Come on. If you don't wake up, we'll leave without you." "I usually have this kind of trouble with Serena." Luna commented on how it was impossible to wake Serena up in the morning. Rei was about to slap Lita again, when they all heard grumbling. "Baka-na Rei-chan. Why do you hit me?" Lita growled, as she sat up. "Well, you were practically dead asleep." Rei yelled back, and stomped off mad. Lita got up and rubbed her eyes. "What time or day is it?" "Six thirty in the evening. Get dressed so we can go out to eat." Ami said. Lita looked around for Ken, but didn't see him. "Where is Ken?" "He went downstairs for a walk." Serena said. Lita walked into the bathroom after getting her clothes to change into. She brushed her hair back and slipped into a short dark green dress. When she walked out, only Mina was still in the room. "Where did everyone go?" Lita asked. "They went down to the lobby to wait for you. It's about time." "Where is Ken? Did he come back?" "Don't worry. He's downstairs too." The two girls walked downstairs and looked for the others. They found them sitting around on the lounge chairs and talking. "What are you guys laughing about?" Mina asked. "We were talking about how Mina cut her hand trying to cook!" Serena burst out laughing. Ken stood up and stood next to Lita. Lita hooked her arm through his and they started out of the lobby. "Hey, wait up. Don't leave without us!" Rei shouted. The couple slowed down a little, as they headed toward a restraunt. Luckily, the hotel was in the center of town, and they didn't need to walk very far. After about five minutes of walking, they stopped in front of a restruant called Chez Mimi. There was a long line leading into the restauant, but the smell was capturing them. As usual, through the whole line, Serena was whining and complaining. A snooty matre'd came up as they headed into the eating area, "Do you have a reservation?" "Of course not, if we did, we would be in here and eating by now!" Rei snapped. Sometimes, she would loose that temper of hers. The matre'd spun around his heels and ordered, "Follow me." "No smoking area, please." Darien called after him. Serena was the first to be seated in the round table. Darien sat next to her. Ken held out a chair for Lita and waited for her to sit. "What a perfect gentleman. Why don't you ever do that?" Serena asked Darien. Darien replied with a witty comment, "Usually, you sit and start eating before I even get in the restaurants." Serena blushed and a huge sweat drop formed. The others laughed when they finally sat down. This time, a much nicer waiter came over, "And what would the ladies like?" Mina looked over the menu, not knowing any French, and said, "Escargo." Ami looked up from her menu and said, "Mina, that's--" "Shh!" Rei whispered. She knew that it was snails, but she wanted to see if Mina would actually eat them. It was obvious the two blondes had no idea what it was. Serena ordered the same thing. Darien just sat there and smiled to himself. Ami ordered a fillet minon (steak), and a side order of salad. Lita, the food expert of the bunch, although Serena ate more food, ordered Ceasar salad and spinach ravioli. Ken just ordered some speghetti, figuring that he was safe and nothing wierd would come out of that order. The drinks came first. Everyone had apple cider with a touch of lemon. Everyone's orders came at the same time except Mina and Serena's. "I'm sorry, your meal takes longer to prepare. It will be here in a few minutes." the waiter said to Serena. When he left, Mina said, "I guess we have the best orders on the table. Is that why it takes so long to prepare?" "I guess." Ami said as seriously as she could. When Serena's and Mina's food finally did come, they were confused at first. Serena studied hers intently for a few moments. "This looks like-" "Snails!" Mina shouted. "You let us order snails? And you didn't tell us anything?" The whole table broke up laughing. Serena had a disgusted look on her face. She was getting hungry. "Oh well, it's always nice to try different foods." she said and stuck a snail in her mouth. Everyone's eyes popped out. Serena wasn't that brave. They watched closly as Serena chewed. "Well?" Mina asked. If Serena said it was good, she would eat it. Serena swallowed and thought before she spoke, "It's kind of chewy. Taste kind of fishy. It's pretty good, though." Mina stuck one in her mouth, and swallowes, "Not bad. You guys want some?" "NO thankyou." Darien said. Ken and Lita shook their heads at the same time. Ami looked like she didn't want any, and Rei said no. Serena slipped one each to Luna and Artemis who were hiding under the table, having a feast with all the foods everyone was giving them under the table. All through the meal, Ken couldn't keep his eyes off of Lita. She was so beautiful. He shuddered at the thought that he almost lost her. He didn't know what he would do if she was gone. Lita caught Ken staring at her and blushed. It was pretty hard to eat while someone kept making googly eyes at her. "Hey look! Lita's red as a tomato!" Serena pointed out with her mouth full. Bits and pieces of food flew in every direction. This made Lita blush so much, she resembled a grape. "Lay off them Serena. You're making them embarassed. It's not like you never make googly eyes at Darien!" Mina came to Lita's defense. The last comment shut Serena up through the meal. After the meal was the fight over who was to pay the bill. "We're the men here! We will pay!" Darien shouted. "No way macho man. We can pay for ourselves." the girls shouted back. "Just let us pay. Stop whining." Ken complained. "NO! We will pay!" Serena screeched. Finally, it was decided that the girls would pay for the meal, and the guys will pay for the movie that was to come later. They gathered their things and walked out of the restraunt full. At the movies, the line wasn't as long, and they got into the theatres after a few minutes. They walked around the aisles, trying to decide on a seat. Finally, they found a whole empty row in back, and sat. "When is it going to start?" complained Serena. "Shhh!" Everyone said. The movie started, and everyone quieted down. Halfway through the movie, Luna and Artemis noticed a lot of people were yawning, and most were asleep. "It's not that boring is it?" Artemis asked. "No. I think the movie isn't the problem. Something is draining all the people's energy." Luna jumped onto Serena and shouted, "Transform!" "I'm too tired Luna. Tommorow okay?" Serena yawned. "Jupiter Star Makeup!" "Jupiter Knight Power!" "Mars Star Makeup!" "Mercury Star Makeup!" "Venus Star Makeup!" "Tuxeedo Mask!" Serena finally agreed, "Alrighty. Moon Prism Makeup!" Luckily, everyone in the theatre was in some sort of coma, and no one saw them transform. "Spread out and look for what is causing everyone to sleep!" Artemis commanded. The scouts spread out, not feeling so tired anymore, and looked for anything suspicious looking. "Look at this!" Sailor Mars shouted. All the scouts gathered around her. Sailor Mars was holding a ball or orb of some sort. It was pulsing, and seemed to be obsorbing everyone's energy. "Sailor Moon. So something. I'm getting tired." Sailor Mars said wearily. "Moons Scepter Elimination!" Sailor Moon shouted. The rays from her wand shattered the orb, and the energy flowed back the the people. "Quick, transform back." Sailor Jupiter said. Once again, they were just seven normal teenagers doing teenager things. "What was that?" Rei whispered to Luna when they were back at the hotel. "It was probably left behind after we defeated Pionicite. I think it's her energy ball. It sucks energy from anyone near it. But lucky for us, it is defensless." Artemis answered instead. Everone went to their own bedrooms, after being told that they had to leave and return to Tokyo the next day. On the bed, Lita started sobbing. Ken sat next to her and put an arm around her, "What's the matter?" "Nothing." Lita sobbed. , she thought to herself. "You can tell me. I know when you're hurting inside. Stop denying that something is wrong." Ken said, as he stroked her hair. "I just to live a life without knowing that my life is always and will always be in danger." Lita cried harder. "You don't want to be a scout?" "No, it's not that. I want a guarantee that I will live until I'm old. I never told anyone this, but I don't want to die young." Lita whispered softly. "You're not going to. I promise you that I'll protect you. Always. Life has no guarantees, Lita." "I don't want you ever to risk your life for me." "I have to. If I don't and something happens to you, I'll just die." The two held each other for a long time. Finally, late into the night, they went to their own beds and went to sleep. A deep sleep that didn't let go until noon the next day. "Wake up! We'll miss the flight home!" Serena's voice shouted. ********* Well, there's another chapter in this series. "What are they do here so early?" Darien asked as he squinted into the sunrise. "The same thing we're doing here, muffin. Looking at the sunrise." Serena snuggled farther into Darien's arms. They were on a hill just on the outskirts of Tokyo. The sun had just began to rise, lighting up the sky with it's vivid colors. Ken and Lita were sitting about 100 yards infront of Darien and Serena. They thought they were alone, but they weren't. Lita noticed that Ken was awfully quiet so far. >I wonder why Ken brought me up here, so early too< "Ken. What's wrong? Why are you so quiet?" she asked. Ken just stared blankly into her eyes. Finally, he spoke, "I'm just depressed." Lita tried an attempt to cheer her boyfriend up. She held out both her hand, raised them above her head, and tilted her face. She smiled and said cheerfully, "Lita Kino at your service! Feeling blue? I can help." She said that in her commercial voice. Ken just smiled sadly, and reached over to carress her cheek. He sighed, and closed his eyes. Lita was beginning to worry about him. It was not like Ken to be so down. "Tell me what's wrong, Ken. Please, I can help." Ken's eyes blinked open, and he said, "In a few days, I'll have to go." "Go where?" "I was accepted as a foriegn exchange student to France. I really want to go, but I don't want to leave you." Ken said at once. Lita, who was struck off guard at that, gasped. "How long will you be gone?" she managed to ask. "The rest of the school year, and the summer. I'll come back before the next school year starts." Lita did some quick calculations, and figured that since it was still Spring, then Ken would be gone for half a year. That was six whole months without Ken. "I'll miss you." Lita croaked. >beg him to stay!< her mind yelled at her. "I'll stay if you want me to. In case something happens." Ken quickly added. "No. Everything's been peaceful. I don't think anything will happen. Go to France." Lita said. Ken tried not to notice the pain in her eyes. He wanted to stay, but he also wanted to go. "I'm leaving tomorow. I have to go home and pack my bags soon." "So soon?" Lita asked. "I'm sorry. Do you really want me to go?" he asked once again. "Yes. I know you wanted to go for a long time. You should go. I'll be okay." Lita lied. "My flight is at 2:30 in the afternoon. Can you meet me there tommorow? I want to say goodbye." Ken asked "Ofcourse." Ken reached over an kissed her full on the lips, and stood up. "Do you need a ride?" he asked. Lita fought to hold back her tears. If she cried now, it would keep Ken from going. "No. I'll stay here a while." "Bye." "Bye." Ken ran to the bottom of the hill, and jogged over to his motorcycle. With a wave to Lita, he put on his helmet, and speeded back to the city. When Lita was sure that he wasn't going to come back, she let her tears go. She put her head in her arms, and cryed her heart out. She was still sobbing when she felt someone tap on her shoulder. Wiping her tears with her sleeve, she looked up. Serena and Darien stared at her with wide eyes. "What's wrong Lita?" asked Serena as she took a seat on the lush green grass next to her crying friend. "Maybe she wants to be alone." Darien told Serena. Sometimes, she could get pretty nosy. "No. That's okay. Stay." Lita sobbed. "What did Ken say to you?" Serena asked. "You guys saw us." "Yeah. Sorry if we were being nosy, but we were sitting behind you." Darien apologized. "He's leaving!" Lita cried as new tears began to flow. "What? What do you mean he's going to leave?" Serena asked gently. "He's going to France on a foreign exchange project for half a year." Lita sobbed. "I won't see him for six months!" "Why don't you ask him to stay?" Darien suggested. "I can't do that. I know he wanted to do this for a long time. I can't hold him back." Lita said. "Maybe I should go talk to him." Serena said. "NO. If you do, then he won't go, and then it'll be my fault that he didn't get to go. No one is going to mention this. Okay?" she said. There was only silence. "Okay?" Lita repeated. "Okay." Serena and Darien agreed grudgingly. Lita got up, wiped her face, and walked away. "Remember not to mention to Ken." she shouted over her shoulder at the two. They nodded and watched Lita walk down the hill, and waited at the bus stop. When the bus came to take her to town, they were still on the hill, watching her leave. "Poor Lita." Serena finally said. "I never saw her like that." Darien replied. "Yeah, she really likes Ken. A lot." "I like you a lot too." Darien mischieviously. "Oh really?" Serena challenged. Two brothers rented an apartment in the middle of town. As soon as all the furniture was moved in, they quickly shut the door. "Is that all?" Galdon asked his brother, Calbrom. "Yes. That is all." Calbrom answered. Galdon flopped down onto the sofa, exhuasted. Calbrum sat across from him. The two looked like opposites of each other on first glance, one was tall and handsome, the other was short and not. A second look showed that they shared the same facial features. They were twins. "I'm pooped out." Calbrum exclaimed. "Me to." "Let's get some energy." "Right on brother." The two brothers tore open a large box, and each reached in. Out came two cats. Both brothers held their cats tightly in their hands, and sucked the animals of it's energy. They threw the limp cats out the apartment windown down into the alley. "Who will be our next victim?" Galdon asked. "With luck, Sailor Jupiter." Galdon and Calbrum grinned evily, and laughed their evil laughter that filled the room. Ken waited in the airport, a duffle bag in one hand. He had already put the rest of his luggage on the ramp to the plane, but now he was looking for Lita. >I hope she comes< he thought urgently to himself. Finally, he spotted some girls walking through the crowd in line to get into the airport. "Ken." Lita shouted. She was carrying a bag. As she got closer, Ken saw that it was the lunch bag she always brought to school. >is she going to eat lunch here< he asked. "Lita. I'm glad you came." That was no lie. He knew how much bravery it took Lita to even set foot in an airport. After her parents died in that terrible accident, Lita didn't even dare to look at a plane. "Ken. We're all going to miss you." Serena spoke for the rest of the girls. Ken looked around at his friends, the scouts. Ami, Mina, Rei, Serena, and Darien. Too bad Reeni had to go back. "I'm going to miss you guys too." Ken said, "Can I talk to Lita alone?" "Sure." Darien answered. He led Serena and the others to some seats, and Ken took Lita's hands and guided her into a corner in the room. "God, I miss you already." Lita whispered. "Lita, I love you. Don't you ever forget that." Ken said. He started getting closer to kiss her, but Lita brought something up. It was her lunch bag. She handed it to him. "I packed you supper so you don't have to eat the airline food." Lita said. "Thanks." Ken took it, and put it in his duffle bag. >Good old Lita, always thinking of someone else.< he thought. Ken pulled her up to him, and embraced her. He gently placed his lips down on hers, and savoured their last kiss together. "Flight 17 boarding call!" the speaker boomed. The two of them reluctantly pulled away. Ken stared into those mesmerizing emerald eyes of hers, trying to capture it in his mind. He tried to memorize every detail about her. His hand went into his pocket, and brought something out. Ken took Lita's hand, placed an object in them, and closed her hand up. Lita began to open her fist, and look at what it was, but Ken touched her hand again. "No. Not until I leave." he said. "Last call. Flight 17." the speaker boomed again. "I love you." Lita mouthed to him. The look in her eyes showed him all the love she had for him. She didn't need to speak it. Ken embraced Lita again, smelling the scent of her soft hair. That was going to be one thing that he wouldn't smell for a long time. Lita took in the scent of his clothing. It wasn't like body odor, more of a scent. She could smell a thousand people, but only one could smell like him. That was just Ken. Reluctantly, Ken unwrapped his arms from her, and picked up his duffle bag. They walked toward the others. "Bye." Ken said. "See you in August." Serena said. "Goodbye." the others said. Ken turned to Lita, looking right into her enchanting eyes that were so full of sadness now. "I'll write you." "You better." Lita said, "Bye." "Goodbye." Ken walked into the tunnel that led into the plane, never turning around. Another look back, into Lita's eyes would mean he had to stay. He forced himself to walk straight into the plane. When he boarded, was when he let out a sigh. The decision was made. He was going. Lita clutched the silky object in her hand tightly as she watched the plane leave the ground. "Lita, I think you should sit down. You don't look so good." Mina said. They led Lita to a seat, and watched her intently. "What are you holding?" Rei asked. Lita remembered what Ken had said. She slowly brought her fist up to eye level, and slowly opened it. A dark green material was bunched up in a ball. Lita knew what it was even before she straightened it out. It was the tie Jupiter Knight wore. She smelled it. It was Ken's scent. "Is that his?" Darien asked. "Yes." Lita broke down, sobbing hard. Tears splashed on the tie. "Lita. He'll be back. Don't worry." Mina tried to confort her friend. "No he won't. He's going to find a French girl, and forget all about me!" Lita sobbed. "Or his plane will crash, I'll get a phone call in the middle of the night, and they'll say he died!" Lita was being hysterical. She knew those were stupid ideas, but she couldn't help it. "None of those things will happen, Lita." Rei said. "Yes it will! Everyone I love has gone down in a crash! He'll go down into the sea, and no one will ever find his body!" Lita screamed. Rei reached over and slapped her. "Get a hold of yourself! You're going hysterical. I'm sorry I had to slap you, but you weren't listening to anything." "That's alright." Lita took a deep breath and tried to keep herself under control. "I think you we should take you home." Darien suggested. "Yeah, let's go to your house, and we can play with the new Sailor V game I got." Serena agreed. Lita let them take her home, but she didn't really want to play video games. She just wanted to mope around the house. At her house, Lita was holding a controller, but not doing anything. Serena was kicking her butt in the new Sailor V fighting game. The game over sign flashed onto the screen. "Lita you're not playing!" Serena said, waving a hand in front of her face. "I just don't feel like doing anything." Lita said. She put the controller down, and sat on the sofa. Rei's angry face stared down at her. "You can't just stay here feeling sorry for yourself until Ken comes back. Do something to pass the time. Soon, you'll feel so great, he'll be back in no time." she shouted. "Yeah Lita. Why not come and join the volley ball team. We need an extra player. It will help you pass the time." Mina said cheerfully. "You're right." Lita said in a determined voice. "I'm going to join something. Volleyball. I like that." "Good for you, Lita." Serena cheered on. "Now, it's time to kick butt!" Lita shouted as she grabbed the video controller and started to beat Serena's character up. "Hey. Not so rough!" Serena whined. Galdon smiled dementively into the window. He couldn't wait to go on with their plan. First, they had to enroll into the same school as Sailor Jupiter, and then, lure her into their perfectly laid out trap. He turned around when he heard the door slam. He pushed aside his semi long platnium blonde hair that hung over his eyes, and looked at who came in. His brother Calbron grinned like a chesire cat, "Guess what I found out?" Galdon sat on the sofa, "What, brother?" "Sailor Jupiter is named Lita. Lita Kino. She goes to Juuban Junior High. Shall we go on with the plan?" "Yes. Go on." Galdon urged. Caldron tossed his brother a picture of Lita. "First, you and I shall attend the school, act like normal humans. Yuck. Then, you will get her to like you. Lure her into the apartment, then it's bye bye Sailor Jupiter!" Galdon looked at the picture of a girl with reddish brown hair smiling back at the camera. "Yes. I win her heart, then crush it like the human she is. Perfect." Galdon crushed the picture up in his fist, and lit it on fire with his eyes. "Let's go enroll into the school. Right now, my ordinary human brother Don." "Yes, human brother Cal." The two of them grinned like chesire cats on the demented side, and walked out out the apartment. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ What's next? Yes I know everyone wrote about others having dreams, but I wanna too! JUPITER KNIGHT PART VII >Where am I? Why is it so foggy?< Ken walked on to a hard rock ground. He couldn't see what was in front of him. He walked on, and noticed a dark shape in front. He walked closer, but the shape seemed to be moving back. >What is that?< A crash of purple thunder ripped across the dark grey sky, and right at him. He couldn't move. He felt the electricity rush through him, burning every part of his body. >NO! THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!< Ken jolted out of bed screaming. He was wet with perspiration, and was panting. >It was just a dream< he told himself. "Ken. Are you alright?" Marcus asked. Ken looked at the bottom of the bunk bed him and his host for the foreign exchange project shared. It was a good thing they both knew English, communication would have been impossible. "Yes. I just had a nightmare. Sorry I woke you." he said, feeling exhausted. It was as if he really did run that long of a distance. "You were shouting something. You were shouting 'Lita'. What is a Lita?" Marcus asked. "Not what. Who. Lita is my girfriend back home." Ken sighed at the memory of Lita. He had to depend on his memory for Lita now. "Were you guys serious?" Marcus asked. "Very. You have no idea." Ken said. "Why don't you call her right now. Tell her you miss her." Marcus suggested. "I can't. Long distance is too expensive. You've already been too kind. I can't let you waste anymore of your money." Ken said. "Nonsense. On this trip, you get a total of five calls home. It's been payed for." Marcus brought up a phone. "What time will it be in Japan?" Ken asked. "Since it is moring here, I think it should be around dinner time there." "Okay. I'll call." Ken picked up the phone. He didn't know why his hands were shaking like that. Lita was thrown out of bed by the sound of the phone. She clumsily felt around for it on her dresser. When she finally found it, she picked it up. "H'Low? Who's calling this early?" Lita said sleepily into the reciever. There was static on the other line, but the voice came out loud and clear. "Lita? This is Ken." Lita was fully awake by that voice. That voice that she haven't heard from in almost a week. "Ken! Is it really you?" "Yes. What time is it?" "Three in the morning!" Lita shouted happily. On the other end of the line, Ken gave Marcus a look that said he was wrong. Marcus just shrugged. "I miss you Lita. I really do." Ken said into the phone. "I do to. I can't wait til you come back." Lita said. "Soon. I'll be back before you know it. I have to cut this call short. My host is paying for it." Ken said sadly. "I'll write you." "Ken, I love you." Lita said sadly. She couldn't express how much she loved him. Ken blushed on the other end. "Me too. I love you too. Bye Lita." "Bye." They both hung up at the same time. Lita couldn't go back to sleep. She was too excited about the call. "Oh man. You're blushing!" Marcus laughed. Ken walked into the bathroom. He didn't need to be embarassed anymore. At least he had told Lita how much he loved her. He didn't think he told enough. Lita ran into the classroom. It was the second time she was late this week. If she kept that schedule up, she'll be like Serena in no time. She slid into her seat and tried to avoid Mina's angry look. Mina had been waiting for her, but she never showed up. The teacher cleared her throat, and looked sternly at both girls. "I hope that being late will not be a habit." Mrs. Takuto said. Lita felt her face flush. She hated when teachers put her on the spot like that. It was bad enough that her uniform didn't fit in, that was okay, but teachers loved to pick on her since she was always in fights. Well, not recently. Just because she was expelled from her last school didn't mean she was bad. Lita wished some people would be a little more open minded. Like Ken. She started to day dream, when she felt Mina jab her with a pencil. "What?" Lita whispered. "Look at the new guy." Mina indicated to a young man in the front row. Lita saw who Mina was pointing at. There was a young man with wavy platinum blonde hair. He looked pretty tall, taller than most guys. "Who is he?" Lita asked. "If you were here earlier, you would've heard." Mina said, slightly annoyed. "Sorry. Don't wait for me next time. So tell me already." Lita asked. "Okay, his name is Don. No last name. He just moved here, and he's fifteen. He's pretty cute. You should've seen when he first walked in. All the girls almost fainted. He is way beyond cute." Lita was sure that Mina was one of the girls who were swooning over him, but she decided not to mention it. Lita continued to stare at him, trying to get a look at his face. Mina was also looking. She wanted to get another look at him. Slowly, Don turned around and caught Lita and her friend staring at him. >Good,< he thought, >she's taking the bait.< He flashed a smile over at her, and saw blush. Lita immediatly looked down. She knew she was blushing, but she hoped no one was looking. She got up the courage to look up again. He wasn't looking anymore. Mina jabbed her with her pencil again. "Hey, that hurt. Why don't you use your finger?" Lita whispered. "He smiled at you." "I know." Lita felt herself starting to blush again. "Before you start flirting, remeber Ken?" Mina asked. A pang of guilt went through Lita. How could she think Don was cute? She had Ken. "I'm not going to flirt. I'm perfectly happy with Ken." Lita said. "Then I can go after him?" Mina asked questingly. "Be my guest." "Lita Kino! Come sit at the front desk. I will not allow this kind of destraction in my room." Mrs. Takuto shouted. Everyone was looking at her. Lita held her head high, gathered her things, and moved to the front desk. This was usually where the boys who didn't listen sat. This was the first time she came up here. Lita sat down, and looked up to the teacher. "Are we ready?" the teacher asked sarcastically. "Yes miss." Lita mumbled. "Good." the teacher droned on and on about historical facts. >Am I being watched?< Lita thought. She looked up, under the intense gaze of Don. She self consciously crossed her legs. He kept on staring. He seemed to be sending some sort of message with his eyes to her. Ken's gorgeous brown eyes kept appearing in Lita's mind. She was wracked with guilt. She didn't believe that she found Don attractive. >I already have a boyfriend.< Lita reminded herself. >leave him for Mina!< Thankfullly, the bell rang, and Lita gathered her things for recess break. She was about to get up, books in one hand, when she dropped them. She dropped them because of a hand. The hand was resting on the table. She followed the hand up to the arm, the shoulder, and then the face. Don helped her gather the fallen books, and waited for her to say something. "Hi, I'm Lita." Lita said, blushing. "I'm Don." he said, looking deeply at her. "Nice to meet you." "Would you show me around school? I'm new and I don't know where anything is." Don made a helpless face. Lita thought for a while. It wouldn't hurt. She was just showing a new guy around. "Okay." Mina came up behind her, "Hi, Don. I'm Mina, nice to meet you." Mina smiled up at him, and offered her hand. Don just stared at it, and finally shook it. "Nice to meet you." Lita looked at Mina, "Would you like to come and show Don around the school with me?" "Sure." The three walked down the hall, pointing out the gym, lockers, bathrooms, and anything else they knew. Lita kept on talking, but had to avoid Don's intense gaze. She felt herself blush everytime she met his eye. >Why am I feeling like this? I like Ken! Why is he having that effect with me? I never feel like this unless I'm with Ken.< the thoughts flashed through Lita's mind. Lucky for her, Mina was taking over, doing all the talking so Lita could think for a while. Lita had been so engrossed in her own thoughts that she failed to notice the bump in the ground. Clumsily, she tripped, and flew forward. Her books dropped in a clatter, and she fell on her butt. "Are you okay?" Mina said, laughing. "Yeah." Lita was really red now. Don reached a hand out for Lita. "Let me help you out." As soon as his hand touched hers, he got an unfamiliar feeling. >What am I feeling? It feels so strange. I haven't felt like this for a long time.< Don thought. "Thanks." Lita took his hand, and he pulled her up. When she was steady and standing, he was still holding her hand. He was holding it for a pretty long time. Mina had gathered up the mess that Lita dropped, and handed it to her. Lita had to pull away from Don's tight grasp in order to get her things. They continued to walk, this time Lita kept a sharp lookout for anything she might trip over. "You should have seen the way he looked at her!" Mina said jeolously to the other girls. All five girls were sitting in Lita's living room talking. Ami didn't have to go to cram school since it was being remodeled, and Rei had just came from her own school. "Lita always gets the good ones!" Rei exclaimed. She had seen Don walking to his apartment on her way to Lita's. "I already have Ken." Lita said quietly. "You better tell Don that you already have a boyfriend. He's getting way too interested in you to just be classmates." Ami said. "Any word from Ken?" Serena asked. "Oh, I forgot to tell you guys. Ken called me this morning." Lita suddenly remembered. "How is he?" Luna spoke up. "He said he's fine, and that he misses me." Lita beamed with affection. "How sweet!" Rei gushed. "I know. I miss him so much." Lita said. Mina tried to cheer her friend up, "You're coming to the volley ball tryouts later right?" Lita looked at the clock hanging by the wall. It was just three forty. The tryouts wouldn't be until four thirty. "I guess. I'm not really good though." Serena started to laugh hysteriacally. Everyone stared at her until she stopped laughing. "You don't have to be good. After all, Mina made it!" She broke down laughing again. "Hey!" Mina threw a pillow at Serena, but Lita caught it just in time to keep it from hitting Serena's face. "No pillow fights! I just cleaned the house yesterday." she said. "Sorry." Mina apologized. Lita went into the kitchen, and took out a dish with some cookies on it. As soon as she set it down onto the coffee table, Serena grabbed for them. She ate half of it before anyone else even finished their first one. "Serena! Leave some for Lita. She's the one who baked it you know!" Rei scolded. "It's okay, Seren can eat as much as she wants. I'm not that hungry. Luna, why don't you eat some?" Lita offered one to the black cat. Luna eagerly took one and ate it, "These are good. Very good!" Luna mumbled with her mouth full. No one was actually getting any work done, but that was fine with everyone except Ami. "You guys! Let's try to do some work. We are wasting valuable study time." "You are absolutely right. Let's get down to business." Serena agreed, which was pretty odd since she hated to study. The girls got almost fifteen minutes of studying in when Serena had to leave. She took Luna and more of Lita's cookies with her. Rei went home with Ami. That left Mina and Lita in her house. Mina helped Lita with the tea cups and dishes. After that was all put away, they walked back to the school for volley ball practice. What they didn't know was that there was a shadow following them to the school, and it didn't belong to neither of them. Lita went up to the coach with Mina, while she asked if Lita could join on such short notice. The coach agreed, but first told Lita to show them her abilities with the ball. Lita spiked, set, and served the ball like a pro. Mina was astonished, since Lita never told her how good she really was. Back in the bleachers was a dark figure, hidden in the shadows. It followed Lita in, and no one knew about it. >Time to reel her in.< Don thought on the bleachers. He was still deep in thought and didn't even see the ball heading for him. "Watch out!" Mina shouted to the mysterious man on the bleachers. Don looked up too late. The ball hit him and bounced off of his head. He rubbed his head, but it didn't hurt too much. "Don, are you okay? I'm sorry." Mina said, holding the ball she picked up. "Yeah." "What are you doing here?" Lita asked, walking up to them. "She hit me with the ball." Don said. "Sorry to hear that." Lita said, and walked off. Mina sat down and tried to flirt with Don, but he kept looking at Lita. Mina saw that she had no hope off getting a date with him and she walked off. In the locker room, Mina confronted Lita with the knew knowledge she gained. "Don really likes you." Mina told her. Lita stooped over to tie her shoes. "No he doesn't." "Yes he does." Mina insisted. "I hate to say it, but he really does." "Oh well. There's nothing I can do about it." Lita sighed as she stuffed her gym clothes into the duffle bag. "Ready to go?" "Yeah." Galdon was doing the homework they were assigned when his brother came in. "What are you doing?" demanded Calbrom. "Home work." "You idiot. We don't have to do homework! Use your stupid powers." Calbrom insisted. Galdon pointed to the sheet of paper and BOOM! The paper was filled with answers. "Have you collected some energy from Sailor Jupiter?" asked Calbrom hungrily. "Not exactly." Galdon said nervously. "What do you mean?" "I have to get to know here, then lure her in." "Just suck her of the stupid energy! What is so hard about that?" "Sorry." Calbrom walked toward the front door. "I'm going to get some energy. Since you didn't have the brains to get some yourselves, you better come with me." Obediently, Galdon followed. They reverted to their human clothes when they reached the street. >Why does this feel so familiar< Ken thought to himself as he walked on the dry dark ground. A dark blurry figure stood on the horizon. >What is that?< He had an urge to walk toward the horizon. He walked on and on, feeling his muscles complain after the third mile. Surprisingly, the figure was still far away. It didn't look any nearer. Ken walked faster, almost running now. "Wait!" he called to the object that seemed to be receeding. He ran as fast as he could, and stopped dead when he felt nothing but air at his feet. In a split second, he was falling into a dark hole. >Noooo!< he thought. >Not again!< Ken fell off the bed, all the way to the floor. This was especially painful since he was on top of a bunk bead. "Are you okay?" Marcus asked sleepily. "Yes. Just another nightmare." Ken groaned as he sat up. "You've been having a lot lately. Are you sure you're okay. No dark secrets hiding that are disturbing you?" >Besides that I'm Prince of Jupiter, and responsible for the well being of my girlfriend?< he thought. "No." Ken lied. "Go back to sleep." Marcus turned away from him, and started drifting off. Ken didn't think he would be able to sleep that night, so he started to open the bedroom door. "Where are you going this late?" Marcus mumbled. "For a walk. I need some fresh air." Marcus was already snoring, do Ken just stepped out of the room quietly. He walked out of the house, trying not to desturb Marcus' parents, out into the cold night breeze. Ken jogged to the park in the corner, where there was a perfect view of the Ifle Tower. Looking at that made him think of Lita. He missed her like hell. There was never a second in his life that he had not thought about her. He took out a pen and paper from his pajama pocket, and started to write her a letter. Lita was preparing dinner when her communicator went off. She dropped whatever she was doing and picked it up. Luna's face went on in the screen. "Lita. Meet us at the carnival in the middle of Tokyo Park. Something very strange is going on." Luna said in a hushed tone. By what was in the backyard, Lita already knew that Luna and Sailor Moon was probably already there. Lita turned off her stove and rushed out of the house. Halfway through the park, she made sure no one was looking, and transformed. "Jupiter Star Makeup!" she shouted, feeling the magic burst out of her and wrap around her. As soon as she was Sailor Jupiter, she ran at hyper speed to the carnival. The nearer she got, the more unconscious people there were. "Mars Fire Ignite!" Sailor Mars jumped out with her fireballs ready to fly. Sailor Jupiter strained her eyes to see what they were suppose to be shooting at. All she could see was a normal looking plastic bear. "Sailor Moon. What is the problem?" Sailor Jupiter shouted. "Good you're here. See that large plastic bear, well I think it's sucking everyone dry of energy. I think it might be from the Dark Moon." Sailor Jupiter stepped closer to the bear, touching it. "Jupiter! No. Don't touch it." Sailor Mercury shouted from the ground. Sailor Jupiter's hands instantly drew back. It was too late. The bear had drained some of her energy already. Sailor Mars let her fire go, and watched in awe as the bear stood, not a dent. "Have you tried the Moon Scepter?" Sailor Jupiter asked. "Yes, that and all the other powers we had." Sailor Venus answered. Luna jumped up. "I know. Combine your powers!" "Are you sure Luna?" Sailor Moon asked doubtfully. "Yes. Do it now!" "Jupiter Thunder Clap!" "Venus Love Me Chain!" "Mars Celestial Fire!" "Mercury Ice Bubbles!" "Moon Scepter!" At the same time, the scouts holding their powers said, "Combine!" All the powers welded together, and started to fly to the bear at lighting speed. Just before it reached them, a single red rose fell in with it. This made it even more powerful. A sound that could only be compared to shattered glass cut through the air. What was left of the bear was only a small seed. Up higher, hidden in the tree tops were the two brothers. They had already taken enough energy to last them another week. Calbrom was furious that the scouts had destroyed his only tool to collect energy. Now, he had to do it by himself, which was much harder. "Let's take them on right now!" he shouted with fury. "Wait, brother. We don't know how powerful they are yet." Galdon said rationally. "Don't you mean how weak they are?" Calbrom started to the ground. "Are you going to stay here and cower, or come with me?" Galdon followed reluctantly. He had seen Sailor Jupiter. He wasn't afraid of her, he just didn't really want to hurt her. He admitted to himself that he liked her. He had an interest in her, but he didn't dare mention that to his brother. Calbrom would skin him if he knew that he liked a human, a mortal even. But he knew that his own brother would not kill him. Not because they were kin, but because the destruction of one would automatically be the destruction of the other. If that wasn't so, Galdon would've been dead a long time ago. They drifted down inback of the group of scouts without any one noticing them. Calbrom raised an iron wand he had, and aimed it for the scout with the long black hair. He looked to Galdon to see what he would do. Galdon did not aim at Sailor Jupiter, instead he aimed at a short one with two meatballs on her head. Softly, they chanted a word that wasn't to be said in this world or any other. Lightning flew out at both their sticks, and struck the targets square in the back. The scouts didn't notice anything until Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars fell back and lay unconscious. Tuxeedo Mask turned around, looking for the culprit that did that to his beloved. What he saw where two men dressed in dull brown suits and slacks smiling widly. He threw a dozed of razor like roses at them. The two men just laughed and twirled their iron sticks. The roses bounced off without a farm done. The taller of the two mumbled something incoherent and threw what looked like a large nail straight for him. Tuxeedo Mask raised his cloak, sheilding himself from the pointed object. The nail penetrated the cloak and into his arm. He grimaced as he felt something hot blend into his blood. He doubled over and also lay unconscious. The remaining scouts all saw this and was either angry or scared. Sailor Venus started to draw her Love Me Chain out, but wasn't fast enough. Another nail went sailing through the air and struck her belly. She fell over unconscious. Sailor Mercury and Sailor Jupiter ran behind a tree and tried to think of something to do. Luna was sitting perched up on the tree right behind the two brothers. As soon as Galdon raised his hand to throw a nail aimed for Mercury, she lept down and scratched him on the arm. Galdon threw the small cat across the ground where she hit the end of a ferris wheel. Artemis lept to see if Luna was alright. Calbrom saw a tail of blue satin coming out of a tree. It was Sailor Mercury's bow. He aimed the end of the stick at her, and let the energy go. Black energy shot into Mercury's bow, and into her body. Sailor Mercury let go of Jupiter, and fell to the ground. This really made Sailor Jupiter mad. She came out from behind the tree and showed herself. "You're going to be sorry for that!" she threatened. She readied herself to throw a bolt of lightning or two. "Jupiter Thunder..." She stopped as she saw one of the men dissapear. She looked at the other guy, ready to throw the lighting that was tingling her fingers. Just then, strong arms held her hand back, making her immoble. She kicked, but it was no use. "I got her. Finish her off!" Calbrom, the one holding her shouted. Galdon raised a shaky wand to Sailor Jupiter. Sailor Jupiter saw that Luna gave him a pretty deep cut on the hand with her claws. "Do it!" Calbrom shouted again. Galdon looked at Sailor Jupiter. The look in her eyes looked like a deer trapped in the head lights of an oncoming car. He couldn't get himself to attack her. He just stood there looking at the gorgeous eyes of hers. He had a sudden urge to kiss her. He wanted to kiss ontop of her eyelids, the closest he would ever get to her beautiful innocent eyes. A moment of hesitation was all that she needed. Sailor Jupiter charged herself up, and released her lighting in back of her. "Ahhh! You twit!" Calbrom was cursing now, and he stepped back. It was obvious he was hurt pretty bad. "Let's go!" Galdon looked longingly at Sailor Jupiter. He and his brother dissapeared in a mist of smoke. When Sailor Jupiter was sure they were gone, she went over to her unconcious friends. Sailor Moon was starting to stir. Sailor Jupiter slapped her softly and shouted her name. "Sailor Moon! You have to wake up!" Sailor Jupiter shouted over and over again. Sailor Moon finally woke up, and looked up at Sailor Jupiter. "What happened?" "I'll tell you later. We have to wake the others up too." Sailor Jupiter had better luck waking Sailor Mars. Sailor Moon screamed when she saw Tuxeedo Mask. He was laying in a heap on the floor, with a large looking nail protruding from his arm. Sailor Jupiter tried to calm Sailor Moon down, but it was useless. She kept on screaming. Sailor Mars walked up to Tux and tried to pull the nail from him. With the help of Mars and Jupiter, the nail came out stubbornly. As soon as the nail came out, the wound healed. Tuxeedo Mask slowly came to, and muttered something about a destruction. Sailor Moon calmed down once she saw that Tux was going to be alright. She helped Jupiter and Mars pull the nails out of the others. They all woke up after a while. Sailor Moon stooped to the floor by Tux. "I thought you were going to die." "I would never leave you." Tuxeedo Mask whispered. They kissed each other while the other scouts looked away embarassed. This made Sailor Jupiter miss Ken even more. She couldn't forget the look that one of the men who attacked her had. It was a look of longing and pain. She didn't think anyone could look so pitiful. "Let's help Sailor Moon with the healing." Sailor Mars said. "Moon Healing Activation!" Sailor Moon directed her wand upward. Each of them placed a hand on Sailor Moon, letting the wand absorb their energy. The people in the park slowly started to regain consciousness. It looked like everything was going to be alright. Well that was the seventh chapter. Actually, there is a secret 6 1/2 chapter, but I'm not releasing it yet. It's not quite ready for te public eye. What was Ken dreaming about? What was the mysterious dark object? What will happen between Lita and Don? What happened to Luna? Stay tuned for my next chapter. Jupiter101@hotmail.com You got it this far, why not finish reading it? JUPITER KNIGHT PART VIII That night, when she got home, Lita found a letter from France in her mailbox. Lita knew it was Ken, and tore the envelope open. What she found was a three page letter. She brought it in with her to the bedroom and laid it beside her bed. She took off her clothes and changed into a long shirt. She crawled into bed and read the letter intently. In most of the letter, he said how much he missed her and how much he loved her. She didn't bother to wipe away the tears that stained the letter. When she finished the long letter, she carefully folded it and put it in a drawer next to her bed. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a pile of books. "Might as well do some homework. I don't want to turn into Serena over night." Lita sighed to herself. "Don't want to turn into Ami either." She finished all of the assigned work in less than an hour and flopped tiredly onto bed. When she closed her eyes, instead of seeing Ken, she thought she saw something else. Someone else. It was that guy who attacked her. The one with the look. The sad look that made her want to help. How could anyone so evil have that pitiful look? She tried not to think about it, but the look was haunting. That guy looked so familiar. Lita could've swarn that she saw him somewhere. "I can't believe you! You are a total disgrace!" Calbrom was bandaging his hands. Sailor Jupiter had given him a pretty deep burn. Galdon just looked down at his own hand. It wasn't burned or anything from Sailor Jupiter, but there was a bandage on where the cat had attacked him. "What's wrong with you? Why didn you hesitate?" Galdon looked up at his brother. How evil they both were. Taking energy from humans. He knew it was the only way they would survive. To kill Sailor Jupiter. He didn't know the exact reason why they had to kill her. Calbrom only stated that she was in the way. Tonight, he couldn't get himself to do it. He had seen the way she looked at him. It wasn't a look of hate, it was another look. He hoped she understood him, and why he had to do it. "You are in love with that human aren't you?" Calbrom's voice interupted his thoughts. Galdon looked at his brother's mean scowl. "No." he mumbled. "Liar! You are a liar!" "Yes, I like her a little." Galdon finally admitted. Calbrom brought his hand back and hit his brother hard. "You little idiot. She is our enemy! You cannot do this to me." Galdom winced in pain as his brother took his hand away. "Wrong. She is your enemy. I don't know why. She looks innocent. Why do you hate her?" Calbrom sighed angrily, "Have you forgotten? It is because of her that our people in the future are gone. She is a killer. She destroyed us!" "NO! She did not! We destroyed each other out of greed. You have forgotten. Why do you blame everything on the innocent?" Galdon got up and stomped off to his room. He made a resolution to never become like his brother. He won't try to stop Calbrom, but he won't help him either. "Don't you dare do anything to protect her!" Calbrom shouted after him. Ken's head snapped up. He had been daydreaming in class again. This time, it ws real. He had pictured Lita, no, Sailor Jupiter being attacked by two men. No one was there to help her. She was going to get killed! He couldn't do anything about it. She's going to die! No, Ken told himself. He was imagining again. He had to be. There was no way he could know what was going on all the way in Tokyo. He was jsut hallucinating. Ken nodded, as he drifted off in another daydream. Boom! Ken slid off the chair in class. People all around him was snickering. Lita packed herself a lunch, and grabbed her books. She closed the front door infront of her house, and walked in the direction of the school. She was thinking about what to write to Ken in the letter. She was thinking so hard that she didn't even see the man walking toward her until it was too late. With a bang, she bumped into him and dropped everything. "I'm so sorry. Please accept my apologies, sir." she mumbled as she gathered her lunch and books in one arm. So far, all she could see were the shoes of the man she bumped into. "Don't say you're sorry. It's a poor policy in life to begin every encounter with an apology." the man said and pulled her hand up. Lita knew who it was long before she even got a look at him. She heard that voice somewhere. She got to her feet and looked at him. "I'm sorry, Don." "No need to be. I should have been looking at where I was going anyway." Lita wondered why he was heading the opposite direction of where the school was. "Where were you going? The school is the other way." Don left his hand on her arm, "I was going to see if you were home so I could walk you to school." He said that with ease, as if he said to all the girls. Lita blushed a lot with that comment. "I have to tell you something Don." "Yes?" he said with a questioning tone. "I don't want to jump to conclusions, but I already have a boyfriend." Lita said. She saw the color of his eyes turn sad suddenly. Don looked down. "I see. Who is it?" "He's on a trip out of the country. But I love him very much. I like you too, but only as a friend." Lita said. Liar! she told herself. She liked him more than that and she knew it. "Only and a friend." Don repeated, stressing the word only. "I'm sorry." Lita said truthfully. She really was sorry, but she didn't know for what. "I have to tell you something Lita. Come walk with me." Don led her across the street into a small park. "No we'll be late for class." Lita said, walking the other way. Don firmly gripped her arm, turning serious, "Come with me. Sailor Jupiter." Lita stopped dead in her tracks, the shock showing in her face. "I am not Sailor Jupiter." she said, her voice trembling. She wasn't very convincing. "Don't lie to me. I know who you are. Don't pretend." he led her into the park. Don sat her down on a bench and sat next to her. The boyish charm that use to twinkle in his eyes were gone now. Instead, there was a look of pain. Lita knew that look. She prepared herself to transfrom. "Don't transform. I won't hurt you." Don pleaded. "You hurt my friends." Lita's eyes turned to clod steel. "I won't hurt you!" Don repeated. "I wouldn't do anything to hurt you." "Jupiter..." Don quickly pinned her arms down firmly. Lita couldn't move, which meant she couldn't transform. "Let me go! You're hurting my arms!" Lita shouted. "Listen to me!" Don shouted back, letting Lita a little room to move her arms, but not enought to transform. "I wouldn't do anything to hurt you. I'm sorry about your friends, but I won't do it again. Now listen very carefully. You are in a lot of danger. My brother wants to kill you. He can." "Liar!" Lita screamed. "You have to believe me. My brother is very evil. We are the ones who attacked all those people last night." he released the hold on Lita and walked back. "Be careful of my brother he will kill you." He started a light jog out of the park. Lita stared after him, she didn't know if she should believe him. She was just about to walk out of the park when a dark cloud appeared infront of her. She held her hands up, ready to transform. "Jupiter Star Makeup!" In half a second, she was Sailor Jupiter, and ready to fight. She recognized the man in the cloud. It was the same man that held her to die last night. She prepared a lightning ball for him. As soon as she was charged, she threw it at him. "Weak." Calbrom said. He held a hand out and blocked off the lightning with some sort of forcefield. "Weak just like my brother." "Who are you?" Sailor Jupiter screamed. "Calbrom. You've already met my love-stricken brother Galdon. Don, as you might know him." "Lovestricken?" Sailor Jupiter said. "Stupid. Both of you are stupid. There is no such thing as love. The world is based on greed and lies." Calbrom pointed the end of a metal rod at his opponent. The end started to sparkle, shooting off little flames of some sort. Just as the flame flew to Sailor Jupiter, she ducked out of the way. When she looked back, she saw the flame was following her. She ran as fast as she could, constantly looking back to see the flame still on her tail. She ran straight into Don, or Galdon. She fell to the floor, and watched Galdon raise a hand, forming a forcefield. The same forcefield that Calbrom used to ward off her lighting. The flame hit the force field, but judging by the look on his face, it hit Galdon as well. "Are you okay?" Sailor Jupiter asked as she got up. "Stay down!" he ordered. He withdrew a long thing metal rod, similar to the one Calbrom had. He prepared to fire, when his brother let go of another fireball. He held up another forcefield to protect Sailor Jupiter with. Galdon braced himself for another burning pain. The forcefield could protect him from other things, but never his brother's powers. At least he would be able to keep Sailor Jupiter from getting hurt. As soon as the fireball hit, he shuddered at the burning pain that raced up and down his spine. It made him see flashing stars in his eyes. Galdon summoned up all his power and aimed the metal rod at his brother. He had enough energy to hurt his brother. Galdon was careful not to hurt his brother too badly. A fatal hit would mean both of them would die. "How can you turn against your own brother? Don't you love me?" Calbrom asked with mock sincerity. "There is no love!" Galdon shot a laser into his brother's head. Calbrom stumbled back, and dissapeared in another dark cloud. Galdon knelt down at Sailor Jupiter. "Now do you believe me?" he asked. "Yes." Sailor Jupiter looked down at the burn marks all over Galdon's hands. She felt sorry for him. For a moment she even thought she loved him. No. She would not love any one evil. Was he really evil? She had Ken. They were destined. But she couldn't help this feeling to Galdon. "Do you trust me now?" "I don't know." Sailor Jupiter said sadly. Galdon reached down and caressed her cheeks. How soft her skin was. He was happy he was able to save the soft skin from any burns. "Someday you will..." Galdon said softly. "My love." Sailor Jupiter watched him walk deep into the forest until he dissapeared in a blur. "Aren't you going to school anymore?" she called out when she reverted to her school uniform. "There is no more use. I'm not going to chase you to kill anymore. Be careful of my brother, though." a voice rang out. Lita sighed and looked down at her watch. It was already lunchtime. No use in going to school. She was already too late. Lita made her way home on the deserted street. She was halfway home when a red porshe pulled up beside her. The tinted windows rolled down and Darien's face came out. "Are you suppose to be in school?" he asked. "Yes." Darien saw the way Lita looked. She looked sad and confused. He opened the passanger side door for her and said, "Come in. I'm off work. I think you have something to talk about." Lita didn't know what else to do. She stepped in and sat in silence. They drove for a long time in silence. "Where are we going?" Lita asked, breaking the silence. "My house." Darien answered. "I'll make you some tea." When they got there Lita followed Darien up twelve flights of stairs. She made it up without any complaining. "Wow. Serena usually started complaining on the fifth floor." Darien joked. He let her in and told her to sit on the couch. She sat down and looked around. Everything was very orderly. On the wall was a framed picture of Darien and Serena at the park. They all looked happy and free of worry. Darien walked into the kitchen and rummaged in the cupboards for a while. "Green tea okay?" he called from the kitchen. "Fine." Lita called back. Darien poured some boiling water into the teacups and brought them out. He handed one to Lita, and left the other one on the table. "How's Ken?" he asked. At the mention of his name, Lita's hand trmbled and some of the tea splashed out. She put the cup on the sofa. "He's fine." Lita said shakily. "He wrote to me and said how much he missed me and loved me. And he..." Lita broke down crying. She never cried so easily. She didn't know why she would start now. Darien handed her a tissue and waited for her to continue. Lita just sobbed quietly into the tissue. Darien saw that she wasn't going to continue. "Lita. What's wrong?" he asked as he handed her another tissue. "Nothing." Lita cried harder. "You can't say nothing is wrong when you're crying as hard as this. Whatever's making you cry so hard must be bad." Darien said. "It is." "What is?" Lita looked up at him with red rimmed eyes. "I think I love someone else." Darien was shocked. She thought that Lita and Ken would be forever. It was destiny. He didn't mention the destiny part, since sometimes it could be a neusance. "What do you mean? I thought you love Ken?" "I do. But I love someone else." Lita said, "I'm so confused." "Who is it? It has to be someone really great since it made you this confused." Lita wondered if she should tell him. Usually, she discussed these things with Ken, but since he wasn't here and it involved Ken, she didn't know who to talk to. "You can tell me. I'm not going to beat them up or anything." Darien said. Lita sighed. "You know those two men who attacked last night?" Darien could ony nod. Please don't let it be one of them, he hoped. "While you were all unconscious, the short one caught me. He ordered the other one to shoot at me, kill me. I waited for him to do that, but he didn't. You should have seen the look in his eyes. It was so sad. He looked like he didn't want to do it. He looked so pitiful. That was the chance I got to zap the short one." Lita said. "Is that who you love?" Darien interupted. "Well," Lita started. TO BE CONTINUED.... WHAT'S SHE GOING TO SAY? JUPITER KNIGHT PART IX Previously, Lita and Darien were discussing something very important. Lita admitted that she loved someone other than Ken. "Is that who you love?" Darien asked. "Well, I'm not done yet." Lita continued, "This morning, as I was walking to school, I met up with Don. You know the new guy at our school." Good, at least it's not that guy who attacked last night, Darien thought silently. Lita was still talking, "He was acting kind of funny. Like he wanted to get with me. I told him I already had a boyfriend. He looked sad and had these puppy dog eyes. We were still walking towards school. He stopped and pulled me to the park. He said he had something really important to do. I told him to tell me later and that we had to get to school." "Then what happened?" "He said, 'Come with me, Sailor Jupiter.' I said I wasn't Sailor Jupiter and he told me to stop pretending. I followed him to the park. I was about to transform, but he pinned my arms down. He told me that his brother was after me." "Why would his brother be after you?" Darien was confused. "Don't you get it? Don and his brother are the two that were taking the energy!" Lita cried. "He warned me about his brother." "Don and one of those guys do look alike." Darien commented. "Don walked away, leaving me there. I saw this wierd cloud that turned into the short guy that was there last night. He started attacking me. Don came back, protected me, but in the process, he hurt himself. He's not as bad as you think. He saved my life. The short guy was going to kill me! He busted his own brother to save me. He called me his love!" Lita blurted it all out, new tears spilling down. Darien gave her another tissue and though a while. This was a tough problem. He knew that Lita went for every guy that saved her, helped her, or did something nice to her. So far, it wasn't as bad as this. Ever since she and Ken got together, she's been in love with him only. It was destiny that guided them together, and if things went right, they were suppose to stay together. He didn't know what to do. Finally, he gave an answer, "Is it love or is it gratitude?" Lita looked at him with tear filled eyes, "I don't know it's so confusing. I know that it's destiny that me and Ken stay together, but sometimes, I can't stand it when my whole life is laid out in front of me." "I know what you mean." Darien said. "I still love him." "I know." Just then, Serena walked in. She looked at Darien, sitting with Lita. Then she looked at Lita, in tears and head hung low. She sat next to Lita, looking confused. "Why aren't you in school?" she said. "Why aren't you?" Darien asked. "We were attacked. One of those creeps from last night came and just started zapping all these girls. The scouts didn't have a chance to do anything because the other one, the better looking one started fighting him." Serena said in one exhale. "Is he alright?" Lita looked up. "Who?" "The better looking guy." "Yeah, he got pretty banged up, but the short guy backed out. Isn't it wierd how they turned on each other?" Serena wondered. "Tell me what's worng Lita?" The other scouts walked in, and saw Lita there with Serena and Darien. Lita once again had to explain everything, including the thing about Don. Darien, who had heard this already had started to drift off sleeping. "Darien! Wake up you lazy bone!" Serena screamed in his ear. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ @@@@@@@@@ That night, Lita sat in bed thinking. She thought about how much she still loved Ken, and she thought of what Darien asked her. Was it love or gratitude. She was sure that she felt some love to Don. He had seen so loveless. Next to her bed was a sealed envelop containing a letter she had written to Ken. She would mail it the next morning. Lita jumped when she heard tapping at her window. At first she thought it was just a bird, since her apartment was on the third floor. She cancelled that thought, since she knew that the birds didn't do those things at night. Lita slipped on a robe and walked cautiously to the window. She screamed when she lifted up the curtains to see what it was. Don was looking back at her. He pulled the windows open and stepped in. "What are you doing here?" she asked, clutching her robe close. "Hurry. You have to leave here! My brother's coming for you." Don grabbed for her hand. "Wait, let me dress." "No time. Come with me." Don pulled her to the window. "We can't jump. We'll break a bone." "No I can fly. Come, time is running out. He's on wis way right now!" Don stepped out of the window, floating in the air. Lita looked down nervously, and clutched at Don. He grabbed her around the waist and slowly floated down. When Lita felt the ground beneath her, she stopped holding him so tightly. He let go and led her running. The two of them ran into the park where it was dark and no one could find them. They finally reached there, Lita out of breath. Don sat her down on the grass, "Take a break. We can't stay here. Once Calbrom finds out I took you, he'll start hunting everywhere for you." "Is Calbrom your brother, Don?" Lita said breathlessly. "Yes. I think you should know that my name isn't Don. It's Galdon. I had to change it so I could pretend to be an average human." Galdon said. "You guys aren't human?" "No. Not exactly. We are the next step in evolution. Follow me. I'll tell you whatever you want to know later. We have to find somewhere to hide first." Once again, they were running away. Lita hated to run away. Her style was to stay and fight till the end, yet she knew that this incident was different. If she stayed and fought it out, there would be no chance. She didn't know where she was going, but all she knew was that she was getting there fast. Lita was surprised at how long she could keep this running up. They reached the stairs into a house. It was more of a cottage. From the outside, it looked as if there was no more than one or two rooms. The grass outside of it were mostly wild weeds. "Where are we?" Lita asked. "My house." Gadon walked toward the door and opened it. He had moved out after his brother had threatened to disown him. He found this little cottage all by himself. He let Lita in, embarassed by the mess everything was in. He went to a small desk pushed back into the corner. On it was a plane ticket for Lita. He had to get her out of here as fast as he can. Calbrom was going to be looking for her soon. It wasn't safe to stay here. Galdon picked up the tickets and handed them to Lita. "What is this?" Lita asked, curious at the dark papers in her hands. "It's a plane ticket out of here. Do you family who live in other parts of the world? Go there." Galdon said. "No. I have no family." Lita bowed her head sadly at the thought of her late parents. "You have to get as far away from this place as possible." "My boyfriend is in France." Galdon cringed at the thought of Lita and another man. He sighed and said, "Go to him." "I can't" Lita blushed. "Why not?" "I hate planes. Personal reasons. Please don't make me go on one." "You have to." "No." "Go! It's your only chance." Galdon was getting imaptient. It wouldn't be long now. "Don! Galdon, I can't. I can't just leave all my friends behind." Lita begged. "Here." Galdon shoved a crunched up piece of paper in her hand. Lita opened it and tried to read what it was. It was the letter Ken wrote to her. "What?" "The return address is on it. I'll take you to the airport. You can find your way from there." Galdon said firmly. Lita's hands went absently at the silk tie that she tied around her wrist as a reminder of Ken, Jupiter Knight. She didn't say anything, just followed Galdon out onto a motorcycle partly hidden by the overgrown bush. "Hop on." Galdon said as he got in front. Lita got in back, looking for some sort of seatbelt. Obviously there was none. "I'm going to fall off." she said. "Hold on to me." Galdon's voice cracked when he said that. Lita slid her arms nervously around his waist and held on tight. "Can you take me back to my apartment? I want to get some things." "You better hurry." With a low growl of the motorcycle, they sped off toward Lita's house. They reached the house in a few minutes, considering the speed they were going. Lita hopped off quickly and made her way up the winding stairs. She had a bad feeling as she reached the top. Her door was open, she could see inside. Everything was a mess. She saw that all her picture frames were broken, the pictures inside burned. Her desk looked searched through. On it was a piece of paper, in wide black letters, it said: I WILL FIND YOU. She went into her bedroom and saw her bed was upturned, the sheets were ripped and the contents on her nightstand were thrown on the floor. Her perfume bottles shattered. Lita forced herself to remain calm. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly. They were only possesions. Things that didn't mean anything. At least her friends were okay. She took out a small duffle bag and threw some clothes in it. She didn't know what the weather would be so she took a large jacket with her. As she was quickly packing, she didn't hear Galdon come in. Tears fell onto her clothes. Galdon was so sorry for this girl, who had no family. He saw she was crying. He went up behind her and put his arms around her. She didn't do anything, just stood there crying. "I'm so sorry." Was all Galdon could say. He didn't know what else to say. Lita turned around and put her face against his warm chest. She was staining his shirt with her tears, but she couldn't help it. "All my prized possesions. All my pictures! They're ruined." Galdon hugged her tighter. She was trembling now. She sobbed hard into his shirt. Then, after a few minutes, she stood up straight, looking at him with a tear streaked face. She wiped the tears away and faced her duffle bag. When she thought she brought everything she needed, quietly, she walked out of the room. Galdon followed her. He saw all the damage his brother had done and hated him for it. What was this thing that was making him so evil, so full of hatred. Lita took one more look around and sighed. "I guess we should go." Galdon took the duffle bag from her hand and carried it for her. Lita locked the door and walked down the stairs. When the bag was secured onto the motorcycle, she got on after Galdon. She put her arms around him and they sped to the airport. On the way to the airport, Lita cried softly, tears blowing into the wind. Before she knew it, they were infront of the airport parking lot. She had to face the fear. She got off slowly, reaching for the bag. "I got it." Galdon said and reached it before her. "Thank you." "It's the least I can do." Galdon walked into the revolving doors. "Did you get your ticket?" "Yes." she was still clutching it in her hand. Galdon took it and gave it to a man who looked like he worked there. The man pointed down a long hall. They walked down, until they reached the door that led into the plane. Lita looked out the large windows at the plane. It looked big and scary. She felt someone put a hand on her shoulder. She turned and looked into those wide aqua eyes. She couldn't believe that once, those eyes were so evil. If they once were evil, it can again be evil in a second. Lita shuddered at the thought. Looking into his eyes again, she saw that he loved her. She wasn't sure if she loved him back, the way he wanted. Is it love or gratitude? Darien's voice echoed into her ears. I love you. Ken's voice entered her mind. My love, Galdon's voice broke through. She put an arm around him and hugged him tightly. She couldn't decide if she really loved him. He put the bag down and took her in his strong arms. He never felt so much love for anyone before. She was the first person who made him feel this way. Living an evil life full of greed and lies, all changed because of her. Yet, he knew she didn't love him as much as the one named Ken. He couldn't understand why she would choose a human over him. He sighed. "Thank you so much. I'll never forget all this." Lita whispered, looking up at him. She was tall, but just a few inches shorter than he was. She fingered a strand of his platinum blonde hair. It was smooth and soft. "Good bye." Was all he could think of to say. He wanted to saw all the things in his mind, but he didn't want to make this hard for her. To his surprise, she placed a sweet kiss on his cheek. He wanted more. Galdon fiddled with a strand of loose hair that hung from her ponytail. Nothing was ever as soft. The closest thing was pure silk. He leaned down and placed his mouth over her small lips. It was like kissing an angel. He could hardly tell she was there, but it was heaven. She leaned harder on him, kissing him back. Lita wasn't sure why she was kissing him back, but she knew one thing, it made him happy. Ken's face popped into her mind. She immediatly pulled away, feeling guilt like a poison sting every part of her body. Galdon looked at her. "Goodbye, Galdon." Lita said softly, picked up her bag and walked towards the door. She handed her ticket to the airline clerk. "I'll let you know when to come back." Galdon called after her. Lita waved and walked into the plane. She stopped dead when she saw how small it was from the inside. Immediatly, she felt claustrophobic. She walked back outside, almost reaching the door out of the plane. Galdon was waiting, with a stern face. "Go." he mouthed. She turned back, and walked back in. She took a seat in the middle aisle. She sat down and looked around nervously. Everyone seemed to be looking at her. Lita looked down at her bag. There was something taped on it. She picked it up. It was a note folded to the size of a lemon. She read it: Thank you for making me feel like this. What I have done isn't as nearly enough for what you have done. You have showed me love. Lita took it, folded it and put it into her bag, smiling. Galdon stood staring as the plane took off. He didn't want Lita to go, knowing that she'll find Ken, and realize that she didn't really love him. He had to. For once, he's not going to think about himself and do something good to others. Ken woke up, confused. It was still dark. He turned in his bed, shoked when something poked his leg. He looked down and saw it was the sword Jupiter Knight had. A closer look showed that he had somehow transformed in his sleep. He concentrated and his clothes turned into his normal pajamas. If you love her, let her go. If she loves you, she will come back. Ken thought about that. Would Lita come back? Would she come back? What about Galdon? Who is Lita going to chose? She hated the confinement of the plane. She had this urge to scream, but she didn't. The two elderly people who sat on both sides of her kept pretty much to themselves. She was sure that if she spoke to them, they wouldn't understand her, since they were speaking in a forein language to her. She was glad that she took French class last year. At least she'll be able to read road signs and communicate. She checked her watch. Three more hours to go, then she'll be able to see Ken. Galdon was sleeping when he heard sharp knocking on the door. He got up sleepily and opened the door. He looked at the angry face of Calbrom, his brother. "You fool." he said and pushed him out of the way. "Where is she? Where are you hiding her?" "She's not here." Galdon simply stated. "Where is she?" "You don't know?" Galdon asked in a mock innocent voice. "You are a total disgrace! Do you know how long it took me to track her down? All that work, wasted!" Calbrom shouted. "Why not just give up on her?" "You spend too much time with the humans. You are learning to forgive. I will not! She is going to die. Then we can return to a better future, with humans as our slaves!" Calbrom looked around, looking for some clue that would tell him where the girl was. "Get out of here." Galdon said in a steely tone. "I will be back, with the corpse of the girl. The girl you love. Then, you will feel the pain. I promise you." Calbrom dissapeared in a cloud of smoke. "Where ever you are, I hope you're okay, Lita." Galdon whispered. Lita picked her duffle bag up and took a deep breath. She walked off of the plane. She was so happy that she could have kissed the ground. She made it. All alone on a plane! She went into one of the airport shops and bought a map. She was glad she had brought her traveler's checks. Outside, she sat down and studdied the map. If her translation was correct, then that meant Ken was staying in a house a couple of streets from the Eifle Tower, to the south. She looked up and saw the Eifle Tower in the distance. She figured out which way was south, and walked toward the tower. "Wow!" Lita said outloud. She was standing below the Eifle Tower. Judging by the sun, it was probably near noon. Tourists were everywhere, taking pictures, buying souveneirs. Lita had no time for that. She walked in the direction she hoped was south. Soon, she came to a street sign that was on Ken's envelope. She looked down the street at the row of apartments. She slowly walked, looking for the right number. When she found it, she stood in the doorway, not sure what to do. What would he do if I just show up like this? Lita thought. She got up the courage to ring the bell. There was no answer. She rung it again. No one. Am I on the wrong doorstep? Lita thought. She was about to ring it again when she heard someone shouting from inside. The voice shouted something, and from what Lita could understand, it meant they were coming. She heard the sound of some locks being unlocked, and the door swung open. In the doorway stood a woman maybe in her fifties. She looked like a nice person, there were wrinkles near her eyes, which showed when she smile. The woman stood there smiling at her. "Oui?" the woman asked. (yes?) Lita wasn't that well with French, so she hoped the lady spoke a little English. "Bon-jour. Do you speak English?" Lita asked in a tone full of clarity. She said that very slowly. "Yes I do." the woman said in almost perfect English. "I'm probably in the wrong place, but I was wondering if there is a guy named Ken staying here?" Lita asked. "Why yes, there is. He is with my boy Marcus in school. Why do you ask?" the woman asked surprised. "I'm a friend of Ken's and it's very important that I see him." Lita said. The woman stepped out of the doorway and indicated that Lita should come in. "I'm Juliana Rojou. You are?" "Lita Kino." Lita said politely. "Nice to meet you." "Make yourself at home. I was just about to pop my pie in the oven." Juliana walked to what seemed like the kitchen. "Are you just a friend, or a girlfriend?" Juliana asked. Lita was surprised to be asked that. She hesitated, thinking of what to say. "I'm being nosy. I am sorry. Forgive me." Juliana apologized. "It's okay. Yes, I'm his girlfriend." Lita said. "Come into the kitchen and have some lunch. I am sure the boys will be back in a couple of hours." Lita walked into the kitchen and sat down at the table where Juliana sat. "Mrs. Rojou, is Ken alright?" "Please, call me Juliana. I do not want to feel any older than I am." she said. "Ken is fine. He's doing good in school, adapting to the language fairly well." "Good." Lita tried to stiffle a yawn, but it came out. "Sorry." she said. Juliana gestured to a doorway. "Why don't you take a nap. The boys won't be back until four." "I shouldn't" "Please." Juliana was being too kind. "Thank you." Lita took her bag and walked into the bedroom. There was a bunkbed pulled back to the wall and clothes everywhere. This must be where they sleep, Lita thought. It was a messy room. She chose the bottom bunk and flopped down on it. Juliana appeared in the door way, "Would you like anything? Lunch first?" "No. I'm not hungry. Thank you, though." Lita answered. Juliana closed the door, letting her sleep. At ten minutes to four, Lita woke up. At first, she was startled at the surroundings, then things became clearer. She remembered where she was and what she was doing here. She got up, made the bed and glanced at herself in the mirror. Her hair was disheveled. The hair had comed out of a pony tail and was sticking up. She took out a brush from her bag and let the hair down. She brushed it for a while and looked at the clock. Four o clock. She came out of the room and looked around. Everything in the house was still. She could here people outside, probably kids walking home from school. She walked into the kitchen and found Juliana washing dishes. "Did you have a nice nap?" Juliana asked, without looking up. "Yes. Would you like me to help with anything?" Lita asked. "No, I'm almost done. There is some hot coffee on the table, help yourself." Lita sat down, facing a window that showed the scenery in back of the apartment. She poured some coffee into a small cup and stared at it. She prefered tea, but this was okay. The coffee was steaming hot, so she set it down to cool. "They should be coming in any minute now." Juliana said. There was a doorbell chiming that almost made Lita jump off her seat. She suddenly needed the coffee to calm her nerves. She reached for it and took long sips, enjoying the bittersweet taste. "Ma! Open the door. I forgot my keys!" a voice Lita didn't recognize called. "That's my boy, Marcus." Juliana explained as she walked out of the kitchen to open the door. Lita took another long sip from the coffee cup. Ken waited for Juliana to open the door. This was not the first time Marcus forgot his keys. Good thing she was always home, or they would be locked out until nightfall. He heard the jingling of some locks and a snap of the door knob. "Don't need to yell, Marcus. I am not deaf yet!" Juliana said as a greeting. She opened the door to let them in. "Okay, Ma." "How was your day, Ken?" Juliana asked. "Fine thank you." Ken was alway polite. Juliana looked in the kitchen. "There is a young lady in the kitchen waiting for you, Ken." she said. Marcus raised his eyebrows questioning, as he followed Ken in. He almost fell over him, since Ken stopped in the doorway. Ken stopped when he saw her. The first thing he recognized was her chestnut brown hair. Although it was down, he knew who it was. He felt Marcus run into him. "Sorry." Marcus whispered. "Who is that? Don't just stand there." "Lita?" Ken said. Slowly, Lita got up, put her cup down, and turned around. She stared at him for what seemed like an eternity. He was feeling uncomfortable under the intense gaze. It was as if she was analyzing him. "Ken!" She ran up and hugged him. He hugged her tightly, realizing how much he missed this embrace. He wanted to hug her so tight, but didn't want to hurt her. "What are you doing here?" Ken asked soflty, so only she could hear. Lita's lips brushed his ears gently as she whispered, "Trouble." That one word made him freeze. Was she in danger? Where were the others? Are they alright? All these unspoken questions loomed in his eyes. Marcus coughed. Ken turned around, looking at their expectant eyes. "This is Lita, my girlfriend." he introduced. "Lita, this is Marcus. I guess you've already met Juliana." "Nice to meet you Marcus." Lita extended her hand and he shook it. "I'll go show Lita around. I'll be back around six." Ken ushered Lita outside. "Bye." Lita called over her shoulder to Marcus and his mother. The waved back. Lita walked beside Ken, none of them speaking. Then, they spoke at the same time, "I missed you." Lita drew closer to Ken, and he put an arm around him. Her body felt cool against his. She shivered. "Are you cold?" Ken asked. "No." she lied. Ken didn't believe her and took off his jacket for her. He slipped it on her shoulders and held her tightly. They were in the middle of a small park, deserted by everyone. Ken held her against him and felt her heartbeat match his. Lita looked up at him with her bright emerald eyes that also hid shadows of trouble. Ken placed his lips softly on hers, waiting for her to respond. Lita returned the kiss and forgot all her worries. He always did that. He made her think of nothing but him. Lita drew apart, but still stayed in his arms. "What?" Ken whispered, his breath brushing against her cheeks. She was more than glamorous. She was heavenly, a goddess, the princess of his life. Something was troubling her, he could tell. Her usually clear eyes were now clouded with something mysterious. Lita didn't say anything, just looked at him. His chestnut brown eyes that matched her hair perfectly. She was trying to decide how she was attracted to two men, two different men. Galdon had pale blue eyes, like crystal. Galdon's eyes were puzzling, all his feelings usual hidden in them. Sometimes, his blue eyes even scared her. It was as if he could look into her soul, but she still like him. Loved him? Ken's brown eyes were warm and happy. She could look in and see what he was feeling, thinking. They were suppose to stay together forever, destiny. Where did Galdon fit in? Ken led her to a bench and let her sit. He sat next to her, close enough to hear her stiffle a sob. "Lita? What's wrong? You can tell me." Ken pleaded. Lita felt tired. She laid down and put her head on his lap, so she could look into her eyes and he could see into hers. "This is going to be a long story." "I have the time." Ken said softly. "Okay, here goes..." Lita told him the story, leaving out the part about her feelings for Galdon. Ken was holding Lita by the time she finished the story. She was half sobbing, half crying at the same time. "Lita, don't cry." Ken soothed. "You know I'll be here for you. I won't let anything happen to you. Don't worry, I won't let them get you." "No. Just forget about me." Lita pleaded. She didn't want him to risk her lofe for her. Especially since she still cared for Galdon. "You know I can't do that. I have to protect you." Ken said. "No. You can't it's too dangerous. They're too powerful." Lita got up, not wanting him to find out about her feelings for Galdon. Ken got up behind her and slipped her arms around her. He knew she was hiding something. He also knew that she would tell him eventually. They never kept secrets from each other. "Lita. You're not telling me something." He said softly into her ear. "I can't, not now. I'm not ready." Lita admitted. Ken let go, and walked to a rose bush. He picked a rose, and handed it to her. "You can tell me when you're ready. I'll be there for you. I love you." Lita gushed out more tears, trying to stop. Why did he have to say that? Why was love so hard? Ken wondered why she was crying so hard. Didn't she love him anymore? Why didn't she answer him with "I love you too"? "Come on, it's getting late. I'll bring you to a hotel." Ken took her hand and started walking back to the apartment. By the time they had reached the apartment, Lita had gotten control and wasn't crying anymore. She still looked sad, but forced herself to smile. The door opened, and she saw Marcus and Juliana sitting and reading. "Hi." Ken said, "I'm back." "Hello." Lita said quietly. "Juliana, do you know of any good hotels that Lita can stay in?" Ken asked. "Well," Juliana said thoughtfully, "how long is she staying?" "I guess more than a week or two." Lita answered for herself. "Then you should go to a boarding house." "What's that?" Ken asked. "It's a house with an extra room. Usually, people rent the extra room. It's not as expensive as a hotel, and it's a lot homey." Juliana explained. "There is one right down the street. Mrs. Borja lives there she is renting it out. Why don't you take the young lady there?" "Thank you. I will." Ken said, then turned to Lita, "Did you bring your things?" "I'll get them, they're in the bedroom." Lita went to fetch her beg. "Tell her to come for dinner after she settles in." Juliana whispered to Ken, "She looks like a nice girl." Lita came out with a big duffle bag, and a purse. "Let me help you with that." Ken said, and took the bag. Juliana wrote down the address and handed it to Ken, then she said goodbye to Lita, and went into the kitchen. "Bye." Lita said to Marcus. "Good-bye." Lita followed Ken to the boarding house. She trailed behind him two steps and tried to sort out her feelings. Ken was trying to figure out what was wrong with Lita. Why was she so sad all of a sudden? They reached the boarding house in less than ten minutes. Ken knocked on the door and quickly, it swung open. An old woman stood there smiling. They exchanged some words, in French so that Lita could not understand. When Lita saw Ken take out his wallet, she stopped him, "Wait. I can pay for myself." She put a hand on his arm. "No, I can." Ken said. Lita sighed, it was always this way with Ken. It wasn't that he was sexist, but he always insisted to pay for her. On dates, to the movies, even on trips. "How much?" she asked. Ken finally gave in, "Ten dollars a week." Lita took out her purse and handed the money to the old woman. She had a peek into the wallet, and saw that she only had ten more dollars left. Good thing I brought the credit card, Lita thought. Her credit card would be exchanged for more money. Ever since her parent died, her rich uncle from somewhere supported her. He sent her a credit card and said to use it for anything she needed. Not once was a bill mailed to her. The old woman let them in, showing them to the second floor of the house. There were two bathrooms, one for Lita, and the other for the old woman. Lita still didn't know her name. The woman opened a bedroom door and told her that this was where she would stay. The room wasn't small, but wasn't huge either. It was almost the same size as Lita's room back home. Ken set the bag on the bed and turned to Lita. "Like it?" "Love it." The old woman left the two of them alone. She slowly shuffeled back to the first floor. "Would you like to come for dinner?" Ken asked. "No, I couldn't" "Please? Juliana told me to invite you." "So you're not inviting me on your own? How rude." Lita joked. They both laughed together. This was the Lita that Ken knew. The Lita that was always happy and funny. He missed the old Lita. "You know what I mean." Ken said. "Yeah, but not today. I just want to get some sleep. Don't worry. I can cook for myself remember?" "Okay. See you, real soon." Ken was about to leave. "Ken?" Lita sounded desperate. "Yeah?" "No, never mind." Lita was about to tell him the whole thing, but decided not to. TO BE CONTINUED? E-mail me: Jupiter101@hotmail.com I'm trying to finish this series, since it's getting long. Maybe I'll try to get the ending in this chapter. Sailor Moon is copyrighted by Naoko Takeuchi. Comments and flames go to me at Jupiter101@hotmail.com ABOUT THE STORY: For those who are wondering, I'll tell you why Calbrom and Galdon were trying to kill Jupiter. The brothers were from the future, where their people are suffering. The aren't from Earth actually, but fled there to find peace. The came from another planet, were times are rough. There are ruins everywhere and everyone of their people are full of greed and more greed. Calbrom is convinced that Sailor Jupiter is the cause of this since the closest planet to them is Jupiter and that planet is prosperous and everything is at peace. Out of greed, they try to go there and steal some of the peace, but was kicked out and banned from there. On Earth, they plot to get revenge. They learn that the Sailor Scouts of the past was weaker than they are in the future. Actually, no one caused the brother's planets to riot, except themselves and their greedy people. Jupiter Knight XI By Lady Jupiter The cool breeze fluttered the opaque curtains on the window. Lita got up and took in the air. It was different from the air back home. There was a fresh scent to it, almost like a foreign scent. She stretched out all the kinks in her neck and heard some bones crack. "I didn't know I was so tired." Lita spoke to herself. She went into the bathroom to clean up and to take a shower. By the time she finished the shower, she heard a knock at the door. "Yes?" she called trying to dry her hair. "It's me, there is a young man at the door for you," a thick French accent called out. "I'll be right down." Lita hurriedly threw some clothes on and tied her hair back. She opened the door and hopped down the steps. She opened the front door and looked out. "Hello?" Lita called out. She stepped around and looked for who it was. Two hands grabbed her from the back. "Hey!" Lita screamed, but her scream was muffled by a hand. She tried to bite the hand, but was stopped. "Don't even think about it." the man whispered in her ear. Lita knew that voice, that steely voice that sometimes could cut through glass. "Galdon?" Lita asked, trying to turn around. "That's me." "Let me go." Galdon released the hold on Lita and took her into an alley. Lita faced him, "What are you doing here? Did you see my friends? How is it back home?" "One question at a time. Everything at home is fine. Your friends at home are fine, but they don't believe me that I didn't do anything to you." Galdon smiled, reaching for her hand. "What are you doing here?" She repeated. "I just wanted to see you." Galdon took her hand in his. Lita took her hand away, backing up. "I can't do this. You know that I have a boyfriend. Why can't we just be friends?" "I don't want to be just friends, and I don't know how you could choose anyone over me. I can give you everything." Galdon said sadly. "I'm going in now." Lita said. Galdon didn't reply, he just walked farther into the alley. Lita turned around slowly and walked out of the alley. When she turned to go back to the house, she saw in the distance, Ken walking toward her. "Not now." Lita's mind called out. She wasn't ready for this. She just wanted to sit in her room and think. "Hi." Ken called when he got close enough. "Hi yourself." "What's wrong?" "Nothing." "You want to go somewhere? Sight-seeing? Shopping?" Ken asked. "Why aren't you in school?" "It's Saturday." "Oh." Ken looked down at her, feeling like she was hiding something from him. "Something's wrong. Tell me. What happened?" Lita's eyes started to water, but she forced herself not to cry. She looked up at Ken, her mentor. Ever since they were small, they told each other everything. She tried so hard to be like him. He never let anything get him down. Whenever he fell off the horse, he would get back up. "Ken-" she started. No, this is not right. This isn't suppose to happen, her mind yelled at her. Yet, her mouth opened, saying the words that burned when they left, and stung Ken's heart. "I I think I love someone else." Ken winced, every word was like an arrow piercing through his heart. He wasn't hearing right. They were destined to be together, this shouldn't be happening, he thought. "Who?" Ken asked, not really wanting to know. It wouldn't matter now, it couldn't get any worse. "Galdon, one of the brothers." Lita said. Ken was wrong, it could get worse. Lita liked someone from the other side, someone who use to be evil and full of hatred. "Don't try to tell me he's still evil. I had that conversation earlier with Darien." Said Lita, looking closely at him. It seemed that the mask he wore, the mask that sheilded out all the bad had slipped. He was no longer Mr. Tough Guy, that didn't let anything get him down. In his eyes, Lita could see pain, and a fire burning in him. "Lita, I-" Lita stepped closer to him, "Hit me if you want, get mad, yell. Don't hold it inside." Ken wanted to him something, but not her. "You know I can't hit you. I can never get mad at you. I can't even stop loving you." "But-" "Lita, you cursed me with your love. I can't help but say that." Ken started walking away, faster each second. "Ken!" Ken ran faster heading for no where. "Ken, I'm sorry!" Lita called out after him. Her tears were flowing freely now, hot and stinging to her eyes. Ken ran until he was out of breath, and looked around. Everything was different. He had a strange feeling he wasn't in France any more. "Where am I?" he called out. He sat on the dirt, trying to sort out his thoughts. Lita said she loved someone else. No, she said she THOUGHT she loved someone else. Galdon, she THOUGHT she loved him. Ken had a sudden urge to strike something, to destruct something. "Jupiter Power!" Ken shouted. The magic surged through his body, almost electricuting him. In half a second, he was standing as Jupiter Knight. He got his hands ready to hit something. He saw a wall in the distance, a long wall. Everything else stretched to the horizon was as flat as the floor. The only thing standing out was that wall. He saw no people, only him, alone, standing under the purple skies. He ran toward the wall, which was more than a while away. "Faster!" he called to himself. To his surprise, his feet where no longer touching the ground. He was flying. "What the-?" he said. Faster and faster, he cut through the air and ended up right infront of the wall. Jupiter Knight tried to get back on the floor, and succeeded after a few times. He almost felt sorry for the wall right now. He took a swing and hit the wall. Jupiter Knight winced as the blood slowly dripped from his bruised knuckles. He felt worse physically, but felt better emotionally. This was what he always did, he hit some hard object, preferably a wall when he got mad. It was more satisfying than yelling back. He looked back at the wall, hardly bruised, or cracked. It seemed to be mocking him. Almost like Galdon, mocking that he now had Lita in the palm of his hand. Jupiter Knight got his hands ready for some real destruction. "Lightning Rings..." he said, feeling his power building. He raised his hands up, pointing his palm to the wall, "Bash!" The minute the last word left his mouth, he felt the rings shoot forward from his hands at the wall. A great deal of smoke and debris flew about, and he sheilded himself with a cape. When he looked again, he got even madder. The wall was still there, taunting him. "Get ready to die." Jupiter Knight growled, as if he was talking to Galdon. "Swords of Jupiter, I summon you." Jupiter Knight felt a sword at each hand, ready to use. "Lighting and Thunder will Clash!" he raised the two swords above his head, powering it up, careful not to let them touch each other. He aimed, then clashed the swords together. As soon as the two metals touched, a boom shot from the sky. The crash of thunder hit his sword and shot to the wall. Finally, Jupiter Knight was standing in front of the remains of the wall. Finally, he was satisfyed. "Are you done?" a throaty voice said from in back of him. Jupiter Knight automatically held his swords at a deffence stance as he turned. "Put your guard down, I mean you no harm." The figure was shadowed by a cloud. "Only if you show me who you are." The figure stepped out from the shadow, and revealed their true form. "Sailor Pluto." Jupiter Knight said. "Yes, you remeber me." "From my dream." "Yes. Now that you have calmed down from the destruction, I have something to remind of you." Sailor Pluto leaned on her time key. "What?" "If you love her, let her go. If she loves you, she will come back." These words seemed to echo the whole world. "But what if she doesn't come back?" Jupiter Knight asked, "Can you assure me that she'll come back?" "She will come back only if she is let go and realizes she loves you." Sailor Pluto started to walk off. "Wait, where am I?" "Home." With that, Ken involuntarily transformed back and was again, standing in France. "Jupiter." he whispered. He looked about. He was about a couple of blocks from where he dissapeared from. He walked back to Lita's boarding room and stopped at the doorstep. Why was he here again? Why? He raised his hand to knock, and the door flew open. Lita threw herself on him, crying like a child. "Ken, I'm sorry. I can't help but feel that way. Is it wrong to love a lot? Is it wrong to love more than one person? I still love you." she sobbed onto his shoulder. Ken let her cry on his shoulder, like he did many times before. He couldn't help but love her. She was like a child, in need of his love. He needed her love too. But he kept his distance, not saying that he loved her still. He needed to let her decide by herself who she loved more, she couldn't have any persuasions. After a few minutes, Lita dried off her tears on a hankerchief she had and looked up at him. Her eyes were asking him a question. What did she want to know? "Do you love me?" Lita asked. If he said 'yes', then she would be his forever. Ken wanted so bad to say yes, but held back. She needed to find out for herself. "Let's go get something to eat and I'll take you shopping." He said instead. "Okay." Lita looked down. He didn't love her anymore. She was sure of it. The two walked side by side down the busy street not really saying much of anything. "How is Serena and the other's?" Ken said, breaking the silence. "Fine. Serena still eats a lot, Mina still flirts, Rei still screams, and Ami still studies." Lita replied. "How about you? Did they do anything to you?" Ken asked, 'they' meaning Galdon and Calbrom. "Just a few bruises from the last fight. Nothing serious." "We're here." Ken walked into a cozy little restruant on the corner of the street. Like a gentleman, he pulled out a chair for Lita before sitting down. "Thank you." "What would you like?" Ken asked, looking up from the menu. "What do you recommend?" "Don't ask me, I'm not a waiter." Ken objected. "I guess I'll have raveoli." "Good choice. I'll have a salad and a side of french fries!" Ken joked. When Lita realized what was funny, she cracked up. The waiter came behind her, looking bored and uniterested. "What would madam and monsiuer like today?" he said in a sugar coated accent. "Raveoli for the lady, and salad and fries for me." Ken said. "We do not serve FRENCH FRIES!" the waiter practically yelled. "Then I will have some garlic bread." Ken said calmly. "For a drink?" the waiter asked. "Soda water for me." Ken answered. The waiter turned to Lita, "Por vous?" (for you?) "I would like a glass of lemonade." Lita said. "That will be all?" the waiter asked as a final statement as he left the table, not really expecting an answer. "I think the waiter was rude." Ken smiled. "He is." Lita smiled back. Sometimes, Ken was just so adorable. He was so funny and loving. For the young years of her life, he was like an older brother to her. As they got older, they realized what kind of relationship they had. Lita had loved him so much. She still loved him. What was wrong with her? How could she love Galdon too? "Are you mad at me?" Lita asked shyly. "Why would I be mad at you? I can't ever be mad at you." Ken said between bites. "But-" "Look, your feelings are perfectly natural okay? You can date that guy if you want, it's your life. You know I'll always be your friend." Ken looked up, trying to keep his voice from cracking. He hated the thought of Lita dating someone else, especially someone from the other side. "Okay. If you're okay with it. Are you sure?" Lita wanted to cry. "Yes." Lita concentrated on eating and looked down onto her plate. Did he still love her? she thought. As soon as they finished eating, Ken called a waiter. "Bill?" the waiter asked. "Yes." Ken took his wallet out and counted out the right amount of money. "I will pay for myself." Lita said to the waiter. "Very well." The waiter said. Lita handed him a wallet and then got up. "Where do you want to go now?" Ken asked. "Anywhere." "Shopping?" Ken asked. He knew Lita loved shopping. "I don't think I can. I don't know if I have enough money. I don't want you to buy me anything." Lita said reluctantly. "What about your credit card?" Ken asked. "I can't use the money. It's not mine." Lita refused. "Come on. It's been a long time since I've seen you buy something for yourself. Come follow me, I'll take you on a shopping spree." Ken grabbed Lita's hand and they walked swiftly out of the restruant, leaving a small tip. Ken caught up with a trolly and hauled Lita up. They stood in front of the trolly looking out at the scenes. Ken pointed out all the scenes he knew about. On the third stop, they got off and walked a few yards. Lita came to a stop infront of a huge store. "Wow. What is this place?" Lita asked. "It's the biggest shopping center in France. Let's go in." Ken stepped inside. "Thanks for carrying these things in for me, Ken." Ken set the boxes and bags full of clothes down on Lita's bed. "That's okay. You know how buff I am!" he joked. Lita playfully punched his stomach. Ken caught her wrist and pulled her closer to him. Lita looked up at him, her breath bouncing off of his clothes. She got closer to kiss him. "Let her go." Sailor Pluto's voice haunted Ken's mind. Ken let Lita go, stepping back. He didn't want to do this, to hurt her like this, but it had to be done. "I'll see you tomorrow." Ken said and left in a hurry. "Goodbye." Lita said softly to her empty room. She looked at the clothes she had bought. There were several outfits, some of them dresses. Ken's opinion on all of them was that they were pretty. Lita didn't want him to say that. She wanted him to say they were splendid, enchanting, anything but pretty. Lita was about to try some one when a cloud of haze or fog drifted through her window. "Jupiter..." Lita got ready to transform incase it was danger. "Wait." the fog said. Strange, the cloud talks, Lita thought. In a flash, the cloud turned into a human form. "Galdon?" Lita asked. "Yes, it's me." Galdon said, coming to her. Galdon smiled a smile that could both melt her heart and freeze her soul. He embraced her with his strong arms and took in the scent of her. "Have you told your boyfriend?" he asked. "Told my boyfriend what?" "That you don't love him anymore, you love me." Galdon said. "I did not! I still love my boyfriend." "You can't! You must love me. That is why I sent you here, so you could tell him the news." Lita broke out of his embrace and turned around. Galdon was impossible. He was like a child, fighting for his mother's love. He was fighting for Lita's love. "I can't tell him that." Galdon glared at her, "Why not? I can give you more than he can. I have powers beyond his limit. Don't you know that both you and I are immortal? With this other guy, you will be heartbroken when he get old and dies, but with me, we will live on forever." Lita sighed,"He too is immortal. Don't you know that he is the one for me? He's a protector of Jupiter just like me. He is my protector. I love him and he loves me." "If he was your protector, then why didn't he come and save you when my brother attacked?" Galdon stated, hating this man even more. "Because he didn't know. He is Jupiter Knight, the one truely destined for me." Galdon made a plan in his head to do away with Jupiter Knight, so he would have no competition with Lita. "Don't you love me?" he asked, making a sad face. Lita looked away from him, "I can't love you like this." "Fine. Be with him. You'll be missing a whole lot." Galdon dissapeared again through the window. Lita was getting hungry so she went down into the kitchen to make herself a snack. She was told that it was okay to use the kitchen if she needed to cook. It was included with the fee. Ken was sitting on a desk trying to do homework. He couldn't concentrate and quit soon. He kept on thinking about what would happen if Lita left him for that other guy. Then he would be broken. There would be no need to live on, no need to love anyone else. "Hey are you okay?" Marcus asked, waving a hand infront of Ken's face. "Yeah." "You've been acting weird since your girlfriend came. Is something wrong?" "Other than the fact that she's going to leave me for some jerk and that the whole time span will be messed up since we won't be together like destiny says and that a crazy man is after her?" Ken thought. "Nothing's wrong. I'm just tired." Ken lied. It was ironic how everyone had normal lives except him. He had to fight for the peace of the world, he had to risk his life fighting stupid monsters and demons, and he had to do his homework at the same time. "Is something wrong with your girlfriend Lita? She looked sad or something when she came back to get her stuff yesterday." Ken sighed, got up and flopped onto the bunk-bed. "There is nothing wrong my friend. What do you want us to tell you? That we're super heroes and in disguise? Do you want us to tell you that I fight for the peace of the world?" Marcus laughed, this guy was so funny. He always looked on the brighter side of things. "I guess everything is okay then." Marcus said. "Yup." "Okay." That night, Ken woke up in the middle of the night. He couldn't sleep. There was something that he had to do. It was as if something was making him move, he felt like a doll. Quietly, Ken pulled on his robe and walked out of the apartment. The night moon was full, illuminating the eerie streets. Something gave him a sense of peace. Ken walked to Lita's boarding room and stood outside her window. He looked up, trying to see if she was still awake. No light came from it, and it was probably too late for anyone to be still awake. He didn't want to disturb the old woman who also was in the house. Ken picked up some rocks and threw it at the wall next to the window, hoping to wake only Lita up. Lita woke with a start. She heard something, or either dreamt it. THUD! There it was again. It was coming from outside her window. She got up and opened the window, looking out. Please not Galdon again, Lita thought. She looked down and saw something move. "Who's there?" she yelled into the dark. "Shh!" Ken said. "What are you doing here so late?" Lita whispered. "Come down and I'll tell you." "No, tell me now. It's cold and I'm tired." "Come down or I'll wake everyone on the whole street." Ken said. "Okay, I'll come down. Give me a minute." Lita slipped on a new robe she bought and went stealthily downstairs. When Lita reached the door, she opened it and walked out. Everything was still and dark. Ken walked out from the side of the house, and motioned her to follow him. "What are we doing?" Lita asked when she caught up to him. "It's hard to explain, just follow me." Ken walked into a darkened alley and took Lita's hand. "Ken," Lita said. "Wait." In a minute, light illuminated from the two, and they dissapeared from the alley. Lita closed her eyes because of the bright light. When she opened her eyes, she was immediatly dizzy. Everywhere around her, lights were whizzing by and there was a spectrum of colors. "Where are we?" Lita asked, but her words were distorted. She saw Ken say something, but couldn't hear anything. They were both floating or flying or something. All Lita knew was that she wasn't on the ground anymore. Sounds, colors, touch and smell all melted into the background. There was no exact word to describe what they were going through, it was as if the whole world turned inside out. They seemed to slow down as they reached the end. The end of what, Lita wasn't sure. The next minute, they were standing on the ground, and what happened before seemed like just a dream. "What just happened?" Lita asked. Ken looked around, expecting some sort of answer to just pop out. The most logical explanation was that they just went through a different dimension. "I guess we crossed into another world." Ken said. "So where or when, or what are we now?" "Jupiter." "What?!" "We're on the planet Jupiter." "How can you be sure?" "I just have this feeling." Both of them started floating, not really flying, but floating off the ground. "This must be a dream." Lita said to herself. "It's not a dream." Ken said, reading her mind. "Why are we here?" "I don't know." Ken said. Lita managed to move around by a swimming on the air. She liked this feeling of flying or floating. It wasn't like airplanes where everything zoomed by, it was slow and clam. "Jupiter Power!" Lita yelled, from a sudden urge. "Jupiter Power!" Ken yelled in return. The two of them transformed in the air and looked at each other. Sailor Jupiter 'swam' over to Ken and tagged him. "Tag, you're it," she giggled and swam as fast as she could. "Hey, I wasn't ready." "Too bad." "I'll get you." Jupiter Knight felt like a kid again. Sailor Jupiter swam about ten yards away and looked at Jupiter Knight. He stopped, and it looked like he was about to do something. Before she knew it, a silk sash surrounded her and wrapped her up. She floated over to Jupiter Knight, who was smiling. "No fair," she protested, trying to struggle free. "Too bad," He said, using the same tone she use before. Sailor Jupiter got ready to fire, she knew that if she shot some lighting at him, it wouldn't hurt him. Some time ago, they both found out that their powers are almost harmless against each other. "Jupiter Thunder CRASH!" Sailor Jupiter shouted. "I don't think that's going to help." Jupiter Knight laughed and didn't even think about leaping out of the way. Sailor Jupiter wasn't thinking about shooting it at Jupiter Knight, instead, the power was directed at the sash tying her together. The sash broke loose, and Sailor Jupiter got a safe distance away. "Jupiter Oak, Revolution!" Jupiter Knight had no time to duck. Before he knew it, he was sent flying backwards into the air. "Oh yeah?" He shouted when he got his balance again. "Yeah! What 'cha gonna do about it?" Sailor Jupiter used her waitress accent. "Jupiter Lighting Lance!" All of a sudden, a huge lance appeared in front of Jupiter Knight and he took hold of it. Jupiter Knight aimed it and shouted, "Lightning bolts!" Sailor Jupiter concentrated and put up a force field in front of her. The bolt of lightning helplessly bounced off and dissapeared on the ground. When she got the chance, she flew as fast as she could. As she flew, she shouted, "Catch me if you can!" Jupiter Knight effortlessly put the lance away and flew after her, enjoying the cool breeze. They were the only two people on this planet, and it felt good to be alone, to do things and not care if the consequences were bad. In a second, Jupiter Knight caught up with Sailor Jupiter, being the strongest of the two, he took her arm, and stopped her. Together, without a word, they drifted down onto solid ground. Sailor Jupiter laid her head on the metal plate covering Jupiter Knight's chest. They embraced each other, enjoying their solitude. They both changed back to wearing their regular clothes, and stood there. Ken kissed the top of Lita's head. She looked up at him, thinking. Did he still love her? The way he used to? "Ken," Lita began, "Do you still love me?" Ken looked at her pleading eyes, wanting to say 'yes', but a voice kept saying to wait. "Don't answer that yet." Lita said, hugging him tighter, "Would you still love me if our destiny wasn't like this? If we were just normal teenagers?" "Ofcourse I would," Ken's mind shouted out. He was about to say it, when in the background, he caught sight of something. It was a sillohoute of someone. Sailor Pluto. She was reminding him of that phrase that never left his mind since he heard it. If she loves you, she will come back. Ken unwrapped himeself from Lita, turning around, his back facing her. He sighed, "Lita, we're still young. How do we know what love is? You say you love that other guy, you say you love me. Something inside of me keeps telling me to let you go, to let you run free." "What are you saying? Are you saying you no longer love me?" Lita held back the urge to cry. "I'm letting you go, Lita. You're free." Ken turned and took Lita's hand. In a second, they were back in the alley and it was still night. Lita looked at Ken, trying to read his expression. She started to untie the silk neck tie that she still wore around her wrist. "No, keep it." Ken said. Lita watched Ken walk out of the alley, leaving her alone and crying. "Ken," Lita sobbed on the way up to her room, "Why did I do this? Why is this happening?" When Lita got to her room, she didn't notice the dark figure in the corner. She walked over to the window and looked out. In the distance, she saw Ken walk farther and farther away. Hands went around her waist, and gave her some comfort. "Galdon?" Lita whispered. "It's okay, forget about him. I'm here for you." Galdon whispered into her ear. "I can't forget about him. He has to love me. It's destiny." Lita turned and face Galdon. In the night, his ice blue eyes seemed to glimmer. Lita as a little bit afraid of him, but put that feeling aside. She put her head on his shoulder and cried. This doesn't feel right, Lita thought as Galdon held her. Ken was always the one that held her when she cried. She remembered the first time they realized the love they had for each other. It was when she fell really bad for this guy Freddy. She thought she really loved Freddy, but was wrong. Freddy treated her like trash, and like trash, he threw her out when he got tired of her. That was when Ken offered something Freddy never gave her. He gave her his love. Right under her nose, was the one she's been looking for. Lita dried her tears and backed away from Galdon and his glowing eyes. "I can't forget him." Lita whispered again, feeling torn to pieces. Part of her loved Ken, the other part felt for Galdon. "Time heals all wounds." Galdon said, holding her again. The next thing she knew, Lita was sleeping on her bed, alone in her room. She wasn't crying anymore. She wasn't even sad about Ken anymore, she felt better. Galdon was right, time healed all wounds. "NO!" Lita shouted. Her mind felt messed up. Galdon had done something to her mind. She was sure of it. Why didn't she love Ken anymore? He did something! Lita leaped out of her bed and stuck her head out the window. Dawn was approaching. Sitting on the roof by the window was Galdon, his arms crossed across her chest, smiling at her. "Didn't I tell you time heals all wounds?" he said and arched an eyebrow. "No! You did something to me. I want to know what you did. Time did not heal my wounds." Lita shouted. Galdon stood up, "I didn't do anything." "Liar! Tell me what you did." Lita accused. Galdon winced at being yelled at by Lita. Her eyes were lighted with anger. He didn't like it when she was mad at him. "I simply blocked out your feeling for that man. I am doing you a favor. You see, now you are not heartbroken." "I don't want you to do any favors for me. Undo whatever you did to me." Lita was deathly calm. "I can't do that." "Why not?" Lita demanded. "It can't be reversed." "But I still care for Ken!" Lita shouted. Lita realized what she said, relieved that she still had some feeling for him. Slowly, her heartache came back, and again, she was depressed. "Are you happy now?" Galdon growled, "I don't get why you still love this guy." "Destiny." Lita said and closed her window, trying to get some sleep before sunlight came through. Galdon started to go walk to the place he was staying in. Money wasn't a problem for him or his brother. They had plenty of it. He was staying at a five star hotel in the middle town. He just hoped that those French girls weren't waiting for him in the lobby still. They thought that he was some hot shot actor from Hollywood or something. "I will get you." He said to no one in particular while walking back. "I swear, Ken. Whoever you are. I will fix it so that Lita will only love me." Ken was leaning on a wall. He didn't feel like going back to the house. He felt awful. What if Lita never came back to him? "I hope you understand Lita. I hate hurting you." He sighed. Out of the corner of his eye, he could see someone. He turned and looked closely. It was some one in a Sailor fuku. "You!" Ken shouted at her. "I hope you're happy! I let her go, and look at what's happening. None of use are happy. Now what?" He said to her. "Wait. Only time will tell." Sailor Pluto said calmly. Ken looked at her. "Please look after her. Please." "I'll try." Ken walked back to the house to get some much needed sleep. On Monday, Lita woke to someone pounding at her door. She looked up sleepily at the clock. It was only seven in the morning, too early to be up. "What is it?" Lita called, half asleep. "It's Nana," the lady who kept the house said. "Come in." Nana came in and looked around. "I thought there was someone in here last night." Lita looked down, "Huh? Ofcourse not." "Well, I just came to say that I will be at the market the whole morning." "Okay." "Do you want anything?" "No, that's alright." "I will leave you the extra keys in case you want to go out. They are on the counter in the breakfast nook." "Thank you." Nana left, closing the door behind her. Lita laid back down, trying to go back to sleep. "No use," she mumbled. Lita got dressed and freshened herself up in the bathroom. She found the keys to the house lying on the counter, just like Nana said and tucked them into her pocket. She grabbed a pastry off the plate on the counter and decided to get some fresh air. She went out, locked the door behind her and was on her way. She wasn't sure where she was heading, but had an urge to walk. To walk far away from everything. She walked the opposite direction from where Ken was staying. Along the street, children were walking to school. Lita wondered it she should sign up for school, but decided against it. She didn't plan on staying here for long. As soon as everything was back to normal, she would be on her way home. Out of the corner of her eye, Lita thought she saw someone following her. When she whipped her head around and looked, she saw no one. Must be my imagination, she thought. A couple minutes later, she was sure someone was following her. When she turned around, she caught a glimpse of someone ducking behind an alley. "Wait!" she called out and chased after the shadow. When she reached the alley, she saw it was a dead end. The only way out was it that person leaped over the tall wall, which was almost impossible, unless you were not human. "Galdon!" Lita yelled. A lady stuck her head out the window and yelled something out at Lita. "Sorry." Lita yelled back and walked out, embarassed. Lita started walking in the same direction she was heading. She had her head bowed down. She saw a pair of shoes falling into step with her. "Why were you following me?" Lita demanded when she realized it was Galdon. "I wasn't following you. You just called me right now." Galdon said innocently. "Don't lie to me." Lita said. "I'm not lying." Lita saw in the distance, the same shadow looking at her. So it wasn't Galdon, but who was it. Calbrom! Lita thought. He found her. "Where is your brother?" Lita suddenly asked. "Calbrom is still in Tokyo." Galdon said his name with disgust, "Don't worry, he doesn't know where you are. Yet." "Yet?" "He will find you. This is only to hold him off." "To hold off what has to happen? Will I be like this all my life. Running from your brother?" "If he gets here, we will go somewhere else." "No, I will stay. I'm going to face him, I don't care anymore what will happen if I lose." Lita said, determined. "You can't" "I will." "He's too powerful." Galdon pointed out. "Galdon, please go. I want to be alone." Lita said coldly. She didn't like it when others underestimated her. "But-" "Go." Galdon spun on his heals, heading the other direction. He was angry. Angry at Ken. If Ken was never here, then Lita would have been his by now. Why did he send Lita to Ken? How stupid could he be. "Plan A had taken flight." Galdon said, walking to the house Ken stayed in. Ken was almost ready to go to school. Marcus had left first, for band practice and Ken was going to walk to school alone. He didn't feel like doing anything. Lita was making him feel awful. No, it wasn't Lita. It was Sailor Pluto. She was the one that kept telling him to let Lita go. Now that he did, everything turned upside down. The doorbell rang. Ken went to get it, since Julianna was still asleep. When he opened the door, he was startled to see a man, about his age smiling at him. No, it wasn't a smile, it was more of a leer. "Oui?" Ken asked, assuming that this man spoke French. "Are you Ken?" the man spoke in perfect English. "Yes, and you are?" "Come with me and I will tell you." Ken looked at the clock. Five minutes until school started. "I can't, school." "This is more important than school. It is about Lita." Galdon sneered. Immediately, Ken followed him out of the house, locking it after him. Galdon kept a safe distance away from Ken, who was trying to catch up. "What about Lita? What did you do to her? Who are you?" Ken called after him. Galdon pretended not to hear and walked faster, leading him farther away from the busy streets. "Where are you going?" Ken asked. Galdon ingnored him and continued to walk. Ken stopped and watched Galdon walk by himself for a while. He must be crazy, Ken thought. "Are you coming or not?" Galdon shouted without turning back. "Where?" "Just follow me. Lita is in danger." Galdon said without much emotion. Ken followed him, wondering how he knew Lita and how he knew who he was. They stopped in front of the opening of a cave. Ken didn't notice how far away they had walked. Almost a mile maybe? No, this didn't look like Paris in any way. "Where are we?" Ken asked. "Don't you know?" Galdon grinned a sinister grin. "No. Tell me what's going on and where is Lita?" "Didn't Lita even mention who I was?" Galdon asked. "Who ARE you?" Ken was getting weary and was ready to transform in case of danger. "Didn't Sailor Jupiter tell you?" Galdon asked, in a tone that told Ken that he knew everything. "You're one of those brothers attacking her!" Ken exclaimed. "Correct. Now, for a reward," Galdon held out a syringe filled with some white liquid. He knew that this was the only way to keep him out of the way. If he used his powers to extract Ken's energy, then there was always a way that Sailor Moon can heal him. This way, there was no way Ken would be back to himself unless the 'medication' wore off. Galdon wasn't about to let the medication wear off. "Jupiter Power!" Ken shouted and transformed into Jupiter Knight. Galdon laughed as Jupiter Knight got ready to fight. This was too pathetic. "I don't really want to fight and hurt you. Why don't you take this like a good boy?" Galdon asked and raised the syringe. "Eat thunder!" Jupiter Knight shouted and pointed a sharp lance at him. Thunder bolts shot out of the pointed end and headed for Galdon. Galdon simply raised his hand, and the thunder changed it's direction and flew toward Jupiter Knight. In order to shield himself, Jupiter Knight twirled the lance. It did a pretty good job of deflecting most of the thunder, but one ball of thunder still got through. Jupiter Knight stumbled back as his attack backfired at him. The stumble was all he needed. Galdon rushed at super human speed and held back Jupiter Knight's arms. Jupiter Knight summoned up some energy to release at Galdon, but it was taking too long. In a split second, Galdon stuck the needle into a vein in Jupiter Knight's neck and injected the liquid. Jupiter Knight felt the liquid burning through his veins and soaring through his body. Bit by bit, he felt parts of his body lose feeling. First, he couldn't feel his legs. Then, his stomach, his arms, and then, he felt light headed. He was sinking into a black hole. Everything looked dark, and Jupiter Knight could see Galdon grinning at him. Jupiter Knight didn't feel that bad, just woozy. He couldn't tell anything apart. Shapes and sounds melted into each other, and everything was just one color. He felt drunk to the limit. "See, it's not so bad is it?" Galdon's voice floated into his head. Jupiter Knight struggled to answer, but couldn't control his body. Am I paralyzed? He thought to himself. His thoughts echoed into his mind, deafening him. Soon, he started getting sleepy. Not like a tired sleepy, but more of a sleep that loomed over him. He closed his eyes, the next time he opened them, he was in a field of flowers and Lita was running beside him. Galdon took Jupiter Knight's body and carried it into the cave. He knew that Jupiter Knight would be out for a couple of days, but wouldn't be needing food. They were on the planet Jupiter. Anyone on Jupiter wouldn't feel hunger. The energy soared out of the planet itself and fed the living things. Since he and Jupiter Knight were the only living things on it right now, there would be no shortage of food. He laid Jupiter Knight in a sleeping position and exited the cave. There was something he needed to do now. He had to go and find Lita, so he could have her all to himself. He used his will, and willed himself to Earth. Now, he was standing in the hotel room. Galdon took a peek out the window and saw that it was nearly noon. He would ask Lita out to lunch and then show her what a nice guy he could be. Galdon snuck out of the hotel, trying to avoid the mob of girls waiting in the front. He used the back exit and walked toward Lita's boarding room. He didn't think what he was doing was wrong. If you loved someone enough, then you would do anything to get them, even drug their boyfriend until he's a sleeping idiot. He decided that it wasn't wise to fly up to her window in broad daylight where everyone could see. He tried to call her through the window, "Lita!" There was no answer. She was either still sleeping, or went somewhere. Then he remembered. Lita was going somewhere the last time he saw her. It looked like she was heading for the huge park on the west side of the city. Galdon quickly walked, following Lita's trail. He kept a look out for Lita, in case she stopped on the way for something. As he got closer to the park, he could see a hill in there. Ontop of the hill, you could probably get a fantastic view of Paris. Galdon squinted his eyes, trying to make out who was on the hill. There were about five people on the very top. Three were sitting in a group, the other was flying a kite and the last one was far off, looking sad and lonely. Galdon got a glimpse of red-brown hair flowing around the lone person. "That must be Lita." Galdon spoke to himself. He went into the park and started up the trail to the hill. He had to pass about a million trees, bushes and other green plants on the way. It was a shame that they were so helpless. Galdon was getting tired from walking to Lita, so halfway, he looked around to make sure no one could see what he was doing. Galdon placed a hand on a big leaf of a tree. As Galdon sucked it's energy, the leaves started turning brown, red, then finally falling off. As soon as all the leaves were off, Galdon left feeling refreshed and better. A shadow moved behind an oak tree close to Lita. Galdon could have sworn that it was a person, maybe even a woman. "I must be imagining things," he said when the shadow dissapeared. Stealthily, he walked behind Lita, who seemed to be in another state of consciousness. He looked at her, sitting there and thinking peacefully. He was about to leave and let her have her peace, but didn't. Galdon clasped his hands around Lita's eyes. Lita gave a shriek and jumped. Galdon still blocked her eyes from seeing him. "Who is it?" Galdon asked. Lita knew from the voice, "Galdon." Galdon was a bit dissapointed that she didn't play along with the game, but sat down anyway. He sat next to her, looking at her with curiosity. "What's a pretty girl like you sitting all alone?" he asked and immediately wanted to take it back. Lita looked sad. Her eyes were clouded and it looked like she was going to cry any minute, but she didn't. Instead, she put on a smile and looked at him, "Nothing. I'm just thinking." "Thinking of a specific thing, like me? Or just nothing thinking?" "Nothing thinking I guess. I was thinking about everything," Lita laid back on the soft plushy grass and looked at the sky. Galdon looked down at her and admired her. He just kept staring at her, and Lita was getting nervous under his gaze. "What are you thinking about?" She asked. "You." "Why me?" Galdon sighed and looked at the sky too, "I was thinking that maybe someone as dazzling as you should be an angel. Tell me, are you an angel?" Lita blushed furiously. She couldn't believe how handsome Galdon could get when he said those things. His face would be covered with serenity and he would look so innocent. "Thank you." Galdon looked back down at her, smiling that smile that could melt her like butter, "Do you want to tell me what you were thinking about? You looked so off, like you were out of this world." Lita continued staring at the sky, "I was just thinking about how big the sky is and how blue it is. Sometimes, it would turn purple or navy blue. The flowers smell enchanting, the grass is so fresh. I can't believe how much nature that humans destroyed. This place use to be a lush forest. Now look at it. It's polluted with civilization. There are so few places you can go to get away from it all. Everywhere you go, someone's been there already." Galdon saw in his mind, how beautiful everything use to be in his planet, "I know what you mean. When I was small and lived on planet Six-" "You aren't from Earth? I thought you were from the future." Lita interupted. "Well, my brother and I came to the past after we got to Earth. When I was small, my brother and I use to run in the fields chasing flying birds, butterflies and grasshoppers. Nature stretched for miles, not even ending in the horizon. The winters were long, more than half a year long, but summer was wonderful. We only got two months of summer, but it was like heaven. The sun would come out and everything would be alive. Then one day, almost suddenly, it got dark. I don't mean nighttime dark, but eerie. People were fight over property, and the field we played on was taken from us. My brother changed. He wanted power, money, everything! He said that without power, there was nothing left. I tried to remind him of love, but it didn't get through. After our parent died, I just gave up. I followed my brother into the dark hole. Everyone got mean and greedy. Soon, we were fighting. Everyone was fighting. When the energy got scarce, we fled to Earth. To Crystal Tokyo. No, before we did that, we went to Jupiter. My brother said it was a better planet. He said that the planet Jupiter took all our energy. When we tried to take it back, or destroy Jupiter, we were kicked out by the guards of Princess Jupiter. We never really got a glimpse of her. Once, when we tried to see her, someone told us Princess Jupiter was at Crystal Tokyo. That was how we ended up on Earth. "Calbrom said we had to go to the past to get rid of Princess Jupiter, which was you," Galdon continued, "One look at you and I knew I couldn't. You looked so innocent. Beauty is the most powerful weapon. Inner beauty, not the kind they sell in bottles." Lita took all of this in. That was Galdon's life story. She now understood what made him the way he was. She wondered if he was still like that, what if this is all part of a trap that he and his brother cooked up. Galdon said in a soft and low voice, "You showed me the light. You proved to me that I could love again, Lita. I just wish that my brother could see the light." She didn't know what to say. Lita wanted to cry, but she didn't know what for. She didn't want to pity Galdon. She hated it when others pitied her. She didn't know what she felt anymore. She got back up and pulled her legs up to her chest, hugging her knees. Galdon put an arm around her shoulder a squeezed her gently, "I don't want you to be sad. What do you want to do today? I'll go do anything with you. Do you wan't to go to the beach? Shopping? Lunch?" "I want to watch the sunset." Lita whispered. "But it's only one in the afternoon." "I know. I wan't to spend all day here doing nothing. Waiting for the sunset." Lita didn't tell him how wonderful it was to wait all day for the sunset, then finally see it. "You can leave if you want to." "No, I'll stay with you. Don't you want to go eat lunch first?" Galdon asked. Lita pointed to a basket that Galdon had failed to notice, "I brought lunch. You want some? I'm sure there is enough." "Maybe later. I'm not hungry." Galdon lied. He was never hungry. He never needed food. Unlike her, he lived off energy. "Is it okay if I eat?" Lita asked. "Go ahead." Lita dug into the basket and pulled out a submarine sandwich. She cut it in half, offered him the other piece, which he refused, and started to eat hers. Lita also took out a can of soda for Galdon. I guess this is okay, Galdon thought, looking at the soda can. He opened it and sipped some. It was a little too sweet and made his tongue feel funny, but it was okay. Lita took out a can for herself and finished off the sandwich. She drank the soda slowly. When she finished, she started to squeeze that empty can. Lita bagan making little dents in the side of the can. "Watch this," Galdon set his empty can infront of them and let her watch. He focused some of his power on the can and crushed it with his eyes. "Wow," Lita said, astonished. "Wait, I'm not done yet," Galdon blinked and the entire can combusted into ashes. Lita held some ashes and let it fly and dissapear with the wind. She was a little scared. What if Galdon did that to her. She knew she wouldn't stand a chance against him. "Don't be scared. I wouldn't do anything to hurt you." Galdon said as if he read her mind. One look into his eyes told her it was true. His eyes looked sincere and caring. Not like his brother's which was full of greed and hatred. Lita shivered at the thought of what Calbrom would do if he ever caught up with her. Galdon got up to strecth his legs. Lita followed him and stood beside him. Even though she was considered tall, she felt dwarfed beside him. He was almost a head taller than her. "It's beautiful here," Lita said as she gazed across the city. At the point of the horizon, she could see small puffy clouds beginning to form. "It's going to rain," she said aloud. "I love rain." "I do too." Galdon stepped behind Lita and hugged her. Lita felt the strong muscles holding her. Strangely, she thought she could smell Ken. Not that he stunk, but she could tell it was Ken because of a certain scent. Must be my imagination, Lita thought. Lita turned around in Galdon's arms and hugged him back. Here she was, with a man who traveled through time and space. It felt like she was holding a child, a child who needed love the love and comfort they were denied of for years. She is so kind, Galdon thought. Lita would give her love to the whole world if she could. Galdon thanked the skies that he found her. He traced her face with her thumb and felt the baby soft skin under his fingers. Lita was looking up into those ice blue eyes that use to chill her to the bones. Now, they looked lost in love. Ken's memories flashed into her mind for a split second. No, he set me free, Lita thought. She could love Galdon if she wanted to. Ken had set her free and even said he let her go. But yet, she still love Ken. Another glance into Galdon's eyes made her forget for the moment all her troubles. Galdon placed his lips on her first, waiting for a response. Lita responded, kissing him back. Galdon pressed his body harder against hers, wrapping her arms tighter around her. It was like eating chocolate, you always wanted more. The wind blew about them. Lita's long hair blew into the wind with Galdon's hair and both colors of hair mixed together. Seperating the kiss, Lita gasped for air. She looked at Galdon, who was smiling a smile. He was hiding something. He knew something she didn't know. "What are you smiling about?" Lita asked. "Am I smiling?" Galdon pulled the smile from his face and put on a frown. "Do you know something?" "Not more than you do." Lita decided not to say press on any further. She didn't think he would tell her anyway. In the reflection of Galdon's clear eyes, she saw something behind her move. When she turned around, the shadow moved around and dissapeared. "What?" Galdon asked, putting his arms around her again. "Nothing, I just thought I saw something." "You're just jumpy." "Probably." They just stood like that for a long time, not saying much of anything. Galdon held her close to him, staring down at her. She looked so peaceful, like an angel. Lita had a content look on her face. She almost looked like she was in another world. Galdon just held her, not wanting to disturb her. Sailor Pluto walked quietly down the empty planet. Planet Jupiter was deserted and quiet. She walked along, thinking softly to herself. Lita had fallen for Galdon. This was bad. This wasn't suppose to happen. This would disturb the whole time span if she went with Galdon. She was suppose to be back with Ken by now. Yet, Sailor Pluto wasn't suppose to interfere in time. Better let things flow as it should, she though. As she walked, she felt something odd. She wasn't the only one on the planet. She felt another lifeform on here. Off in the distance, she could see a cave standing out of the flat terrain. She quickly flew to the cave and scouted it out. Nothing was around the outside of it, but it gave a bad vibe to her. She walked into the cave and saw that it lead down. She walked about halfway and stopped. The trail led to a dark room. It was large and lit by candlelight. There was a rock throne towards the back. Sailor Pluto saw a door lead somewhere else. She pushed the door open and gasped. Jupiter Knight was there and he was dead! He looked peaceful on the ground. To her surprise, when she looked for a pulse, she found one. It was a slow pounding pulse that calmed her down. "Jupiter Knight! Wake up. Can you hear me?" Sailor Pluto shouted. There was no answer. He was out cold. Just then, the door slammed shut. Sailor Pluto tried to reopen it, but it wouldn't budge. "You shouldn't have come here," a voice said from the other side, "Now, you are trapped here." "Let me out! I demand you to let me out or you will be very sorry!" Sailor Pluto shouted. "Don't threaten me. I know you can't do anything in here." Sailor Pluto immediately thought of something. She took her time key and commanded the gates of time to open. She stepped through it and was free again. It was too bad that she couldn't take Jupiter Knight with her also. There was a rule that only the keeper of time can go through time. Those who break that rule will live in eternal hell if they die. There was an exception that the scouts, including Chibi Moon can cross also, but only in the presence of Sailor Moon. "I have to go tell Lita." Sailor Pluto said. She looked into the many mirrors of time that showed what each scout was doing. I GUESS I WAS WRONG. LOOK OUT FOR A SEQUEL TO THIS SERIES. MAIL ME AT JUPITER101@HOTMAIL.COM JUPITER KNIGHT XII BY Lady Jupiter Lita was humming a tune in her room. She and Galdon had seen the sunset together and smiled at each other. It was wonderful, yet there was something missing. She didn't know what it was, but it didn't feel complete. She only felt complete when Ken was with her. She knew they were destined to be forever, but what if he didn't want her back? What if he just said he loved her to keep her happy. After all, if he didn't say it, then it would be a shame that they were destined together. Lita sighed and sat on her bed. Something moved. Lita caught the slight movement out of the corner of her eye. There...it moved again. Lita turned and looked for what moved. It was in the mirror hung on the wall. Something in the mirror was moving. Lita walked up to the mirror. She peered in. It looked like a normal mirror, but what moved. Her reflection peered back at her. Then, the glass started getting foggy. Lita rubbed it with her sleeve to clean it, but it still was foggy. The fog was from the other side. "What? This is impossible." Lita muttered to herself. An image showed up in front of her. A face was staring back. It wasn't her face. Lita jumped back and stared at it. "Jupiter Power!" Lita felt this dangerous. Oddly, she felt more brave in her sailor fuku. The face was clear now. It was another Sailor Scout. "Sailor Pluto!" Sailor Jupiter said. "Yes." "How are you? You sure scared me. I thought that-" Sailor Jupiter started to babble. "There is no time." Sailor Pluto looked stern. "Why? Is Sailor Moon in danger?" Sailor Jupiter was now serious. "No, but Jupiter Knight." "What happened to him? Is he hurt?" Sailor Jupiter's voice turned up a few notches. "I'm not sure what happened to him, but he is unconscious. Almost dead. There were no marks of injury except a dent in the metal chestplate. It shouldn't knock him out cold." "Where is he?" "Jupiter. In a cave." "How do I get there?" Sailor Jupiter asked. "As soon as I leave and you can see your image again in the mirror, step through. I will transport you there. I will tell the other scouts about the situation. Just get there as fast as you can. Be careful." Sailor Jupiter watched Sailor Pluto's image fade and soon, she was staring at her own scared face. Unsure of it, she put her hand through the mirror and saw it dissapear. She leaped through the mirror and ended up on Jupiter. In front of her was the mouth of the cave. It was dark in there and something was echoing in there. She walked in, just walking straight. She could tell that this tunnel was leading down. Farther up ahead, she saw some light. A dancing light from the flame of some candles. Sailor Jupiter entered a large room, dim in the candle light. She noticed someone sitting on a throne in the back of the room. Unfocused blue eyes glowed at her. She knew these eyes anywhere. "Galdon!" Sailor Jupiter shouted. The eyes focused on hers and twinkled, "Sailor Jupiter. What are you doing here?" Galdon stepped out from the shadows and smiled. "Where is Ken?" "Why do you ask for him?" Galdon said innocently. "Where is he? You did something to him." Sailor Jupiter demanded. "Don't you want to be with me?" "Where is Ken?" "Why?" "Where is he? He better not be hurt." Sailor Jupiter gave him the coldest stare she could come up with, but hated the pained look that came from his eyes. "I got him out of the way so you could like me better." Galdon said. "That's not how you do things here. You can't get rid people like that. It's not what love is about. Love is when you can trust a person not to lie. Love is when you can trust them that they'll come back. Love doesn't make you want to get rid of people." Sailor Jupiter was almost in tears now, but blinked them back, "Where is he?" Galdon made a dicision. Ken was holding her back. If he killed him pemanately, then Lita would come to him, "I'll give you one last chance to see him." "What do you mean one last chance?" Sailor Jupiter was feeling sick. Galdon thought. It would hurt her if he killed Ken, but after a while, there would be no more to love except him. He would have Sailor Jupiter all to herself. "I'm going to kill him," Galdon stated. Sailor Jupiter's eyes clouded over with tears that splashed onto the floor. She knew that she couldn't stop him. Galdon was too strong. "I won't give up," Sailor Jupiter swore to herself. She sunk onto the dirt floor and felt sick. She cried and cried, not caring if Galdon killed her or not anymore. It was all her fault. If she never came to France, Ken would have never been in danger. Galdon pulled her arm, "Are you coming or not?" Sailor Jupiter snatched her arm from him and glared. She couldn't have hated someone as much as she did right now. He said he loved her, yet he hurt her. Not only her, but the one she loved. There were those time that she thought she loved him, but now, she knew she didn't. It was just a silly crush. A highschool crush. Slowly, Sailor Jupiter got to her feet, her knees feeling wobbly. She wasn't sure if she could make it to where he was leading to her. It was only across the room to a door. She took one step and almost fell. Her legs weren't cooperating with her. Galdon came to guide her to the door, but she refused. "I can do this without your help," she replied cooly and walked over to the door. Galdon began to open it, and stopped, "You WILL love me. When I get rid of him, you'll come back. You should be happy that I liked you. Lots of other women are fighting over me." "Shut up and open the door," Sailor Jupiter said. She now saw what a monster Galdon could be. All he wanted was her. He didn't care if she was broken inside or not. "Ask nicely." Galdon sneered. Right then, they heard footsteps getting closer. "In the name of the Moon, I will fight wrong and do justice!" Sailor Moon's voice came echoing through the room. A minute after, the scouts appeared, including Tuxeedo Mask. Sailor Jupiter turned around, "Scouts!" "Jupiter! Are you alright?" Sailor Venus asked. "No, Ken, he's hurt." Sailor Jupiter babbled. Galdon opened the door to the dark room and stood behind Sailor Jupiter. Sailor Jupiter took a while to adjust to the light, but when she could see, she broke out in fresh tears. "Jupiter Knight..." Sailor Jupiter knelt by the body of Jupiter Knight and touched his hand. His hand was warm, but he looked so pail. Was he dead? Or just out cold. "What did you do to him?" Sailor Jupiter demanded, looking back at Galdon's cold blue eyes. "I drugged him," he replied non-chalantly. Sailor Moon threw her tiara at Galdon, but he was protected by some sort of forcefield. The tiarra bounced off helplessly. "Mars Fire Ignite!" Sailor Mars shot out some of her fire, but it too was no use. Tuxeedo Mask threw a bunch of needle sharp roses at Galdon, but they were useless. "Don't waste your energy, you can't destroy me." Galdon laughed. "Wake up! Jupiter Knight, wake up!" Sailor Jupiter shouted. "He should be out for another couple of days. I gave him a second dose an hour ago." Galdon informed. "You!" Sailor Jupiter got up, summoning all her strength, "I hate you! I hate what you did to my friends. To my boyfriend." "I thought I was your boyfriend," Galdon said sarcastically. "Never!" She started getting closer to Galdon, ignoring the stinging sensation everytime she touched him. Galdon backed up, forgetting his forcefield. They were now in the middle of the room, the other scouts watching. Sailor Jupiter glared at him coldly. Galdon glared back, returning the look. "I will make you love me. You'll see." he said. "Never. My heart belongs to Jupiter Knight." Sailor Jupiter felt almost boiling with rage. Sailor Jupiter took a hold of Galdon's hands and clamped them in hers. She released her energy in lighting and it bolted through the forcefield right into Galdon's body. "No!" Galdon's eyes turned black, and his body started to dematerialize. All was left was a dark shadow with red eyes. "Get him Sailor Moon!" Sailor Jupiter shouted. "Moon Scepter Ellimination!" Sailor Moon shouted. The shadow smoked up, and dissapeared. Sailor Jupiter looked at the others, happy that they were here. They got into a group hug, and Sailor Jupiter walked away from them. "Jupiter Knight," she whispered. Sailor Jupiter knelt down and placed a hand over his, "You let me free. I want to come back now." Tuxeedo Mask carried Jupiter Knight out into the middle of the room and sat down. "Sailor Moon, can you heal him?" Tuxeedo Mask asked. "I'll try." Her healing wand came out from no where and she started, "Moon Healing Activation!" Nothing happened. Jupiter Knight still lay there. Sailor Mercury came next to Sailor Jupiter. "Galdon drugged him. There is no effect from the Moon wand." She stated. "What do we do now?" Sailor Mars asked. "I think Tokyo is safe now. Remeber what we found out? If one brother dies, the other is gone too. Let's go back and see what we can do with Jupiter Knight." Sailor Moon suggested. "How do we get back?" Venus asked. "Get in a circle around Jupiter Knight. Hold hands and concentrate." Tuxeedo Mask was serious. "Where are we going to teleport to?" Sailor Moon asked. "Not anywhere public." Rei suggested, "Maybe my temple." "No, Chad will be there." Sailor Mercury pointed out. "My house." Sailor Jupiter finally said in a monotone. They concentrated on Lita's house. Jupiter Knight's body faded and dissapeared first, then the others followed. They ended up in the middle of Lita's living room. They transformed back and just stared at Jupiter Knight. He was the only one not in normal clothes. Outside, a slight scratching noise was heard. They all looked out of the window and saw Luna and Artemis. Serena walked over to the window and lifted the pane. The two cats walked in and looked around. There was an unhappy feeling in the atmospere. "How are you Lita?" Artemis broke the silence. "Fine." Luna walked over to Jupiter Knight, "What happened to him?" "They drugged him," Rei told them. "Did you try to use the Moon Healing?" Luna asked. "Yes, it didn't work." "We have to get him to a hospital," Lita said. "No, we can't. He's still in his uniform. If we bring him there, and they ask why he is wearing that, they will find everything out." Luna said. "We can't just wait and let him die!" Lita started crying again. Ami got up and said to Lita, "Let me go home and get some of my mother's equiptment. When I get back, I'll do some test and findout what they did to him." "In the mean time, I think you girls should go to school. It would be too obvious if all of you are absent from school. Darien, can you drive them to school?" Artemis asked. "Yes, do you want me to carry him to the bed, Lita?" Darien indidcated Ken, still lying on the ground. "Please." Darien and the others carried Jupiter Knight to the extra bedroom where there was a spare bed. Lita covered him with a thin blanket. "Thank you. All of you, for helping me." She said. "Are you going to come to school?" Serena asked. "No, I'll stay here and wait for Ami." Lita said. Ami had already went to fetch some materials. Luna and Artemis said they would stay with Lita to make sure she was alright. The others left, saying they would come back right after school. As soon as they left, Lita flopped onto the couch and sank into a depressed mood. What if Jupiter Knight never go better. What if he stayed like that, a human vegetable for the rest of her life? Lita had no more tears left to cry. After a few minutes, Ami came back, panting from running and carrying a medical box. She went into the room Jupiter Knight was sleeping in, followed be Lita. Ami took out an empty syringe and stuck a needle in it. Lita's eyes grew large with fear, "What are you going to do to him?" Ami assured Lita that this wasn't going to hurt Ken, "Don't worry. He probably won't even feel it. I'm going to take a blood sample and that way, I'll be able to tell what they drugged him with. That way, I'll know what kind of effects will the medications have." Ami took the needle and stuck it into Ken's arm, drawing out some blood. Lita looked away. She couldn't bare the thought of shots. Ami took the syringe full of blood and brought it into the bathroom. Lita watched as Ami emptied the blood into a clear cup connected to some sort of computer that came in the medical box. The computer made a few beeping noises and displayed a bunch of letters that meant nonsense to Lita. Ami was starting to frown. "Lysergic Acid?" Ami mumbled absently. Ami typed some things into the computer, and more nonsense came out. "What is it?" Lita asked anxiously. Ami's face looked serious and, "They gave him an overdose of Lysergic acid. Just a drop can make a person hallucinate and have flashbacks. But it seemed that he had almost a thousand times as much. He should be out cold for a week or so." "What do you mean out? Is he going to stay like this for a week?" Lita asked. "Unless I can go look for the antidote." Ami said. "What is the antidote? Can you find it or make it?" "The antidote is Valium. I think I can find some at the hospital, but it won't do much good. If you give him the antidote, he'll wake up." "But?" "But he'll be kind of fuzzy or messed up for a couple of days. He should be back to normal after that." Ami said. "Can you go get the Valium?" Lita asked. "I'll go right now. Just stay and tell me if there are any changes in him." Ami said and packed up the medical stuff and left for the hospital. Lita sat by Ken, who was still in the uniform. His chest was rising and falling with every breath. Luna came in and sat on Lita's lap. "He doesn't love me anymore," Lita told Luna. "Silly, ofcourse he still loves you." Luna scolded. "I don't think so." "Did he trust you enough to let you go?" "Yes. He said he set me free." "And you came back didn't you?" "Yes," Lita thought about what Ken had said the last time they had talked, "He said he let me go." "He still loves you." "Now I understand. He had to let me chose for myself. He was so noble." Lita cried, not realizing she was talking about Ken in a past tense. "Don't fret Lita, everything will be alright," Luna assured her. "I hope you're right." "There is no use just sitting here. Why don't you go do something." Luna suggested. Lita finally noticed her apartment was neat and tidy. When she left, everything was messed up. Calbrom had tossed this and that and ruined many pictures. "The girls helped clean it up after you left." Luna said, reading her mind. "Thank them for me Luna, thank you too." Ami had a hard time getting Valium. She had found her mother at the hospital working with a patient. When Ami had asked for the Valium, her mother gave her a puzzled look, "What on Earth do you need that for?" Ami hated to lie, but knew she had to, "I have a project to do in school. I need it for an experiment." "What a strange project," her mother exclaimed. "Yes." "Well, I know you will put it to good use." "Thank you," Ami said and took the bottle of Valium in it's liquid form. This time, Ami didn't run, incase she dropped it. She walked quickly to the bus stop and boarded the bus to Lita's house. She probable looked weird since she was carrying a medical bag and a bottle of Valium. They probably thought she was a mental patient. Ami got off the bus at the stop closest to Lita's house and quickly walked the rest of the way. The front door as usual was open. She heard music coming out of Lita's room and poked her head in. Lita was playing on the keyboard in the back of her room. Ami recognized the tune as Rainy Day Man, Lita and Ken's song. Ami didn't want to scare Lita, but didn't know what else to do. She cleared her throat. The music stopped and Lita looked at Ami. "I got the Valium," Ami held up the bottle. Lita didn't say a word and walked into the room Ken was staying in. He was still in the same state, half dead. Lita watched Ami fill another syringe with the liquid. "How many of those do you have?" Lita asked. Maybe her whole bag was full of those needles. "Just enough," Ami smiled. Ami lifted Ken's arm up and showed Lita what to do, "Squeeze his arm." Lita did as she was told and watched Ami carefully measure his arm. Ami stuck the needle throught the fabric of Ken's suit and injected the liquid. "Let go so it will flow through," Ami told Lita. Lita let go and looked at Ken. There was no change. "He should wake up in a day or so," Ami said. "A day? How long is it suppose to take for him to be himself again?" "Maybe three days." Lita looked at the clock on the wall. It was almost five in the afternoon. She walked out of the bedroom and into the kitchen. She began to prepare dinner. "Do you want to stay for dinner?" Lita asked. "Okay. I want to see if there will be any change in him." "I should make extra in case the others stop by," Lita said to herself. Lita started cooking the rice. Ami helped Lita peel the vegetables. They worked in silence for a couple of minutes. Ami broke the silence, "How was France?" That was when Lita remembered, "Oh my god! I forgot!" "Forgot what?" "Ken's things and my things are still back there. We didn't even tell them we were leaving!" "You can send for them through the mail," Ami said logically. "But what will I tell them? That we suddenly had to leave because Ken was drugged?" "Just tell them there was an emergency back home." "Good idea, Ami. How did you ever get so smart?" "I don't know." Lita laughed, "That's the first time I heard you say that." Ami laughed with her. It's been a long time since they ever laughed together. Ami knew how much Lita was hurting inside. She knew how long Lita and Ken were together. Almost all their lives. They met in the sand box days, when Lita still had parents. Lita and Ken use to play together, and comfort each other. When Lita's parents died, Ken was the only one who stood by her. "Knock-knock!" Serena's shrill voice called out. She was followed by Mina and Rei. The three girls walked into Lita's apartment and looked around. They saw Ami and Lita in the kitchen peeling vegetables. Mina noticed that Lita looked better, even smiling, "Any good news?" "Yes. They dosed Ken with Lysergic Acid, I guess that's bad news, but there's also good news," Ami told them. "Well? Don't keep us in suspense!" Rei said. "I gave him some stuff to make him better. In a couple of days, he'll be back to himself." "Good!" Serena cheered. Luna hopped on the counter and sniffed at some vegetable peelings that Ami dropped. Artemis was already eating them up. "Do you need some help?" Mina asked. Lita looked down at her bowl, "No, we're almost done. The last time you helped, you cut your finger off, remember?" "Oh yeah," Mina blushed. "You can go into the living room and do your homework. I'll join you as soon as I finish putting all this in the pot." Lita told everyone else. The next morning, Lita woke up and checked on Ken. He was still the same. She called Mina and told her she would stay home again, in case Ken wakes up. Mina told her that if there were any changes in Ken, that she shoud call her. Lita took a shower and went to make breakfast. She didn't feel like cooking anything, so she just microwaved some oat meal. After she ate the oatmeal, she had nothing to do. There were no chores to do, and there was nothing on TV. Four times already, she had gone to check on Ken and he was still in the same condition. The piano was her last choice. Out of boredom, Lita started banging on the keys. Strangely, she drifted into a slow song that seemed familiar. It was Rainy Day Man. Their song. Lita wondered when they first heard it together. It seemed that everytime they heard it, they were always together. Lita never heard it on the radio when she was alone. Jupiter Knight was sitting on a fuzzy patch of grass. He was tired. He had already travled to China, Rome, India, Alaska, Australia, and even Hawaii. He had gotten there by flying. Not with an airplane, but by real flying. Soaring through the sky like an eagle. There were no other people on the way. All he saw were birds, no other animals and no buildings. Now, the sky was black, but it was light as day and there were no stars. He had a feeling that something was sucking him into the black sky. There were faces calling to him. Horrifying faces beckoning him to join them. "NO!" Jupiter Knight shouted. He tried to run, but his legs were like rubber. There was no where to go. Reluctantly, he stepped into a black hole. He had the feeling as if he was in a washing maching on the rinse cycle. As soon as everything stopped, Jupiter Knight woke up. Jupiter Knight was lying on his back, in a pink room. He looked at himself and realized what he was wearing. "Jupiter Power," he whispered and his regular clothes appeared. "Cool. I'm Super Man." he said lazily. Ken tried to sit up, but he had no sense of balance. Even raising his arm made him dizzy. He tried again and knocked a pillow down in the process. Now, he was half sitting, half falling off the bed. Lita heard something from the bedroom and walked in. She saw Ken, now in regular clothes. "Ken!" Lita cried. She helped him sit up, since he was about to fall off the bed. His eyes were dialated and he looked drunk or something. "Ken! You're awake!" Lita said and grabbed a chair to sit next to the bed. "My name isn't Ken. I'm Super Man!" Ken insisted. "No, you are Ken," Lita told him. "Liar, I'm Super Man." Lita sighed. Ami told her that he would be out of it, but she didn't know he would be that out of it. "Do you know who I am?" Lita asked. "Queen of..." Ken closed his eyes to think. "Of what?" "Spades!" "What?" "You are the queen of spades!" Ken shouted. "No I'm not." "Yes, I saw you on my playing cards!" Lita took his hands in hers and said patiently, "Ken, don't you remember me? I'm Lita." "No, you're the queen of hearts." Ken kept saying. "Remember Jupiter?" "Let me think," Ken looked up at the ceiling, "Oh, I remember! Aliens came from Jupiter so I had to kill them with my super human powers!" Lita gave up trying to convince him of who he was and who she was. "Are you hungry?" She asked. "Yes, I am." "Okay, stay here. Don't go anywhere, okay?" Lita asked. "Okay." Lita went into the kitchen and warmed up some oat meal for him. While the oatmeal was cooking, she called Ami. "Ami? This is Lita. Yeah, Ken's awake.... No, he doesn't know who I am. He thinks he's Super Man....okay, I will. Can you call the others?....Darien too....okay, bye." Lita went in the room carrying the bowl of oatmeal and a cup of milk. Ken was still sitting, but he was staring blankly at a painting on the wall. "Ken? Can you eat?" Lita asked. She didn't think she needed to feed him like a child. Ken didn't answer, only stared at the wall unblinking. "Ken? You still here?" Lita waved a hand in front of her face. Ken blinked and shifted her eyes onto her, not focusing, "The walls are dripping." "What?" "Your walls are dripping with water." Lita turned around and looked at the wall. Nothing was dripping. It looked just like a normal wall, except it was pink, like the rest of the house. "Don't you see the water?" Ken asked. Lita decided to just play along, "Yes, but let's leave it alone for today okay? When you get better I'll let you fix them." "I'm not sick. I can fix them today," Ken insisted. "Here, it's oatmeal. Eat it before it's cold." Lita handed Ken a spoon. Ken reached for the spoon, but was about half a foot off. He grabbed at the air around the spoon. He gave it another try and almost missed it. Lita placed the lap board on Ken's lap and put the bowl down. Ken stared at the bowl at first. Then, he tried to dip his spoon in, but missed and stuck the lap board. "Ken," Lita said. Ken looked up with dialated eyes. Lita's heart broke for him, who use to be her best friend, her boyfreind. "Let me help you." Lita sat closer to him and took the bowl, "Give me the spoon," she placed her hand out. Ken handed her the spoon, a foot away from her hand and sat back. Lita scooped up some oatmeal and blew on it to cool. She fed him like a child, spoon by spoon. Someone opened the front door to her apartment when she was almost down feeding him. "Lita?" Mina called out. "In the bedroom," Lita answered. She finished feeding Ken and placed the bowl and cup on the nightstand. Mina, Serena, Ami, Luna, Artemis, Rei and Darien came in. They all looked at Ken to see if he was alright. "How are you Ken?" Rei asked. Ken looked up at her, seeing right through her. He didn't answer. It was like he hardly heard the question. "Ken?" Serena asked. "It's no use," Lita told them. Ami stepped up with a thermometer and a flashlight. "Can I check him?" she asked Lita. "Be my guess," Lita stepped out of the way. Ami put the thermometer in Ken's mouth and said,"Don't bite it, Ken." Ken didn't do anything. Ami shone the flashlight directly into Ken's eyes. There was no reaction. Ami snapped in front of his face and Ken didn't even blink. Ami took the thermometer out of Ken's mouth and frowned. Lita saw the worried look on Ami's face, "What's wrong?" "His temperature is slightly high. I should have checked it earlier." "How high?" Darien asked. "Ninety-nine." "Is that bad?" Rei asked. "Not for a fever, but Ken's in another medical condition. He's going to get delirious." "Too late for that. He already thinks he's Super Man." Lita told them. They all looked at Ken who was just staring at nothing. Suddenly, Ken spoke, "I have to go to the bathroom." All the girls blushed and Lita looked at Darien. "I'll take him," Darien said. It took all of them to get Ken to stand up. He seemed to have lost his sense of balance. Darien had to lead him to the bathroom. The whole way, Ken leaned against the wall, looking as if he would fall over any second. The girls stayed in the bedroom waiting for Darien and Ken to come back. "When will he be normal?" Luna asked Ami who was the medical genius of the bunch. "What do you mean by normal?" "When will he be able to walk around right and remember who all of us are?" Luna said more specifically. "Maybe by tommorow night. But there is also something I found out. I read it this morning in one of my mother's medical books." "What's that?" Lita asked. "Even if he does get back to normal-" Ami started. "I don't like the sound of this." "Even if he does get normal, there will be a chance that he will be having sudden flashback, short seizures for maybe a year. Then he'll be 100 percent normal." "So he'll be in the middle of the street and he'll just have a seizure?" Lita asked. "Yes, but very short. Almost five second seizures." "It's all my fault. If I hadn't gone to him, then Galdon wouldn't have did this to him. No, I did this to him." Lita was getting angry with herself. "It wasn't your fault! Stop blaming yourself. All of us scouts are at risk ninety percent of our lives. You didn't do this to him, Galdon did." Serena told her. Rei too Lita by the shoulders and looked her straight in the eyes, "Don't you ever blame yourself for this you hear? It wasn't your fault." Lita looked down, feeling tears come. She didn't want Ken to be like this. It wasn't fair. She wished it was her instead. Darien brought Ken in and put him back on the bed. Ken still stared straight ahead at nothing. Lita stood in front of him. "Ken," she said with pleading eyes. For a brief moment, Ken's eye focused on hers and he smiled, then the look was gone. His eyes were dialated once again. "Did you see that?" Lita asked everyone, "He recognized me!" "I saw that too. He's getting better." Ami said. 9:00 PM: "It's getting late. We should get going." Serena said. All of them had ate dinner at Lita's house again and watched as Lita fed Ken. Halfway through the meal, Ken took a hold of Lita's hands and held the spoon for himself. He fed himself the rest of the meal. "C'mon I'll drive you guys home." Darien offered. "Thanks." Rei said. "We'll stop by tommorow after school." Mina told Lita. "Bye Lita. Bye Ken." Serena called out after the others had left. Ken didn't hear Serena. He was sleeping soundly. He had already gotten the hang of walking again. Now, Lita didn't have to worry if Ken had to go to the bathroom. Lita checked the locks on her windows and the front door. Ami told her it was okay if Ken walked around her house, but it wasn't safe for him to walk outside where there was traffic. She got ready for bed and flopped down tiredly. All day, she had been watching over Ken and it was tiring. She didn't mind watching over him, there had been so many times when he watched over her. Lita bolted up from a sound sleep. She glanced over at the clock. It was only one in the morning. Something was wrong. Something was wrong with Ken. Lita grabbed her pink robe and rushed to his room. In the darkness, he looked just as she left him Lita listened carefully. Ken was breathing in jagged breaths, almost gasping. She flipped on the light switch and looked at him. Ken was breaking out in a cold sweat and his skin looked paler than it was before. Lita quickly rushed into the bathroom and took out an ice pack. She went into the kitchen and filled it with ice. She went in a placed it on Ken's forehead. His skin felt burning hot. Then, Lita remembered something she learned in health class. Whenever someone had a high fever, they should stay awake, in case they fall into a coma. Lita shook Ken's bed, "Ken, wake up." Ken didn't stir. "Ken!" Ken opened his eyes and peered into Lita's. Lita made Ken sit up, still holding the ice pack to his head. "Thirsty," Ken mumbled. "Stay right here," Lita made Ken hold the ice pack to his forhead while she went to the kitchen. She poured him a cup of ice cold lemonade. When she went back into the bedroom, Ken was still sitting, but it looked like he was dosing off. "Ken!" Lita shouted. She let him sip some lemonade out of a straw. Ken was getting paler by the minute. "Ken, are you okay?" Lita asked. "Who's Ken? I'm Tuxeedo Mask!" Ken shouted. Ken was about to jump up, but Lita held him down. "Don't get up, you are very sick right now." At about six in the morning, Lita dosed off. Ken's fever finally broke and she let him go back to sleep. Lita still didn't want to leave his bed side and slept on a chair beside him. Three hours later, Lita woke up stiff and tired. She checked Ken's temperature and it was back to normal. Ken looked better than he did last night. Since she didn't feel like eating breakfast, Lita skipped it. She went into the bathroom and splashed some cold water onto her face. It felt good and refreshing. Lita walked into her own room to change out of her pajamas. She glanced over at her piano. Lita walked to the piano bench and started to play. She played for hours, losing herself to the music. Ken woke up with a huge headache. It was like a hangover you got when you drank ten sixpacks of beer. He looked around, surprised by his surroundings. The last thing he remebered was being dragged into some room in the cave. Now, he was in another room and the walls were pink. He looked around, unfamiliar with his surroundings. Soft music made it's way into his ears. It was a familiar tune. He couldn't quite place his fingers on the name of the song, but he knew it well. Ken got up, stretching all the kinks out of his neck and yawned. It felt as if he slept for an eternity. Like Rip Van Winkle, everything was different. Drifting toward the soft music, Ken suddenly recognized it. Rainy Day Man. Him and Lita's song. He stopped in front of Lita's open bedroom door and stared at her. Lita's back was toward him so she had no idea he was awake. Ken walked into the bathroom to take a quick shower and to brush his teeth. He felt like he had the oldest breath in the world. Lita had a feeling someone was watching her and turned around. No one was there. "My imagination again," Lita said and continued to play. After the shower, Ken walked back to Lita's room. She was still playing, absorbed in the music. For a while, Ken just stood there gaping at her. Not only was she beautiful, she was talented as well. She never took music lessons, yet she could play like a pro. Lita felt the heat of someone's eyes on her and stoped playing. She shut the cover on the piano and turned around. Standing in the doorway was Ken. At first, Lita thought that he was still hallucinating, but his eyes focused on hers. Ken's gaze burned through her own and he smiled. "Ken!" Lita cried and jumped happily into his open arms. "Are you alright?" Ken asked. Lita looked at him, he was the one who was in danger, yet he asked for her health, "Ofcourse I am. What about you? How do you feel?" "Hungry," Lita laughed and led him into the kitchen. While she watchen him eat, she told him everything that happened since he was knocked out. "Wow, did that really happen?" Ken asked. "Yes," Lita said sadly. "What's wrong?" Ken asked, looking at her. Lita tore her eyes away from his intense gaze, "Nothing." "You're lying to me." "No I'm not!" Lita leaped up from her seat and stomped out of the kitchen. Ken followed Lita out and saw her stop in front of the balcony. He went up behind her and took her into his strong arms. "Please tell me," he pleaded. Lita started softly sobbing, "I don't deserve you. I'm sorry for all the pain I caused you. I'm so sorry. I really do love you, but I just don't know what I fell right now." Ken squeezed Lita, "It's okay. A little pain is nothing, if my reward is to have you all my life. I know you love me, I knew you loved me. You just needed to find out for yourself." "I did." Ken drew Lita closer to him and kissed her. Their hair were flowing together, mixing in the wind. Serena walked towards Lita's apartment. When she looked up, she saw a couple kissing on the balcony. They were so close they looked as one. "Looks like all's back to normal." Serena said. "Let's hope." Luna replied. ##### Well? THAT'S THE END OF THE JUPITER KNIGHT SERIES. I'D LIKE TO THANK ALL THE LOYAL PEOPLE WHO READ EVERY SINGLE CHAPTER OF THIS. If you don't let me go, I will not come back." -Maid Marrian (Robin Hood) "Y'all come back here! Y'hear?" JUPITER KNIGHT VI FUTURE PROBLEMS This is based on the future of Crystal Tokyo. For those of you who read my first stories, this could be confusing since I jumped so far ahead. SailorMoon is owned by Toei Animation and Naoko Takeuchi. This story is owned by me. Can't help it if the spelling or grammar is crummy. It's what it's about that counts. On with the show: Lita lay awake on her bed, her long silky gown flowing with the breeze. She could not sleep. Not when so much of Crystal Tokyo is destroyed. After sending Reeni to the past, not much has changed. Most of the city was in ruins, thanks to the Black Moon family. Queen Serenity was not worried about the now, she was still thinking that the scouts of the past would defeat the evil. Lita thought differently. She thought they should think about what to do now, instead of in the past. Many of the other scouts though so too, but it was not proper to object to the queen. She was startled out of her thoughts by a soft thud. The light curtains flutered from the balcony. Who could it be this late at night? She thought. Her bedroom was the highest in the tower. About 20 stories up. She thought she would have heard if someone use the elevator. She got up, and walked to the balcony, lifting up the curtains and peeking out at the intruder. She was a familiar form looking out toward the city. "Ken." she said softly. He did not look back, just stared on at the city. "Why are you up so late?" she asked, taking a place beside him. "The same reason why you can't sleep. How can anyone sleep when the whole city is going to ruins?" he asked. "Don't give up just yet. Remember you always told me that?" Ken looked down into her green eyes which still held the spark of hope and innocence like those of a child's. "I'm tired of fighting. Why fight when you know what the end will be like? When you know you'll lose?" Lita closed her eyes, trying to find an answer, "It's not over yet. We can win. Serenity sent Reeni back, she has hope. You can't lose hope. We can still do it. No matter what you lose, there is still two things that no one can ever take away. Remember what they are, and you'll always survive. Love and hope. No one can ever make you lose those two things. Never." "How can you love, when the world is so full of hate. Wars are going on everywhere, greed is taking over. Brothers are turning against each other. Do you hear that? No birds are singing, no crickets are chiroing. Even the animals have given up. Stop looking on the bright side of everything. This is one thing that has only one side." Ken pounded the wall hard with a bandaged hand. Lita took his hand in hers. "You hurt your hand again. Stop hitting everything. If you want to hit something, hit me." Lita knew about his temper and knew that Ken always hit the wall when he was frustrated. She also knew that he couldn't hit her. Never. "The love is hiding. There is still hope. I still have hope." Ken hugged Lita close to him, and looked down at those eyes. Those eyes that reminded him of a child who still believed in Santa Claus, Tooth fairies, and Christmas. Christmas. The last time he celebrated Christmas was just before his world toppled over. But that was okay. As long as he still had Lita, there was hope. She was right. Hope was always there. He gave her a kiss on the forehead, and said, "I'm going to try to get some sleep. I'll see you in the morning." He walked out of her room, and down the winding steps to his own room. When he got there, he opened the door, and faced the brick wall. He pounded it once with his fist, feeling the pain soar into his body. He heard Lita's voice in his mind, Stop hitting things. If you want to hit something, hit me. He prepared to punch the wall again. Then, he imagined her face on the wall. He stopped, and walked into the bedroom. He flopped into bed, into a dreamless sleep. Lita walked into bed, and laid down. She thought about what she told Ken. She hoped she was right. It was true what he said, there was nothing more to fight for. She was praying that Reeni would find the scouts, and that everything would be alright in the morning. She wished with all her might that everything would be back the way they use to be. Tears burned her eyes and rolled down her cheeks. She knew that it wouldn't happen. They had to fight for it, not wish for it. But was it worth it? Fighting for so little. The odds \ were already uneven, to the Black Moon's favor. Tommorow would be a new day, a new fight. Lita woke up, from a deep sleep. She felt like she slept for an eternity. One look out the window told her that it wasn't that long. The skies were still dark, the city still in ruins. She got dressed, and slowly walked down the stairs for breakfast. Everyone else was already seated. She took the only empty chair next to Mina, and stared at her plate. She saw that everyone else didn't get sleep last night. Dark circles were on everyone's eyes, including the two cats. Luna spoke up, "Reeni informed that she found the Sailor Scouts of the past. She also said that the Black Moon was after her. They know who she is. But she is not in any direct danger, the scouts are protecting her. Serenity looked at Luna, "At this rate, I think we can beat the Black Moon." Suddenly, the computer went on, showing the face of Wiseman. "I hope you are ready for a surprise. Since I am so nice, I will let you fight for Crystal Tokyo. It is of no use to me now. Six in the afternoon, if you are not there, then I will assume you no longer want it and I will take over. If you actually go there, you will have to fight my girls, and me, if you make it that far. If I lose, we will surrender ourselves. If you lose, we get Crystal Tokyo, and you will of course die." Wiseman challenged. The screen clicked off, and everything was silent. Rei broke the silence, "I know it's a trap, but if we don't go, it'll be the end." Darien said after a long silence, "We have to go. There is no choice. If we don't go, he will surely kill us, and Reeni." Luna typed some things into her computer and calculated some things. "Yes, we have to go. Everyone meet back here at 5:00 in the afternoon. Finish whatever you have to do. This is the FINAL battle. Either we do this willingly, or not do it at all. Any objections?" Everyone looked around, worried glances were exchanged. The unspoken question ligered. Ami finally spoke it, "Will we be reborn if we...you know." "Die?" Artemis said, "We will be reborn, but no one can be sure when or what we will be reborn to. There might not even be a future to be reborn in." "Why don't all of you go think about it? Anyone who doesn't want to go can just stay here when we leave at five thirty." Luna said. Everyone filed out of the room, moping every step of the way. Serenity was clutching Darien's hand tightly, as they walked out into the living quarters. Rei, Ami, Mina, and Lita walked into the gym. Lita angrily kicked at a punching bag. She didn't want it to end like this. There was so much she wanted to do. Mina and Rei just sat there, looking glum. Ami was busily typing on her computer trying to find an easy way into the Starlight Towers. Ken walked outside, and looked around. It was not much, but this was they were going to fight for. It was all they had, except hope and love. Lita's words echoed in his head. There was always hope and love. He sprinted into a jog, trying to blow off his steam. He tried to go farther out of the protected area, but there was no way. The forcefield protecting the tower they stayed in was also keeping everyone from going out. He ran hard and fast, feeling the wind whip against his face. Ken saw a figure standing about ten yards in front of him. He slowed down as he reached the figure. It was Serenity. She was looking at him, with an interest in her eye. "Are you done?" she asked. "Yeah." Ken said, feeling better, releasing all that stress that had built up. "I have something I have to ask you." "Yes?" "Do you want to fight? I mean, you can stay if you want. I saw the way you looked in the morning. It didn't look like you wanted to fight. What's wrong?" Serenity asked. "Serena." he spoke to her like she was just an average person, not the queen of Tokyo, "I want to fight. This is not much to fight for, but I still have to. It's my job. If I don't go, and something happens to Lita, I'll never forgive myself. I almost lost her once. I'm not about to let it happen again. I know that Lita's going to fight. I'm going, not only because of her, but also because of you. All of us scouts have a job at protecting the queen." "Okay. I just wanted to make sure. You do know that this isn't some ordinary fight. All of us will go in, but I can't guarantee that all of us will come out." Serenity shook her head sadly. "Yes. I know. But I am going to do all I can to make sure all of us can come out." Ken walked away with a slight wave, into the tower. He went into his room, and took out his most treasured item. It was a crystal on the end of a leather string. He tied it to his neck, hoping it would bring him good luck. Lita had given it to him, when they were just teenagers. Those were the good days, when you could still go outside, and see the sun. The real sun. 5:00 PM Luna sat nervously on a chair in the dining room. She hoped all the scouts would show up. Artemis was carelessly clawing on his cushion. The first to arrive was Sailor Mars. She took her place on the table. Next, came Mercury and Venus. Then Jupiter came in, followed by Jupiter Knight. Everyone looked at each other, thinking the same thing. Will Serenity and Darien come too? The answer came in through the door. Sailor Moon and Tuxeedo Mask were the last to come. Now that everyone was here, the decision was made. The fight for Earth has come. "I guess we should go." Sailor Moon said. "Yeah." Tuxeedo Mask got up, heading out the door. The others followed. They went into the control room, where a large orb lay, pulsing. Without saying a word, everyone placed a hand on the orb, obsorbing it's energy. When everyone was up to full energy, the force field protecting the tower was broken. They all walked out of the room, heading for the front door. Sailor Moon looked at the two cats. "You don't have to come. Stay here, and watch over the place." Sailor Moon told them "Nonsense." Artemis said, "We are coming with you. Don't try to rid of us." With that, the four scouts, Sailor Moon, Tuxeedo Mask, and two cats walked toward Starlight Towers. The street was deserted, only a few rats scampered about. Buildings were on fire, but most had already toppled, and not one tree was to be seen. Everyone had already deserted this hell, and left to another place. A safer place, for now. When they reached Starlight Towers, they stopped in front. The door was open, showing only darkness. "Should we go in this way? Or take the hard way?" Sailor Moon asked. "They expect us to go in the hard way." Sailor Jupiter mentioned. Sailor Moon cautiously made her way toward the dark door, peering in. Nothing but darkness. She took a step in, and let the others in. It was all dark. Dark and silent. Suddenly, the door closed behind them, and they were bathed in black darkness. "Are we still on Earth?" Sailor Venus tried to joke. There was a second of nervous and forced laughs, then once again, silence. All of them stood there, waiting for something to happen. They all spread out, feeling for a wall, a door, anything to rid of the dark. An earpiercing scream cut the silence. "Who was that?" Sailor Moon cried. Tuxeedo Mask instructed everyone, "Is everyone here?" "Sailor Moon." Sailor Moon said firmly. The others caught on and said their names, since no one could see a thing, not even the cats. "Mercury." "Venus." "Jupiter." "Knight." "Luna." "Artemis." They all waited for Sailor Mars, but they were greeted by eerie silence. "Sailor Mars!" Sailor Moon screamed. "Are you here? Speak to me!" Tuxeedo Mask tried soothing her, "She's gone. There is nothing you can do about it." "No! I want to go back!" Sailor Moon cried, running around hysteric- ally. "Sailor Moon! Calm yourself! There is no way back!" Artemis growled. Another scream was heard. "Who was it?" Sailor Jupiter asked. "They took Venus!" Sailor Mercury informed. "She was right next to me!" "Oh no. Everyone, quick. To the middle of the room." Tuxeedo Mask ordered. It was useless. No one had the same idea where the middle was. "Oh." Sailor Mercury said, when she felt herself being swallowed into a portal. "They got Mercury too! I hate this. I hate it!" Sailor Moon cried. Sailor Jupiter backed up against what felt like a wall. "Who is left?" she asked. "Tuxeedo Mask." Tux answered. "Moon and two cats." Sailor Moon said, holding Luna and Artemis firmly. Sailor Jupiter listened for Jupiter Knight. "Jupiter Knight. Are you there?" "He's gone." Sailor Moon grumbled. "We're all being picked out like flies." "No!" Sailor Jupiter shouted. "We can't give up. If we keep saying that we can't, soon we'll start believing it. We CAN!" Her last words faded as she too, was sucked into a portal opening. Sailor Jupiter shouted, "Sailor Moon, you can!" "All alone. We're all alone." Sailor Moon said in a melancholy tone. "No we're not. They're still with us. I can feel it." Tux said. "Follow my voice. Come to me." Sailor Moon walked toward Tuxeedo Mask, and meracously, they found each other. Tuxeedo Mask held Sailor Moon tightly. "I will never leave you. They won't either." he said. The ground beneath them opened, swallowing all of them into yet, another portal. To where? Sailor Mars blinked, when she was dropped onto the floor. She focused on a young lady, standing in front of her. Who was she? The lady spoke in a ragged voice, "Sailor Mars. I finally get to meet you. I am Katsy, the youngest of the four sisters." "Yeah? Well what do you want before I annialate you?" Sailor Mars challanged. "A bit proud aren't we? Well, I'll give you the first shot." Katsy said. Sailor Mars concentrated, "Mars...Fire...Ignite!" The fire rushed toward Katsy, but in a blink of an eye, Katsy ducked out of harm's way. "Is that all you've got? Learn from the master!" Katsy shot out daggers of black fire at Sailor Mars. Sailor Mars managed to duck the first three daggers, but the last one caught her in the arm, and she stumbled to the ground. "Hurts don't it?" Katsy asked, eyes twinkling with evil. She then threw her hand back, and sent Sailor Mars flying into the wall. Sailor Mars grunted as she hit the wall with full force. She felt a net surrounding her, and looked up. Katsy had somehow closed her over a net, and now she had no way out. She felt too tired to use any of her powers, and just kicked an punched. "Don't even try!" Katsy warned, and gave her a little zap in the head. Sailor Mars felt dizzy, and lied down. Sailor Venus was having the same kind of luck. Bad luck. She was jumping around, throwing her powers around blindly. Prisma, the oldest was dogding everything with time to spare. It looked like she was just trying to wear Sailor Venus out. "Are you done yet?" Prisma demanded. "No! Venus...love...chain!" Sailor Venus had already taken out her chain, but it was too late. Prisma grabbed hold of one end of the chain, and pulled it hard. Sailor Venus was slammed into a wall, and slid down. Prisma held out a net, and walked calmly toward Sailor Venus. "That's more like it." she said, as she covered Sailor Venus with the net. Sailor Venus didn't protest, she was too tired. Birdie was waiting impatiently for Sailor Mercury. She seemed to be typing something on the mini computer of hers. "That's it. I'm tired of waiting!" Birdie shouted. "Ice wind of the north! I command you!" Birdie threw the icy wind at Sailor Mercury. Luckily, she dodged it just in time. The wall in back of her froze solid, and cracked. "Mercury Bubbles!" Sailor Mercury shouted. The whole room clouded with thick white fog. Birdie was not at all worried. "Do you think this is going to stop me?" she laughed and evil laugh. A gust of wind blew the fog away, revealing Birdie in the middle of the room. She threw a huge ball of ice at Sailor Mercury. Unable to duck in time, Sailor Mercury was struck by the ice. She slumped down and said, "Let's call a truce...I'm too exhausted." Birdie laughed in her face. She knew that the Sailor Scouts were weak, but she didn't know they were this weak. She entangled Sailor Mercury in some sort of net, and dragged her toward a large oak door that led to some other room. Sailor Jupiter was having more luck fighting Avery. So far, she had not been hit. Yet. "Jupiter... Thunder..Clap! Zap!" she threw one of the thunder claps at Avery, but missed. "Wimpy humans. Do you think this is going to be easy?" Avery challenged. Sailor Jupiter growled, "We know this is easy!" Just then, the other three sisters came in, dragging three scouts in a net. "Sister! We've got them." Katsy called out. "Good. Dump them in that box!" Avery shouted, indicating a crystal clear box in the back of the room. "Scouts! Can you hear me?" Sailor Jupiter shouted and ran over to where they were. Birdie used a foot, and kicked her away. Sailor Jupiter went flying across the room. "Do you want to join them? Or do you want to do it the hard way?" Avery asked in a sugar coated voice. "I'll get you for that!" Sailor Jupiter said, her voice as hard as steel. "Get her sisters!" Avery commanded. All four sisters dove to Sailor Jupiter, kicking a scratching. But Sailor Jupiter knew what to do in those fights. She shoved everyone away, and kicked anything that moved. She kicked Prisma in the eye so hard, that she flew into the opposite wall. "EHhh! She gave me a black eye!" Prisma screamed. "You'll be sorry!" Prisma shot out black bolts of nega-energy at Sailor Jupiter. Quick as a rabbit, Jupiter dove out of the way, into Birdie. Birdie siezed the chance and took hold of Sailor Jupiter by the arms. "Let go of me!" she ordered. Sailor Jupiter kicked and fought hard. Katsy ran to help Birdie hold Sailor Jupiter down. "This one is tough!" Avery commented. Prisma walked up to Sailor Jupiter, and looked her right in the face. She stared hard at Sailor Jupter. "Now it's payback time!" Sailor Jupiter spat at Prisma's face. In a split second, Prisma brought her hand out and slapped her across the face. "Never do that again!" Sailor Jupiter had the wind knocked out of her, but she was still full of fight. "Filth! Negaverse filth!" she growled at them. "I'm not going to take this from a human!" Avery shouted back. "Hold her, sisters!" Avery gathered so much energy that she began to glow. She aimed her hands at Sailor Jupiter, and shot. A beam of black energy went straight towards Sailor Jupiter, and hit her so hard, that she and the two sisters holding her went crashing to the wall. "No! Sailor Jupiter!" Sailor Mars shouted from inside the box. She saw the whole thing. She didn't think that Sailor Jupiter could take all that. "Just give up!" Sailor Mercury yelled. Ofcourse, the scouts couldn't get out of the box to help Sailor Jupiter, but they tried so hard to break out. The box was so solid. "Listen to your friends. Are you going to give up?" Prisma asked. "Never." groaned Sailor Jupiter. She tried to stand up, but felt her knees buckle. She fell down onto the floor again. Avery prepared herself to strike at Sailor Jupiter again, when something wierd happened... Meanwhile, in the other room, Jupiter Knight was having his own troubles fighting Rubeus. Everytime he struck out at Rubeus, he would just disappear and reappear at a different part of the room. "Come down here and fight like a man!" Jupiter Knight ordered. "You mean like a human? Why fight, when you can use powers?" Rubeus laughed. He threw shards of black energy at Jupiter Knight, hoping that one would get into his eyes and blind him. Jupiter Knight lifter his cape up, and covered himself with it. The shards were practically harmless. When he lifted his cape up, he saw Rubeus wasn't smiling anymore. "What's happening?" Rubeus screamed. He was starting to fade. He felt weaker by the second. Jupiter Knight was confused now. Why was Rubeus looking like that? He could practically see through him. "No!" Rubeus cried, and he disappeared in a puff of smoke that just erupted. Jupiter Knight took that chance to run out of the room, into the other room looking for the scouts. All the scouts trapped in the box saw Birdie disappear. One minute, she was there, the other minute, she was gone. Then, Katsy disappeared. The same thing happened to Prisma, then Avery. Now, they were all alone in the room. Sailor Jupiter saw only Avery disappear. The next thing she knew, Sailor Mars kicked the glass box they were in, and glass flew everywhere. All the scouts rushed to her, and hugged her. "Are you alright?" Sailor Mercury asked. "Yes." "Good. Let's go find the others." Sailor Venus ordered. Footsteps sounded at the door, coming nearer. All the scouts turned around and saw Jupiter Knight running toward them. "Rubeus disappeared!" he shouted. "The four sisters did too." Sailor Mercury shouted back. That was when Jupiter Knight saw Sailor Jupiter on the floor. He rushed to her, and knelt down. "Oh my god. What happened?" he asked. Sailor Jupiter tried to stand up, "Nothing. I just got a whipping by the four sisters." She almost got up, but her knees started to shake again. Jupiter Knight put his arms around her waist, and supported her. She finally got up, and walking. "Let's go find Sailor Moon!" she said. The other scouts ran in front of her, toward the only remaining door not open. It opened with a squeak, revealing bright blinding light. "Should we go in?" Sailor Mars asked, squinting into the room. "Let's go." Jupiter Knight said, still holding Sailor Jupiter. All of them walked blindly into the room, into what was probably the center of the room. As they got closer to the center, the light began to dim, and they could actually see. What they saw was Princess Serenity and Prince Darien holding up the silver imperium crystal. Coming from the crystal was a pure white beam, aimed at Wiseman. Wiseman was holding his orb which was emitting a black beam of light clashing with the white one. "We have to help them. Combine your powers!" Sailor Mars said. "Mars Star Power!" "Mercury Star Power!" "Venus Star Power!" Sailor Jupiter walked out of Jupiter Knight's hold, and shouted, "Jupiter Star Power." "Jupiter Nite Power!" Beams of every differet color shot into the Silver Emperium Crystal. The white beam got more powerful with time, pushing the black beam back. They stood like this for a long time, sending all their energy into the crystal. Sailor Jupiter, who was already drained of her energy, thanks to the four sisters, fell onto the ground, and stayed there. Every muscle in Jupiter Knight's body wanted to go and pick her up, but he knew that this was the fate of Earth. If he was to do that, then that would risk losing Earth. He concentrated on the crystal. Inch by inch, the white beam was getting closer to Wiseman. Finally, Wiseman was hit, and a huge explosion shook the place. The explosion sent all the scouts flying back, and Sailor Jupiter was thrown back into a wall with a sickening thud. Wiseman was no more. All the scouts were unconscious for a few minutes, then slowly, they began to wake up. All except Sailor Jupiter. Jupiter Knight moaned, when he tried to get up, then he looked over at Sailor Jupiter. He quickly got up, ignoring all the pain his body was in, and rushed to her. "Sailor Jupiter! Can you hear me?" he shouted. She was bleeding from every pore in her body, it seemed. The others crowded around those two. "Can you heal her?" Sailor Mercury asked Sailor Moon. Luna came up, from the rock she was hiding behind. "No. The moon healing won't work for the scouts." she said sadly. Sailor Venus and Mars started to cry quietly. Sailor Jupiter looked dead. Sailor Moon just held on to Tuxeedo Mask, praying that there was a way. Jupiter Knight took Sailor Jupiters small hands in his own hands, covered with white gloves. He took the gloves off, which were beginning to soak with blood. He held her hands tightly in his hands, and prayed for her to be alright. "Please Lita, I'll never give up hope. Please wake up!" he whispered. His hands began to glow a strange bright color. The color transfered from his body, into hers. "What's happening?" Sailor Moon asked Luna. "He's transfering his energy into hers." Luna said. Sailor Mars thought and mentioned, "Can't we give her some of our energy?" "No. Only he can, he is her protector." Artemis said, shaking his head. Sailor Venus broke down crying, "But isn't there anything we can do to help her?" "Just stand back." instructed Luna. Jupiter Knight and Sailor Jupiter were starting to float off of the ground, going higher and higher. He clutched her weak and battered body closer to him, and felt his power draining. With a burst of green light, both fell to the ground. Jupiter Knight was still holding Sailor Jupiter's hands in his. "Please. Don't leave me." Sailor Jupiter's eyes fluttered slightly, and squeezed Jupiter Knight's hands. "She's going to be okay." Luna sighed happily. All the scouts joined hands, with the two Jupiters in the middle, and shouted, "Scout Teleport!" Lita woke up with a huge headache. Both her hands were bandaged and bleeding. She looked out towards the balcony, and saw something that she never thought she would see again. Two things. Ken, and sunlight. She got up slowly, wincing with pain, and made her way toward Ken, who was standing with his back towards her. She slid her arms around him, and hugged his back. Ken turned around, his face beaming. "We did it. We won!" he said happily. Lita hugged him tighter, "I always knew we would." Ken looked down at her. Her eyes still had that spark, and aside from the bandaged hands on his back, she was back. "Thank you for giving me hope again. For finding love." he said softly. Ken lowered his lips to meet hers, and kissed her deeply. "Looks who's back to their normal selves again!" Serenity's voice rang throughout the tower. Ken and Lita seperated, and blushed. Serenity always had a habit of coming in at the wrong times. The scouts all waited on the lush green grass. One cloud above them opened, and out dropped Reeni. "I'm home!" the pink haired girl shouted. How was the story? Send any comments to: Jupiter101@hotmail.com Any ideas on future stories?
