Chapter 1 : Second chance

Somewhere, in a different time and place, a meeting was being held.
The ruler of this place was sitting on her thrown, waiting impatiently
for her guards to come back with the one who failed. A few minutes
later, the guards came back with a man with white hair and dark eyes.
He was dressed with a back robe and a scar was on his left cheek.

- "It's about time, said the ruler. Guards, leave us !"

- "Yes my Queen", said the two guards, leaving the room quietly.

- "It's been a while, hasn't it ?" said the ruler.

- "It has my Queen", said the man.

- "The last time I saw you was when I had punished you for failling me
! said the ruler. You have been in a eternal sleep for quite a while."

- "In deed !" said the man.

- "The sailor scouts gave you quite a fight, if I remember right, said
the ruler. Especially Sailor Moon. You failed to get the silver
crystal and you failed the deliver me the sailor scouts."

- "Yes my Queen", said the man, looking in the Queen's eyes.

- "Maybe you would like to have another chance at them? asked the
ruler. Many of my servants have failed to finished the scouts but you
came pretty close in doing so..."

- "I did my Queen and I would like a second chance at them", said the
man.

- "Then you have it, said the ruler. But don't failed me twice... it
will not be a eternal sleep that you will get."

- "I understand my Queen", said the man.

- "Then go !!" the ruler said, opening a portal for the man.

- "I will not failed you my Queen", said the man, entering the portal.

- "You better not, said the ruler. I still have something that you
want very deeply."

- "Hi Lita, said Serena on the phone, how are you ? How is your cold ?"

- "Not very good, said Lita, coughing. I still have a very high fever
and I'm having trouble sleeping. Also, I've been having these strange
nightmares about us lately."

- "I'm sorry Lita, said Serena, sincerely. Maybe I can go to your
house and make you feel better ! You can tell me about your nightmares
and..."

- "I don't think it's a good idea Serena, said Lita. My mom won't let
anyone in. She wants me to get some rest and she didn't went to work
to day to make sure that I do."

- "Oh... I'm sure that's all you need Lita, said Serena. Get some rest
and I'll call you later to check on you alright ?"

- "Thanks Serena, said Lita, you are a real friend."

Hanging up the phone, Serena was beginning to be really worried about
her friend. But then she thought about how strong Lita was and her
fears went away.

- "I should take a nap before going to the temple", thought Serena, as
she curled up on her bed. "Just a little nap..."

- "Where am I ?" said Serena, waking up in a strange and unfamiliar
place.

Looking around, she saw building falling apart and there was no one to
be seen for miles. Getting up, she brushed off the grass that she had
on herself and she started walking around.

- "This looks like the park down town, said Serena to herself. Where
is everyone ? It's so cold and dark here..."

- "Help me !!!" yelled a voice, not far away

- "Someone is in trouble !! yelled Serena. Moon Crystal Power !!!"

Transforming into Sailormoon, she started running in the direction
that she thought the voice came from.

- "Help me !!!" repeated the voice.

- "Jupiter ??? Is that you ?" yelled Sailormoon, still running through
the bushes.

- "Sailormoon !!!! Help me !!!!!" yelled the voice again.

Suddenly, Sailormoon stopped and she was horrified of what she saw.
Jupiter was in chains, tied to a tree next to the lake. Her sailor
outfit was thorned apart and there was blood running down her legs.

- "Sailormoon, yelled Jupiter. Be careful, he might be still here !!"

- "Who ?" asked Sailormoon, running toward Jupiter.

- "I don't know who he is, started Jupiter. His voice is very familiar
though."

- "Let me get you out of these chains", said Sailormoon, getting her
moon sceptor ready.

- "Sailormoon !!! yelled Jupiter. Behind you !!!!!"

- "What the..." said Sailormoon, dogging the energy wave that almost
hit her.

- "She is mine, said a dark voice. You will all follow, one at the
time !!"

- "Nooooooooo......"

- "Nooooooo...... I won't let you...."

Suddenly, Serena's door opened and her mom came running in the room.
Trying to wake up her daughter, Luna came running in the room,
wondering what was wrong.

- "Serena !!! yelled her mother. Serena wake up !! You're having a
nightmare !!"

- "What time is it mom", asked Serena, waking up out of breath. "What
a strange dream...."

- "It's almost six honey, said her mother. You have a phone call."

- "WHAT !!!!! yelled Serena, getting out of bed. I over slept !! Raye
is gonna be sooooooo mad !!!"

- "Here is the phone, said her mother, leaving the room. I think it's
your friend Amy."

- "Thanks mom, said Serena. Hello ?"

- "Serena ?? It's Amy."

- "I know I'm late Amy !! said Serena. I'm on my way now and..."

- "Serena !! yelled Amy on the phone, forget about that. Lita is in
the hospital and ..."

- "What ??? yelled Serena. Why ? I just talked to her and ..."

- "Her situation has gotten worst, said Amy. We are all going down
there now."

- "I'll meet you there then !" said Serena.

- "We should be there in 15 min, said Amy. See you there."

- "Right", said Serena, hanging up the phone.

- "Serena, started Luna. What's wrong ?"

- "Come on Luna !! yelled Serena, tyring to get her shoes on. Lita is
in the hospital. Her cold must have gotten worst. Let's go !"

Running out of her house, Serena and Luna kept on running toward the
hospital. Turning at the cross road, Serena bumped into guy with a
green jacket and some black pants.

- "Ouch !! yelled Serena. Why don't you..."

- "Serena !?"

- "Darien !! said Serena, hugging him. Am I glad to see you !"

- "Why are you so in a hurry Serena ?" asked Darien, helping Serena
up. "It's not a school day !!"

- "Lita is in the hospital because of her cold and it seems like it's
pretty bad", said Serena.

- "Come on then, let's go !" said Darien, taking Serena's hand.

- "Right !!" said Serena, running side by side with Darien.

Pushing the front door of the hospital, Serena looked around and saw
Mina, Amy and Raye, sitting in the emergency room. Running toward
them, she noticed that something was wrong.

- "Where is Lita ?" asked Serena.

- "Serena, started Raye, you better sit down."

- "I don't want to sit down !!! yelled Serena. Where is Lita ? Is she
alright ?"

- "Lita's mom brought her in a few hours ago, started Amy. The doctors
didn't know why she wasn't responding to the treatments. They thought
that it was just a small cold but..."

- "But what ?? yelled Serena. Where is she ?"

- "I'm sorry, said Amy, crying. She's..... she's...."

- "She's what ?" asked Serena, thinking of the worst.

- "She's dead, said Mina, crying too. The doctors couldn't save her..."

- "Nooooooo......!!!! yelled Serena, falling on her knees. How can
someone die of a simple cold ?"

- "I don't know Serena, said Amy, I don't..."

- "This isn't true !! yelled Serena. You're lying !!"

- "Serena, started Raye. This is no joke."

- "Noooo....." yelled Serena, crying in Darien's arms.

Everyone stood in silence, feeling the pain of the lost their friend.
They held each other close, hoping that the pain will go away....

- "My plan is working perfectly, said a man, watching them in the
hospital. Soon, I will able to take my revenge on them... and to the
one who put me into a eternal sleep. They will all pay deeply.... one
at the time..."

Chapter 2 : The lost of a friend ?


Sitting on her bed, crying, Serena thought about the lost of her
friend. She had never felt a lost like this one and she knew that it
had to be more than just a simple cold. "But what could it be ?"
thought Serena, turning her head toward the window. Suddenly, a knock
was heard from her door.

- "Serena dear, Amy is on the phone and she wants to talk to you",
said her mother, opening the door.

- "Mom !! I told you that I didn't want to see or talk to anyone right
now, Serena screamed. Go away !!"

Darien had called twice this evening, than Mina and Raye. She didn't
want to talk to anyone. She wanted to be left alone. How can this be
so hard to understand ?

- "But Serena, continued her mom, Amy said that Lita isn't dead and..."

- "What ???? yelled Serena, jumping out of bed. Give me the phone !!!"

- "Here you go", said her mother, smiling as she closed the door,
leaving Serena alone with Luna.

- "Amy !!! yelled Serena. How is Lita ?? What happened ?"

- "Well, started Amy, it seems that, when they started doing the
autopsy, they noticed that she wasn't really dead. Except for the fact
that she's not breathing, everything else is ok. They've got her on a
machine that is helping her to stay alive. They think that it's some
kind of a deep coma."

- "Oh... said Serena. But she's not dead right ?"

- "Right ! said Amy. We can only hope now that she gets better."

- "That's good news !" said Serena.

- "There's gonna be a meeting tomorrow at the temple, at noon, said
Amy. Be there !"

- "I will, said Serena, drying her tears. Good night Amy and thanks
for calling."

- "No problem, said Amy. Good night !"

Hanging up the phone, Serena was feeling much better. She wanted to
called Darien but thought that it might be too late so she decided to
go to bed. Pulling her blanket, she jumped into bed, happy to know
that her friend might have a chance. "Tomorrow is a new day" thought
Serena, closing the light. "Please get well soon Lita..."

- "Where am I ?" asked Serena, looking around her.

Noticing the trees in the park, the smell and the houses, she knew
where she was.

- "This is the dream that I had last night" thought Serena, getting up
from the grown.

Walking through the park, she noticed that everything was the same. No
one seem to be around. "Lita !!" she thought. "She was in the park
!!!" Running toward the spot that she had seen Sailor Jupiter, Serena
transformed. "Moon Crystal Power" Striking her pose, she continued
running into the bushes.

- "Help me...." someone whispered.

- "Hang on Jupiter, yelled Sailormoon, I'm coming ! I'm almost ....
ouch !!" she screamed, bumping into something.

- "Sailor Mars ?!? yelled Sailormoon, helping her up. What are you
doing here ?"

- "I was gonna ask you the same thing Sailormoon, said Mars. Where are
we ?"

- "I've had this dream before, started Sailormoon. Jupiter was here
and..."

- "Guys !!"

- "Mercury !! Venus !! yelled Sailormoon. Everyone is here !"

- "Where are we ? asked Mercury. I can't get any reading here and..."

- "No time for that Mercury, yelled Sailormoon who started running
again. Jupiter needs us ! Come on !"

Following Sailormoon, the scouts started running, wondering where they
where headed. Suddenly, they saw Jupiter, tied to a tree, unconscious.

- "We have to help her !" yelled Sailormoon, running toward Jupiter.

- "Wait Sailormoon, said Mercury. This might be a trap".

- "You haven't change, have you Mercury ?" whispered a voice.

- "Who's there ?" yelled Mars.

- "Don't you remember me Sailor Mars", said the voice.

- "Why are we here ? yelled Venus, looking around her. What have you
done with Jupiter ?"

- "You'll find out, said the voice, but not tonight..."

- "Mars !! yelled Sailormoon, look out !!!"

- "What the... ?" said Mars, dogging the bolt of energy by not much.

- "Show yourself !!" yelled Mars, preparing her attack.

- "But I'm right here", said the voice. I'm right in front of you."

- "We'll see about that !" yelled Mars. "Mars Celestrial fire surround."

The fire went flying right in front of her, but it didn't hit
anything. Suddenly, a mist formed near a big old tree.

- "It doesn't look human" said Mercury.

- "Let's find out !!" said Venus. "Venus love chain encircle."

- "Can't you do better than that Venus !" said the voice.

- "My attack went right through him !!" yelled Venus.

- "Let's try all together !" yelled Mercury.

"Mercury bubbles blast"
"Mars Celestrial fire surround"
"Venus love chain encircle"

The combination went flying toward the mist but it had no effect on
him. Shocked, they all turned to Sailormoon.

- "Sailormoon !! yelled Mars. Use your scepter !!"

- "Right !!" said Sailormoon. Moon Scepter Elimination."

The attack vanished behind the mist, not affecting it at all. Growing,
the mist turned toward Venus.

- "Get out of here... whispered a voice. Don't let him get to you..."

- "It's your turn ..." said the mist. "Mystify ray surround"

The attack struck Venus and she went flying into the bushes. Running
toward her, Mars and Mercury tried to help her get up.

- "I'm alright, said Venus. Just a little bit weak. That really hurt !"

- "You haven't seen the worst of it !" said the mist, disappearing
into the air.

- "Where did it go ?" yelled Sailormoon.

- "I don't know but I don't feel so well", said Mercury.

- "Me either", said Venus.

- "What's happening..." said Sailormoon, falling on the grown. "This
is no time to sleep!!"

Falling one by one, the scouts were lying on the grown, left there, in
the silent of the night....

Waking up in sweat, Serena put her hand on her mouth to prevent her
from screaming. Waking up Luna, Serena started shaking but it wasn't
cold in her room.

- "Serena... whispered Luna, waking up. What's wrong?"

- "Something terrible has happened", started Serena.

- "What is i..." tried to asked Luna but the communicator went off.

- "Guys !! said Serena, picking up the communicator, did you see what
I saw ?"

- "We sure did !" said Amy.

- "What happened ?" asked Raye. "Why did we all have the same dream ?"

- "I don't know", said Mina, coughing.

- "Do you think that there's a link between what we just saw and what
happen to Lita ?" asked Amy.

- "This is way too wierd !!" said Serena. "What does it mean ?"

- "Alright, started Raye. Tomorrow, at the meeting, we are gonna try
to find out what's going on. I'll have the fire ready for a reading."

- "Good idea, said Mina, still coughing. Let's try and get some rest
and we will meet tomorrow. God ! I'm so tired."

- "Are you alright ?" asked Serena, worried.

- "I'm just tired, said Mina, blowing out her nose. I'll see you guys
tomorrow."

- "Wait a minute...", said Raye.

- "Mina, you're coughing and sneezing", said Amy.

- "Oh no.... said Serena. Lita started out like that..."

- "You don't think that..." started Mina, afraid to finish her phrase.

Everyone stood in silence, looking at each other in the communicator,
fearing the worst...

Chapter 3 : Desperation


Somewhere, in another place and time, a man walked into his Queen
thrown room. Walking towards her, he kneeled in front of her, waiting
her orders.

- "The plan is going too slow, said the angry Queen. You must speed
things up. NOW !!"

- "Yes my Queen, said the man, I will not fail you."

- "I want the princess !!! yelled the Queen. The scouts are nothing
without her and they will not stop me once I have her."

- "Yes my Queen", said the man, brushing off his white hair.

- "Once we have the princess, her soul will be able to free us from
this infernal hell, whispered the Queen. She stopped me once, but she
will not do it again. Understood ?"

- "Yes my Queen", said the man, walking out of the room."

- "You better not failed me again...." said the Queen, watching him
leave.

The next day, everyone was at the temple for the meeting. Sitting
around the fire, looking at the clock, Raye started to get impatient.
Only Amy was on time and there was no word about Serena or Mina.
Suddenly, the door of the temple opened and Serena came rushing in.

- "Sorry I'm late guys !! started Serena, out of breath. My alarm
clock didn't went off and .... Hey ! What's wrong ?"

- "Mina isn't here yet, said Amy. She's never late for a meeting !"

- "I'm gonna call her", said Raye, walking to the phone.

- "You don't think that..." started Serena, unable to finished her
phrase.

- "I don't know, said Amy, worried about her friend. I hope she's
alright."

- "Hello, said Raye, can I speak to Mina please... Oh... I see...
Well, when she wakes up, can you tell her that I called ? Thank you,
bye."

- "Well ???" asked Serena.

- "It seems that she has a small cold, started Raye. She sleeping
right now."

- "Right !!! yelled Serena. A small cold !! That's what happened to
Lita and now she's in a coma !!"

- "Serena, said Luna, jumping on Serena's lap. We don't know for sure
that..."

- "She's gonna die !!! continued Serena. Nooooo...."

- "SERENA !!! yelled Raye. Stop crying !!!! We don't know for sure
that it's the same thing as Lita. Let's wait and ..."

- "Wait ?!? I'm not gonna wait until my friend dies to find out okay
Raye ? We can't just sit around doing nothing", she added, getting up.

- "Serena, started Amy, calm down. Let's do a fire reading and find
out who is behind this and, after that, we will act on it. Okay ?"

- "Sure..." cried Serena, drying out her tears. I'm sorry... I didn't
get much sleep last night."

- "None of us did, said Raye. I'm gonna make us some hot chocolate and
after that we will do the reading."

- "Thanks Raye", said Serena.

Walking out of the room, Raye went into the kitchen to prepare the hot
chocolate. Waiting for the chocolate to be warm, a tear fell on her
cheek. "I hope that Serena's wrong about this" whispered Raye, drying
out her tears. "I hope so..."

A few minutes later, Raye came back into the room with the hot
chocolates. Opening the door, she stood in horror at what she saw.
Dropping the cups on the floor, she ran towards her friends, laying on
the floor.

- "No !!! yelled Raye. This is not the time to fall asleep !! Wake up
!! Wake up !!!"

She shook Serena, Amy and Luna as hard as she could. They were all
fast asleep on the floor, near the fire. She couldn't wake them up.

- "You can't go in there with out me !! yelled Raye. Please wait !!!
I'm coming !!" she added, curling herself on the floor, waiting to
dream....

- "Where are we ?" asked Luna, getting up.

- "Nooo !!! yelled Serena. Not again !!"

- "We are in the dream, said Amy, looking around. We should
transformed Serena."

- "I don't want to !! yelled Serena. You know what's gonna happen !!
Someone else will die !!"

- "Serena ! yelled Amy. We have to transform if we are ever gonna save
them !!"

- "You're right, said Serena. Let's do it !!"

- "Transform !!" yelled Luna.

"Moon Crystal Power"
"Mercury Star Power"

Transformed, they started running toward the place in the park were
they last saw Jupiter. Running through the bushes, they suddenly
stopped. 

- "No !!! He's got Venus too !!" yelled Sailormoon, looking at Mina,
tied down in the grass.

- "She doesn't look awake" said Mercury, getting out her computer.
Jupiter either."

- "Don't worry Venus, I'm coming !!" yelled Sailormoon, running toward
Mina.

- "No Sailormoon ! yelled Mercury. This might be a trap."

- "Right as always", said a voice.

Suddenly, a blast came from the trees, heading right for Sailormoon.

- "Oh no you don't !! yelled Sailormoon, dogging the attack. Moon
Scepter elimination !"

The attack went flying into the trees but it didn't hit anything.
Catching up with Sailormoon, Mercury started scanning Venus to see if
she could get any information.

- "Show yourself !!!" yelled Sailormoon.

- "Sailormoon... you have to... get out of here..." whispered Venus,
waking up.

- "Venus ! yelled Mercury. Do you know who is behind this ?"

- "Yes... whispered Venus. It's M...."

- "Not yet my friends !" said the voice, launching a energy bolt at
them.

- "Sailormoon !!! yelled Luna. Look out !!!"

- "Noooo..." yelled Sailormoon, closing her eyes.

Pushing her out of the way, Mercury flew right into a tree. Trying to
get up, she saw in horror that the mist was right over Sailormoon.

- "Mercury !!!!" yelled Sailormoon.

- "Behind you...." yelled Luna.

- "Noooo..." yelled Sailormoon, turning around toward the mist.

- "Now my dear, said the mist, I will have what I truly came for...
YOU !"

"Mars Celestrial Fire Surround"

The attack went right through the mist and gave Sailormoon the chance
to run away from it. 

- "Sailor Mars !!" yelled Sailormoon, jumping up and down.

- "My attack didn't even hurt him !!" yelled Mars.

- "Guys...."

- "Mercury !! yelled Mars, running toward her. Are you okay ?"

- "Mercury..." crying Sailormoon, trying to help her up.

- "It's too late for me... said Mercury. You are gonna have to figure
out this one by yourselves..."

- "Don't say that Mercury, cried Sailormoon. You can't leave us... We
need you !!"

- "I'm sorry..." she whispered, closing her eyes.

- "Nooooooooooo !!!!!"

Waking up in the temple, Serena ran toward Amy, laying on the floor,
unconscious. Raye and Luna tried to wake her up but with no luck.

- "Serena !! yelled Raye. Call for a ambulance !! Now!"

- "Nooo... cried Serena. She's dead..."

- "Serena !! yelled Luna. Do it !!"

Calling for a ambulance, Serena look at her lifeless friend. "This is
all my fault, thought Serena. He wanted me, not them. Now, they are
dying and it's all because of me."

A few minutes later, they were at the hospital, waiting for a doctor
to tell them what was going on. But they already knew...

Finally, the doctor came out of Amy's room and walked into her friends
direction.

- "How is she ?" asked Raye, holding Serena in her arms.

- "I'm sorry, said the doctor. It seems that she has fallen into a
deep coma and..."

- "Nooooo... cried Serena. This can't be happening."

- "I'm sorry, said the doctor. That makes two today. Another girl came
here this afternoon and she fell into a coma too. We'll keep you
posted if anything else turns up", he added, walking away from them.

- "This is all my fault", cried Serena, holding Luna in her arms.

- "This is no one's fault Serena !!" said Raye, getting up.

- "You don't understand... continued Serena. He wants me... only me...
he told me and now everyone is dying because of me..."

- "Serena !! yelled Raye. This is not your fault !!"

- "Yes it is... said Serena, pushing Raye away. This is all my fault..."

- "Serena !!"

But it was too late. Serena was already running down the stairs,
heading out side. Pushing on the door, she kept running down the
street, crying.

- "This is all my fault !!" she yelled.

Stopping at the corner of the street, Serena look at the sky. Still
crying, she started thinking about her friends. "There's only one way
to get them back, thought Serena. I know what I have to do..."

Running in the city, Raye and Luna couldn't find Serena anywhere. 

- "We have to find her, said Luna. She thinks that she's responsible
for all of this. We have to make sure she's okay."

- "I know Luna, said Raye. But we have searched everywhere. The
arcades, her home, the park... I hope she's okay."

- "Let's keep looking" said Luna, running with Raye.

Soon, they found themselves in front of Crystal Tower. Sitting down to
catch their breath, they started thinking of new places that she might
be.

- "We've ran across the town and we still didn't find her, said Raye.
Where could she be ?"

- "It's been an hour now, thought Luna out loud. Oh Serena..."

Stretching her arms in the air, Raye saw someone way up in the tower.
Getting up to have a better look, she screamed in horror.

- "Serena !!!! yelled Raye. Nooooooo!!!!!!"

- "Oh my god, said Luna, looking at her. Serena !!"

- "We have to get up there !!" yelled Raye, running into the tower.

- "Let's take the stairs Raye so she won't hear us," said Luna.

- "Right, said Raye. Please hold on Serena..."

At the top of the tower, Serena walked near the edge, looking at the
beautiful view of the city. She knew she had to do this. By giving up
her life, she would be able to save her friends. Lita, Mina, Amy...
"Don't worry my friends, Serena said, you will all be free soon."

- "Serena !! yelled Raye, reaching the top of the tower, don't do it !"

- "I have to, said Serena, turning to face Raye. I'm sorry that it has
to be this way Raye. Forgive me."

- "Serena, yelled Raye. You won't free them by killing yourself !"

- "It's the only way, said Serena, crying softly. You will always be
in my heart Raye. You were my best friend."

- "Serena, yelled Raye, crying, you can't do this !! We will find a
way to get them back."

- "Please tell Darien for me that I love him, said Serena, turning
toward the edge. I will always be with you guys, no matter what."

- "Serena !! Don't !!"

But it was too late. Serena jumped from the edge and a long scream
filled the air. Running to the edge, Raye and Luna watched helplessly
as their friend fell to her death.

- "SERENA !!!! Noooooooooo........"

Chapter 4 : Trading lives


As she fell into emptiness, Serena thought about her friends and it
made her feel happy, knowing that they will be alright... or would
they ? "What if I'm wrong ? she thought. What if this isn't the right
way ? How can I know for sure ?"


- "Noooooooo...." she screamed, closing her eyes as the grown grew
closer.

- "Serena !!!!" someone yelled.

- "Darien !!!" Serena yelled as she and Darien hit the grown hardly.

- "Oh.... my head..." Serena whispered, putting her hand on her fore
head.

- "Serena !! Are you okay ?" asked Darien, helping her get up. "What
were you thinking ??"

- "I'm... I'm sorry..." she cried on his shoulder.

Running out of the tower, Raye and Luna rushed over to see if everyone
was alright. Seeing them holding each other, they were revealed.

- "Are you guys alright ?" asked Luna, running up to them.

- "Just a few scratches," Darien said.

- "Serena !! yelled Raye, drying her tears off. What the hell were you
thinking, leaving us like this ??"

- "I miss them so badly..." cried Serena.

- "And killing yourself would have made things better?" yelled Raye,
angry at what she had done. "You of all people should know better than
that !!!"

- "Raye..." started Darien.

- "Well I'm sorry Raye that I'm not as strong as you!! Serena snapped
at her. I guess I was thinking of my friends and not me !!!"

- "Serena... started Raye. I'm sorry... I didn't mean to be... Hey ???
You're bleeding !!" she yelled, watching Serena remove her hand from
her head.

- "It's nothing, said Serena, looking at the blood on her hands. Oh...
I'm so dizzy."

- "We should get her to a hospital" said Darien, carrying Serena in
his arms.

- "No !!! yelled Serena. I don't want to go to a hospital. No !!!"

- "Okay stop yelling, said Raye. Let's go back at the temple and we
will take care of it."

Heading back at the temple, Serena wondered if not dying was the right
thing to do. "What if I could have save them ? What are we gonna do
now..." she thought, falling asleep in Darien's arms.

Back at the temple, Serena was laying in Raye's bed, half awake. She
could still feel the pain on her head but at least it had stop
bleeding. Listening, she could hear Raye, Luna and Darien talking in
the other room.

- "Raye, asked Darien. What happened ? Why would she try something
like this ?"

- "She must be feeling guilty about everything, started Raye. I can
understand how she feels, I've been feeling like that too."

- "But killing herself ? asked Darien, shaking his head. This is not
like her."

- "I know, said Raye, thinking. But we haven't been getting alot of
sleep lately because of the nightmares. Maybe she's just tired."

- "But how can she rest if the dreams are taking you one at the time
?" asked Luna, nervously.

- "To be honest, I really don't know what to do anymore..." said Raye.
"I miss them so much and I'm so tired that I don't know what to do
anymore."

- "We better find something soon, said Darien. Or else no one will be
left standing."

- "I know..." said Raye.

Crying on her pillow, Serena listened as they talked about what to do.
She didn't knew either and she knew that she must not fall asleep
again. She had to stay awake. "But I'm so tired... thought Serena,
closing her eyes. I can't sleep..... I just can't...."

Waking up, Serena started screaming her head off.

- "No !!! Not again !!!" she yelled, recognizing were she was. "Raye
!!! Darien !! Luna !!! Help me !!"

No one answered her calls. Serena transformed and she started walking
in the direction were she last saw her friends. Coming at the path,
she stopped.

- "Maybe I shouldn't go there, thought Sailormoon. Maybe there's
another way."

Looking around her, she noticed a small path, heading north. "I'll try
this way", thought Sailormoon. Walking up the path, she noticed that a
strange red and yellow light was shining at the end. Walking up
slowly, she stopped behind a bunch of bushes. Hiding behind,
Sailormoon couldn't believe what she was seeing. Kneeling down, a man
with white long hair and a cape was talking at the light.

- "Soon, I will have her, he said to the light. Mmmmm...." he thought,
looking over his shoulder. "But I'm afraid that the Sailorscouts won't
be alive much longer."

- "No !!!! yelled Sailormoon, jumping out of the bushes. I am
Sailormoon and in the name of the moon, I will punished you !!!"

- "I've heard that one before," said the man, getting up.

- "You have ?? thought Sailormoon. I don't remember ever telling you
that !!"

- "You don't remember..." he repeated, turning around.

- "Oh...it can't be... Sailormoon whispered in horror. Malachite!"

- "So you do remember me Princess, said Malachite, smiling. It's been
so long."

- "This can't be, yelled Sailormoon, holding her scepter toward him. I
destroyed you in the cave !!!"

- "I wish, said Malachite, walking toward her. You see, you thought
that I was dead but instead, I was sent to eternal hell by Queen Beryl."

- "Eternal hell..." Sailormoon repeated.

- "After all these years, do you have any idea how long I've been
waiting for this", he said.

- "Stop right there Malachite !! said Sailormoon. I will punish you !!
Moon Scepter elimination !"

The attack went flying toward Malachite but he managed to get out of
the way. "Take this !!" he yelled, sending his spinning and deadly
balls of lightening toward her. Not able to get away, Sailormoon was
hit and fell to her knees, crying in pain.

- "You... you won't win, yelled Sailormoon, trying to get up. I won't
let you !! My friends are counting on me !!"

- "Then why fight if your only concern is your friends safety ?" said
Malachite, walking near her.

- "What do you mean ?" asked Sailormoon.

- "Well, started Malachite, if you want to save your friends, I'll
make a deal with you !"

- "Right, said Sailormoon, standing up. A deal with a creep like you
?!? Forget it !! Ahh !!" she yelled, running toward him.

Blocking her attack, Malachite hit her with all of his strength.
Sailormoon went flying into a tree. Falling to the grown, Malachite
continued with his deal.

- "Listen my dear before making a decision, said Malachite. Here's the
deal : I'll let your friends go from my nightmares if you agree to
give yourself to me."

- "What ??" asked Sailormoon.

- "You heard me ! said Malachite. You see, your friends do not
interest me, only you. If you agree, I promise to set them free."

- "You're lying !!" screamed Sailormoon.

- "If you agree to my terms, meet me here, in reality at midnight
tonight. If you don't show up, you won't ever see your friends again
!!!" he added before vanishing into thin air.

- "Midnight tonight..." Sailormoon repeated, before collapsing on the
grown.

Waking up in Raye's bed, Serena was covered with sweat. Looking around
her, she notice that Raye, Darien and Luna were sleeping on the floor
beside her. Getting up, she opened the door and headed for the kitchen.

- "What am I going to do ?" asked Serena to herself, sitting down on a
chair. "If I don't accept, they will die and if I do, I'll never see
them again."

"I don't have a choice" thought Serena, picking up a piece of paper
and a pen. She started writing a letter to Raye, hopping that she
would understand. After a few minutes, Serena got up and left the
temple, heading for the park. She knew that this was the only way...

Waking up in her room, Raye look in horror at the empty bed beside
her. Waking up Luna and Darien, they got up and started searching the
temple.

- "SERENA !!! yelled Raye, running down the hall. Where is she ??"

- "I can't find her !! yelled Darien, catching up with Raye. Where
could she have gone to ?"

- "Darien !! Raye !!! In here !!" yelled Luna.

Running into the kitchen, Luna pointed out the letter that Serena had
left.

- "She's gone !!" cried Luna.

Raye took the paper and started reading it. "No !!! Why Serena, why ?"
Raye yelled, throwing the paper on the floor.

- "What ?? asked nervously Darien. Where is she ?"

- "Come on !! yelled Raye, running out the door. I'll explain on the
way."

They all ran out of the temple and headed toward the park of their
dreams. "I have to stop her" thought Raye, drying off her tears. "I
can't bare to loose her too." Still running to the park, Raye told
Darien what was in the letter.


Dear Raye,

I'm sorry that I couldn't tell you in person where I'm going
but I know that you wouldn't understand. I had another dream
while you were talking with Luna and Darien. I know who is
behind this : Malachite. He offered me a deal that I can not
refuse to save are friends. I'm going to meet him 
tonight, at the park. 

Please understand, I can't handle this pain anymore.
Most of all, I couldn't live with myself if they died, knowing
that I could have help them and decided not to. 
Forgive me, but this is something that I must do. Please
tell Darien that I love him with all my heart. No matter what,
you guys will always be with me.

Chapter 5 : The Palace of Darkness


Arriving at the park, Serena walked were she saw in her dreams Malachite
and 
the great light. She was in her princess dress and her crescent moon
shined on 
her fore head. Looking around, she couldn't see anyone in the park.

- "I guess it's very late to be out on a night like this," thought
Serena.

- "You are right on time Princess," said Malachite, sitting on a bench.

- "I want my friends set free first before I go anywhere with you !!"
yelled 
Serena at him.

- "Very well, said Malachite, closing his eyes. It's done !"

- "How can I be sure that this isn't one of your tricks ?" asked Serena.

- "Look..." whispered Malachite, pointing behind her.

As she turned around, she saw through some kind of bubble her friends 
waking up. They were all well and no one had suffered injuries. Happy
that 
her friends were okay, tears fell on her cheeks as she thought about the
price 
it had cost to free them. Turning around toward Malachite, Serena
accepted 
her fate with no regrets. It was worth giving up her life to save her
friends.

- "It is time Princess", said Malachite, as he grabbed Serena's wrist.

- "Hold it right there !!!" yelled someone.

Looking behind them, they saw Sailormars, Tuxedo mask and Luna ready
to attack. Laughing out loud, Malachite turned around and opened a
portal back to his time and place.

- "I'm sorry..." Serena cried out to them.

- "You are too late Mars !!! yelled Malachite, pushing Serena toward
the portal. You may have your friends back but you will never see your
dear princess again. 

- "That's what you think !!" yelled Mars. 

"Mars Celestrial Fire Surround"

The attack went right toward Malachite but stopped as a shield appeared, 
surrounding him and the Princess.

- "My attack !!" yelled Mars helplessly.

- "Fairwell !!!" yelled Malachite, entering the portal. "Don't worry
Prince Darien, 
he added, I'll take very good care of your princess."

- "SERENA !!!" Darien yelled, running toward the closing portal.
"NOOOOOOOOO........."

- "Serena... cried Mars, falling on her knees. What have you done..."

Suddenly, Mars's communicator went off. Taking it out of her pocket, she 
answered the call.

- "Mars !!!" shouted Amy. We just woke up !! Everyone is doing great!!!"

- "That's good", said Mars, drying out her tears.

- "Mars, what's wrong ? asked Amy. What's happened ?"

- "I'll meet you guys at the hospital in 15 minutes, said Mars. I'll
explain 
everything.

Closing her communicator, Mars looked at Tuxedo mask, crying were the 
portal was, the lost of his love.

Walking out of the portal, Malachite held Serena's arm and took her with
him. 
Looking around, Serena saw only darkness. There was very few lights 
following the path they were on and no one was here except for her and 
Malachite. Suddenly, Serena sense an old presence near by. Something that 
she had not sense in years. Opening the doors in front of them, Malachite 
pushed Serena inside. 

- "Welcome to my Palace of Darkness Princess Serena, said a female voice.
I 
was expecting you."

- "Noooo... screamed Serena, looking at the woman. This can't be !! Queen 
Beryl !!"

- "Yes !!! Beryl said, getting up from the thrown. You thought that you
had 
destroyed me but you were foolish to believe that !! Instead, I was sent
to this 
dark place in punishment because I've failed. But this time, it will be
different !!"

- "Noooo..." repeated Serena, trying to walk back but Malachite was still 
holding her.

- "Now my dear, said the Queen, back to business. Give me the imperial
silver 
crystal !!!"

- "I... I can't, said Serena, looking right in the eyes of the Queen. I
didn't bring 
it."

- "What !?! yelled Malachite. Where is it ?"

- "I left it somewhere safe, said Serena. In your deal, you asked for me,
not 
the silver crystal."

- "You will pay for this !!" yelled Malachite, slapping Serena in her
face.

- "You don't have the crystal ?" asked the Queen.

- "No !! yelled Serena, holding her tears from the pain. And you will
never find 
it !!"

- "This can't be !!" said Malachite.

- "You have failed me for the last time Malachite !!" yelled Beryl,
holding her 
staff with her crystal ball.

- "My Queen please, started Malachite. I will go back and get the silver
crystal 
for you ! Please, give me another..."

- "NO !!! yelled Beryl, furious. Now, prepare yourself to be with your
lost love 
Zoïsite, Malachite !!"

- "Nooooo.... screamed Malachite. Please, I..."

- "Enough !!" yelled Beryl, throwing a powerful energy blast at him.

- "Noooooooo..." he screamed as he vanished into the air.

- "Now that that's done, where is the crystal ??" repeated the Queen.

- "I will never tell you !!!" yelled Serena right back at her. "Never!!!"

- "Have it your way Princess, said the Queen. I have ways to make you
talk. 
Guards !!!"

- "Yes my Queen", said the two guards, running in the thrown room.

- "Take the Princess to her cell, ordered Beryl. Also, prepare the mind
device as well."

- "Yes Queen Beryl, said the guards. Right away."

- "Mind device ?" Serena repeated, scared.

- "Yes, said the Queen. Believe me, you will talk after that !! Take her
away !!"

The guards attached Serena wrists in her back, making her that she will
not escape. Taking her away, the guards closed the door of the room,
leaving the Queen by herself.

- "Soon, it will be mine as it was meant to be !" whispered the Queen as
she looked through the window of her palace.

Back at the hospital, Raye started telling everyone what as happened
since their comas : the dreams, Serena's trying to kill herself,
Malachite... Everyone was listening in horror as Raye was explaining what
had happen. After Raye's story, they all stood in silence, looking at
Darien who was staring out the window of the room.

- "We will get her back !!" said Lita.

- "Yes !! said Amy. We just have to figure out were Malachite took her
and than..."

- "We won't see her again", said Darien, crying in silence.

- "Yes we will !!" said Raye.

- "We won't find her !! yelled Darien, turning toward them. I can't even
sense her presence !! We've lost her and it's all my fault. If I would
have listen... If I would have been there..."

- "You can't blame yourself, said Mina. Serena made a choice and I don't
think that no one could have stopped her."

- "She saved us..." whispered Lita, looking away.

- "She did, said Mina, and now it's are turn to free her !!"

- "Mina's right !" said Raye.

- "Maybe if we go back to the park, I could try to trace where the portal
was heading and try to find a way to get us there", said Amy, getting up
from her bed.

- "Good idea !! said Lita. Let's go !!"

Running out of the room, Raye stopped at the door, looking at Darien,
sitting on a bed. Walking near him, she could understand what he was
feeling. Serena was her best friend.

- "Come on Darien, said Raye. If there's any chance of getting Serena
back, we are gonna need your help."

Nodding his head, he got up and followed Raye out of the room. With his
hands in his pockets, he was holding on to the one thing that he had left
of her. He just had to find her, but how ?

Hours had past and Serena was still in her cell. She didn't know what
would happen but just hearing Beryl talk about some mind device made her
nervous. This cell was very small, not even a bed could fit in this room.
Her chains were hurting her wrists as she tried to get them off. "This is
hopeless !" thought Serena. A few minutes later, the door opened and two
guards took her out of the cell.

- "Where are you taking me !!" yelled Serena, trying to break free from
the chains.

- "You'll see !" said the guards.

Walking down a dark path, they finally arrived in a huge room, with
strange tubes filled with water. "That's weird, thought Serena, it looks
like something out of my chemistry class." At the end of the room, Serena
saw Queen Beryl, preparing one of the giants tubes. 

- "It's time my dear, said the Queen. Bring her to me!"

- "No !! yelled Serena, trying to fight off the guards. What are you
going to do to me ?"

- "Simple, started the Queen. These tubes can reach into your darkest
dreams and your worst fears, bring them to life in your mind."

- "My darkest dreams and fears ?" repeated Serena as the guards took off 
her dress and shoes.

Standing naked in the room, Serena started shivering, covering her body
with her hands. One of the guards opened a tube while the other one held
Serena tightly.

- "Noooooo..." yelled Serena as the guards pushed her into the tube. 

- "Don't worry Princess, said the Queen, you will be able to breathe in
the tube even though you won't be able to talk because of the water.

Hitting the glass of the tube, Serena cried helplessly, trying to break
free. Closing the tube, the guards stepped back and watched as the Queen
was preparing the device.

- "Now Princess, said the Queen, where is the crystal?"

Serena shook her head, not wanting to give up so easily. "I will never
tell her" thought Serena.

- "Very well, said the Queen, turning on the machine. I'm sure I can make 
you change your mind."

Suddenly, images ran through Serena's head. She saw her friends die,
one at the time, Darien, held by chains, being tortured, her parents
suffering, the moon kingdom being destroyed.... Pain filled her heart as
she was struggling to get out. 

- "Tell me where is the crystal and I shall set you free from this pain
!!" said the Queen.

- "Nooooo...." Serena screamed, but only bubbles came out of her mouth.

- "Very well, said the Queen. Increase the intensity!!" she yelled to a
guard.

- "Yes my Queen", he said, turning up the button.

She couldn't stand it no more. Her friends... family... her love...
tortured, dying, crying out to her... "Nooooo..." she yelled before
passing out. 

- "You may be unconscious Princess, said the Queen, but that will not
stop the mind device from reaching into your sleeping state. You will
never be free !!!! NEVER!!!!!!"

"I can't give up, thought Serena in her sleep. The future of the universe
is counting on me...."

Chapter 6 : The Dream maze


Arriving at the park, the girls and Darien, already transformed,
stepped in.  Looking around, they couldn't see anything out of the
ordinary. The trees, the air, the people.... everything was normal.
Getting out her computer, Mercury started scanning the area.

- "I can't see anything wrong here, said Venus. Except that there is
not many people here."

- "It's quiet today," said Jupiter, looking around.

- "Mercury, said Mars, anything yet ?"

- "Not yet," said Mercury.

- "Great !" said Mars, looking at Tuxedo mask.

- "Wait a minute..." started Mercury.

- "What is it ?" asked Tuxedo mask.

- " I think I found something, said Mercury. It looks like that the
portal that Serena went in has left traces of it."

- "Is that good ?" asked Venus, not following Mercury.

- "If I can figure out the path of the portal, We might be able to
open it again, "said Mercury.

- "Can you do it ?" asked Mars.

- "I think so, said Mercury, but it's gonna take some time."

- "Do it, said Mars, but hurry. Time is running out."


             ************************

- "Where am I...."

Waking up, Serena felt terrible pain coming from her head. Looking
around, she notice that she was no longer in the mind tube. She was
in a cold cell, with nothing in it except a white blanket. Pulling
the blanket toward her, she covered her naked body, trying to keep
herself warm. Looking in front of her, she saw a door with a small
window. Trying to get up, she fell right back on the floor.

- "What's wrong with me ? asked Serena to herself. What happen to
me..."

Then, she started to remember... the mind tube... the images....
people dying...

- "No... she cried in pain. Enough !!"

Trying again to get up, she managed to walk by the door with the help
of the dirty walls. Looking through the window, she saw two guards at
the end of the hall. Looking the other site, she could see a long
hall.

- "I have to get out of her, said Serena, sitting back down on the
cold floor, but how ?"

Feeling her crescent moon on her fore head, she closed her eyes. She
knew that the crystal was safe.


             *************************


- "I've got it !!" said Mercury. "I have the path !!"

- "Great !! said Venus, jumping up and down. But, what do we do now
?"

- "We have to create enough energy to open the portal but I'm not
sure if we have the energy that it needs," said Mercury, looking at
the scouts.

- "We have to try, said Tuxedo mask. For Serena..."

- "Tuxedo mask is right !! said Mars. Let's do it !"

Forming a circle where the portal was, they all closed their eyes,
hoping that it would work. Luna and Artemis jumped on the girls
shoulders.

- "Ready ?" asked Jupiter.

- "Ready, said Mercury. Now !"

"Mars Star Power"
"Mercury Star Power"
"Jupiter Star Power"
"Venus Star Power"

"I'm coming Serena... thought Tuxedo Mask. Please, hang on..." Their
powers and strength combined together, created a huge light over
them. 

- "We are almost there, yelled Mercury, just a little bit more !!"

Suddenly, the light came right toward them and they all vanished into
the air. Opening their eyes, the saw that they were floating in a big
windy tunnel. 

- "Hang on !! yelled Mars, noticing that her hand was slipping from
Mercury, we have to stay together !"

- "It's hard to breathe in here !!" yelled Venus.

- "Hang on !! yelled Mercury, it's almost over."

- "Look, yelled Luna, up ahead !!"

A white light was at the end of the tunnel. Going in the light, the
pressure was so strong that no one was holding each other's hand
anymore. Suddenly, darkness came over the light as they hit the cold
floor in front of them.

- "Mmmm... whispered Mercury, trying to get up. Where are we ?"

- "She's here.... whispered Tuxedo mask, getting up. Serena is here,
I
can feel her but..."

- "What ?" asked Jupiter.

- " So much pain... managed to say Tuxedo mask, holding his head.
She's in pain.... what have they done to her ?"

- "I can feel it too... said Mars, opening her eyes. We have to find
her now !"

- "Let's go this way, said Mercury. There is a door at the end of the
hall."

Walking down the hall, only darkness surrounded them. They couldn't
even see in front of them. Suddenly, a noise was heard.

- "What was that ?" said Artemis.

- "The floor !! Guys !! Look out !!" yelled Mars.

But is was too late. Falling through the trap door, they were sliding
down a long path. Suddenly, they  came to the end of the path and
they fell on the grown.

- "Is everyone okay ?" asked Mars, looking around.

Right in front of them was a path surrounded by dead trees. They
couldn't see much pass that and there was no exits to be seen.

- "Yes, said Mercury, answering to Mars. What is this place ? It
looks
like a maze."

- "I don't see any other exits", said Luna, wondering around.

- "Then we have to go through that ?" asked Venus.

- "Luna is right, said Mercury,scanning the area. The only way out is
through that maze."

- "Let's go !!" said Mars. 

Walking in the maze, the door behind closed. The walls were covered
with dead trees, making it impossible to go through them. Walking
away from the door, the scouts had no idea what would await them....


             *********************


Back in the thrown room, Queen Beryl was standing near her window,
looking at the dark palace. A few minutes later, the main door opened
and two guards came in.

- "We are sorry to disturb you my Queen but we have important news,
started one of the guards. The Scouts my Queen, the Scouts..."

- "Are here, finished the Beryl, yes, I know !"

- "What do you want us to do my Queen ?" asked the guard.

- "Hmmmm.... Prepare the Princess for another session, said Beryl.
I'll take care of the scouts personnaly."

- "As you wish my Queen", said the guards, leaving the room.

- "They think that they came defeat me without their leader ? laughed
the Queen. We shall see..."


            *************************

- "This is gonna take for ever !!" said Jupiter.

- "Mercury, started Mars, can you use your computer to get us out of
here ?"

- "I'm sorry, she said, my computer isn't working in this maze. We
will have to guess."

- "This way then," said Venus, walking down the path.

- "Be careful Scouts...." said Luna.

Suddenly, a image started to formed over their heard and a laugh was
heard.

- "That laugh... whispered Tuxedo Mask. I know that  laugh..."

The image wasn't complete and it was hard to make anything out of it.
But then, after a few moments, the picture was clear... very
clear....

- "Queen Beryl !!" yelled the Scouts, terrified.

- "Yes... started the Queen. You thought that I was dead, you thought
that you had defeated me... Think again Scouts !! How do you like my
dream maze ?"

- "Dream maze ?" repeated Luna.

- "This maze is my very own creation, continued Beryl. If you think
that Malachite's dreams were bad, wait until you see mine."

- "You won't win Beryl !!" yelled Mars, getting into position to
fight. "We are much stronger than the last time that we've met !"

- "So am I... said the Queen, laughing. 

- "What have you done with Serena !!!" yelled Tuxedo Mask.

- "Oh... Not much, said Beryl, just playing with her mind !! But you
will understand soon enough." On that, she vanished into the air.

- "What did she mean by that ?" asked Jupiter

Suddenly, a human form appeared in front of Venus. Looking at it, she
knew who it was.

- "Mina..." said the man, turning around.

- "Mark ? said Venus, is that you ?"

- "Mina... how could you leave me like this ? Why did you leave me to
die ?"

- "This isn't real," cried Mina, closing her eyes and shaking her
head.

- "Who is that ?" asked Mars.

- "He was a guy that I went out with... a long time ago. He had a car
accident and he died in the hospital from a coma. I always thought
that it was fault because I wasn't with him that day. I was mad at
him and I didn't want to see him."

- "You weren't there for me, said the image. It's all your fault. I
wouldn't have died if you would have been there with me.... It's all
your fault !!"

- "Nooooooooo......" yelled Venus, falling to her knees.

- "Venus, listen to me, said Mercury. That is only an image, he's not
really there. You have to over come it !"

- "I can't !!!" cried Venus.

- "Think about why we are here and not him Venus, started Mars. We
have to find Serena but something bad happens to her."

- "But... how ?" asked Venus.

- "Let's try walking through it, said Mercury. It's just an image."

- "You killed me...." continued the voice.

- "Noooooo !!!" cried out Venus.

- "Raye...." said a voice.

- "What the ...?" started Mars as she saw another image formed in
front of her. "Chad ??"

- "Why are you doing this to me ? said Chad. Hurting me like this. I
love you Raye but you don't care do you ?"

- "That's not true, started Mars, this isn't real."

- "And my feelings aren't real either, right Raye, said the image.
You
always pushed me away."

- "Stop it !! yelled Mars, holding her head. You aren't Chad and this
isn't real."

- "Guys !! This isn't real, started Luna. You are feeding the images
with your pain. Let it go !!"

Suddenly, the images vanished, leaving them alone in the maze once
more. Jupiter and Mercury helped Mars and Venus to get up and they
continued their journey.

- "Are you sure you are okay Mars ?" asked Luna.

- "I'm fine..." said Mars, trying out her tears so the others

- "We have to find the exit soon", said Mercury, holding Venus in her
arms.

- "I agree, said Mars. Let's go !!"

Everyone started running down the path, trying to find the exit.
Suddenly, Mars stopped.

- "Mars ? What is it ?" asked Jupiter.

- "Serena.... whispered Mars. We have to hurry !!!"

She could sense Serena's pain once more but this time it was much
stronger. Mars knew that she was in trouble and that time was running
out....


             *********************

- "Nooooooooooo......" yelled Serena, struggling to break free from
the guards.

- "You have a choice Princess, you know that," said Beryl, standing
right in front of the mind tube.

- "I will never tell you where the crystal is !! yelled Serena. NEVER
!!"

- "Very well, said Beryl, walking away. Put her in the tube !"

- "Nooooooo !!!" Serena yelled but it was too late.

Falling in the cold water, the images return but this time, they were
alot more painful. Trying to scream, Serena couldn't stand this
anymore. This was too much for her. Still, she knew that she couldn't
tell Beryl where the crystal was. She just couldn't.... Closing her
eyes, she fell a sleep, knowing that the nightmares were waiting for
her....

Chapter 7 : The Lady of Dreams



Trying to get out of the maze, the Scouts kept ending up in a dead
end. They didn't know how much time had past but the knew that they
had to hurry, especially Mars. She could sense that her friend was
near and in terrible pain. She also knew that Serena couldn't last
much longer.

- "We have to get out of here, yelled Mars, running down another
path. Serena won't be able to take the pain much longer."

- "Serena...." whispered Tuxedo Mask, running as fast as he could.

- "Something is interfering with my computer, said Mercury. I can't
get a fix on the exit."

- "Keep trying, said Jupiter. We have to get out of here."

- "Amy...."

- "Who's there ?" yelled Mercury, looking around her.

- "Why didn't you go off to school in Germany like you wanted too
Amy,said the voice. Everyone is so disappointed in you..."

- "Da... Daddy ? Is that you ?" asked Mercury, now seeing her father
right in front of her.

- "You were accepted and you decided to stay here because of your
friends, said the man. Real friends would have been happy for you...
not like these ones... You let everybody down Amy..."

- "No, that's not true !!" cried out Mercury.

- "Mercury, yelled Mars, it's not real !! Don't listen to him."

- "Lita.... why did you treated me so badly that I had to break up
with you", said another voice.

- "No !! not me !! yelled Jupiter. You're not real !! You aren't him
!!"

- "But I am your old boy friend, said the man. You never wanted to do
what I wanted to and you weren't there when I needed you... I loved
you... but you pushed me away."

- "Go away, yelled Jupiter, hiding her tears. You're not real !!"

Suddenly, all of the images came back, bring with them the terrible
memories long forgotten by the Scouts. Surrounded by them, they
couldn't get out, even if they knew that they weren't real. The pain
of remembering was too much for them.

- "We have to get pass them, yelled Luna. They aren't real !!"

But they couldn't here Luna. They just couldn't. Suddenly, at the
point of collapsing, Mercury notice something on the ceiling.

- "There... tried to say Mercury, pointing with her finger. It's
there..."

Looking up, Tuxedo Mask could see some kind of device that was
projecting the images. Luna could see the same thing.

- "We have to destroy it !" yelled Luna.

- "I'll take care of it", said Tuxedo Mask.

Taking out some roses, he threw them right at the device. "Get down
everyone !" yelled Tuxedo Mask, covering Luna and Artemis. The roses
hit the device and destroyed it. Flames and sparks came out of the
device as the images started disappearing into the air.

- "Is everyone okay ?" asked Tuxedo Mask, getting up.

- "Yeah... said Jupiter, helping Mars up. Let's get out of here !!"

- "I agree with that ! yelled Venus. Enough for one day !!"

- "Guys !!! yelled Mercury. I found the exit !! That device must have
been interfering with my computer."

- "What are we waiting for !! yelled Mars. Let's go !"

Following Mercury down the path, they knew that they still had to
hurry. "Hang on Serena, whispered Mars, we're coming..."


              ************************** 


Back in the thrown room, Queen Beryl watched as the Princess was
struggling to get out of the mind tube. "She won't be able to last
much longer", thought the Queen, walking closer to the tube.

- "Princess, started the Queen. Tell me where the crystal is and I
will stop the pain that you are feeling."

- "The crystal..." started Serena, holding her head in her hands. 

"I can't tell her, thought Serena. But the pain... I can't... This is
too much for me... Where are the Scouts ? Why aren't they here..."

- "Yes ?" said the Beryl, waiting for an answer.

- "No... I can't..." cried Serena.

- "Tell me or the pain will never end !!" yelled the Queen.

- "The crystal... is... Darien..." Serena managed to say.

- "Prince Darien has the crystal ? repeated Beryl. Excellent !!"

- "Please... stop this..." cried Serena.

- "You really think that I would have stopped it ? laugh Beryl. You
will pay for what you have done. Eternity in the tube sounds nice."

- "Noooooooo........." cried Serena, watching Beryl walking away.

Suddenly, the door of the room opened and a guard stepped in. Out of
breath, he walked toward the Queen and bowed before her.

- "What is it ?" yelled the Queen, in her usual cruel voice.

- "The Scouts my Queen, started the guard. They have found the exit
and they are coming this way."

- "What ??? yelled Beryl. They have escaped the maze?"

- "Yes my Queen, said the guard. We tried to stop them but..."

- "Enough !! yelled Beryl. Leave us. I will take care of the
personally."

- "Yes my Queen", said the guard as he left the room, closing the
doors behind him.

- "So, they think that they can defeat me ? said Beryl laughing. Did
you hear that Princess ? Your friends are here. Now you will be able
to see their deaths for real !!"

- "They will... defeat you... Beryl !" said Serena.

- "We shall see Princess, said the Queen. We shall see..."


              ***************************


Walking quietly down the hall, the Scouts were following Mercury who
had pick up Serena's location. They couldn't see much, it was so
dark. They could only hear strange noises coming from up ahead.

- "Where are we ?" asked Venus.

- "I think that that Serena is in the room just ahead", said Mercury.

- "And we will probably find Beryl too !!" added Artemis.

Closing in on the door, the Scouts turned toward each other.

- "You guys ready for this ?" asked Jupiter.

- "READY !!!" they yelled together.

- "Okay, said Tuxedo Mask, let's get her back and defeat Beryl once
and for good !!"

Opening the door, they couldn't see much at first. There was a long
carpet on the floor, heading for the thrown and candles were lighted
all around the room. Suddenly, they saw Serena trapped in a tube,
trying to get out.

- "Serena !!!" yelled Tuxedo Mask, running toward her.

- "Oh Darien....." cried Serena.

- "Tuxedo Mask wait !!" yelled Mercury.

- "We meet again..." said a voice.

- "Show yourself Beryl !!" yelled Tuxedo Mask.

- "I'm right here, said Beryl, appearing in front of her thrown. Glad
you could make it !"

- "Let her go !!" yelled Venus.

- "I will let you go if you give me the crystal", said the Queen,
walking down the stairs.

- "We don't have it !! yelled Mars. We already told you that !!"

- "I know that one of you has it, said the Queen, looking at Tuxedo
Mask. Princess Serena told me where it was."

- "You won't have it !!" yelled Tuxedo Mask.

- "You have the crystal ? asked Mars. Why didn't you tell us ?"

- "Serena left me a note telling me to protect it without telling you
about it, said Tuxedo Mask, taking out the crystal in his pocket. I
guess she wanted you to be convincing if you were confronted with
that question."

- "Poor Serena, started the Queen, looking at her. So much pain... So
little time left to live..."

- "Let her go !!" yelled the Scouts.

- "The crystal, said Beryl. I want the crystal !!"

- "We can't give her the crystal, whispered Mercury to Mars. Serena
wouldn't want that."

- "That means that we have only one choice !!" yelled Mars.

- "And what's that ?" asked the Queen.

"Mars Celestrial Fire Surround"
"Venus Love Chain Encircle"

The attacks went flying toward Beryl who just stood there like she
was waiting to be hit. Suddenly, the attacks bounce right off her,
not hurting her at all.

- "What the ?" said Mars, surprise.

- "She has a shield around her !!" yelled Mercury.

- "That's right, said Beryl, laughing. My powers have grown. Let me
show you !!" she added, launching a blast of energy right at them.

- "Mars look out !!" yelled Venus, pushing her out of the way.

- "Venus !!!!!!" yelled Mars, watching her friend fly right in the
wall. "You are gonna pay for that !!"

- "Tuxedo Mask, whispered Mercury. Get Serena out of there and we
will keep Beryl busy as long as we can."

- "Right", said Tuxedo Mask, running toward Serena.

- "No you don't !!" yelled Beryl, throwing another blast.

Jumping out of the way, Tuxedo Mask managed to get pass Beryl.
Preparing her next attack, Beryl was hit with a fire ball. Screaming
in pain, she threw another blast right back at them.

- "That's it !! yelled Mercury. Her shield goes down when she is
attacking. We have to hit her then !"

- "Okay ! said Jupiter, helping Venus up. Let's make her mad !!"

- "That's not too hard", laughed Mars.

"Mars Celestrial Fire Surround"
"Jupiter Thundercrash Zap"

Hitting the shield, the attacks vanished into the air. "You just
don't give up do you ?" said the Queen. "Take this then !"

- "Now !!" yelled Mercury.

"Mercury Ice Storm Blast"
"Mars Celestrial Fire Surround"
"Venus Love Chain Encircle"
"Jupiter Thundercrash Zap"

The attacks combined together hit Beryl really hard. Falling on her
knees, she struggle to get up.

- "Mercury !! yelled Tuxedo Mask. Come quickly !!"

- "What is it ?" yelled Mercury, running toward him.

- "I can't wake her up !" yelled Tuxedo Mask, covering Serena's naked
body with his black cape.

Looking at Serena, Darien couldn't believe his eyes. She was so pale
and shivering from the icy water that she was in. He had never saw
her like this. Only her crescent moon was shining on her fore head. 

- "She's very weak... whispered Mercury, checking her vital signs.
She is alive but..."

- "But what ?" asked Tuxedo Mask, holding her as tight as he could.

- "I don't know what that machine did to her, started Mercury. If
it's anything like we have experienced..."

- "We have to get her out of here !!" yelled Tuxedo Mask.

- "I agree, said Mercury. Beryl can wait."

Running back to the others, Mercury explain the situation to them.

- "Let's get out of here then, said Jupiter. This fight can wait."

- "Right, said Mars. How do we get out of here 
Mercury ?"

- "You... aren't going anywhere, yelled Beryl, getting up. I will
destroy you !!"

- "No you won't Beryl", said a voice.

Suddenly, a dark cloud formed over Beryl. Mercury couldn't tell what
it was with her visor. The energy coming from the cloud was too
strong.

- "You have failed me Beryl, said the voice. I gave you a second
chance and you failed me. Again !!"

- "This is not over, said Beryl. I can defeat them !!"

- "You lost your chance Beryl, said the voice. Now, I'm taking things
in my own hands."

- "Nooooooo....... yelled Beryl as the cloud sent a powerful blast
toward her. I had them......" she yelled before vanishing into the
air.

Watching from behind, the Scouts couldn't believe what they were
seeing. Then, the cloud moved away from Beryl and closer to the
Scouts.

- "Hold it right there !!" yelled Mars, getting into position.

- "This is not the time or the place to fight, said the voice. I will
choose where and when we shall fight."

- "You are you ?" asked Luna.

- "I am the Lady of dreams", said the voice. That's all you need to
know. Now, I will take you to my world."

- "No you won't !!" yelled Venus, preparing her attack.

- "Mist of the night, said the Lady, take them... Take them to my
world... I summon you !!"

Suddenly, a white mist surrounded them, making it almost impossible
to breathe. A strong wind encircle them as they tried to move away.
Then, the Scouts saw their bodies vanished and they screamed in
horror. 

The Lady laughed as she saw them disappear. 
       "Welcome to my Dreamland..."

Chapter 8 : The true nightmare


After a few moments, the Scouts found themselves at the entrance of a
cave. It was very cold and so dark that the Scouts could bearly see
around them. 

- "Welcome to my Dreamland", said the same voice that they heard
earlier.

- "Why did you bring us here ?" asked Mars, looking around her.

- "I brought you here because I want the silver crystal, said the Lady
of Dreams. Beryl failed to bring it to me so I have to do it myself."

- "You... you wont have it..." whispered Serena, waking up.

- "This is your only choice, said the Lady. Give me the crystal and
you can go home. Refuse and be trapped here for ever."

- "We wont give you the crystal !!" yelled Tuxedo Mask, helping Serena
to stand up.

- "Then you will die here", said the Lady as she vanished into the
darkness.

- "What now ?" asked Jupiter to the others.

- "Well, I think that we should go into the cave, started Mercury. I'm
detecting something on the other site with my visor. Maybe, once
inside, I could pinpoint a way to get out of here."

- "It's worth a try, said Venus, turning her head toward Serena and
Tuxedo Mask. Serena ? How are you feeling ?"

- "My head... the images.... they wont go away..." she cried out to
Venus.

- "You have to try and think about something else", said Mars, holding
Serena in her arms.

- "I can't... she cried on Mars's shoulder. It's so... painful."

- "Don't worry Serena, said Mars, holding her tears. We will find the
exit and all of the images will go away."

- "Here Serena, said Tuxedo Mask, holding out the crystal. I think
this is yours."

- "Thank you..." Serena said, taking the crystal in her hands.

Suddenly, the crystal started to glow and a bright white light
surrounded her naked body. The glow grew stronger as Serena raise the
crystal in the air.

"Moon Crystal Power"

Transforming into Sailormoon, she felt that the images where fading
away. She could still feel the pain from them but it was alot less
intense. Completing her transformation, she fell on her knees, holding
her head.

- "Serena !!!" yelled Tuxedo Mask, running towards her.

- "I'm okay, said Sailormoon, getting up. I guess I'm still a little
bit weak from what has happen."

- "You better take it easy", said Mars looking at the others.

- "We could rest a few minutes before entering the cave, said Mercury.
It would be good and..."

- "No !!! yelled Sailormoon, opening her eyes. We can't waist any
time. We have to go now !!"

- "Let's go then", said Tuxedo Mask, knowing that she was still
feeling pain from her terrifying visions.

- "Alright then, let's go !" said Mercury.

Entering the cave, they noticed that it grew colder and the wind was
more present. Following the past in the cave, they saw a dark blue
light right in front of them. Climbing out of the cave, they just
stood there, amazed at what they were seeing. In front of them, a huge
but very old castle was there with a long bridge connecting the Scouts
with it. Many pieces of the castle were on the grown and it looked
like no one had lived here in a very long time.

- "Welcome to my home ! said a very small voice. I am the Angel of
dreams."

- "Where are you ?" asked Luna, looking around.

- "Right here silly !" said the small voice.

- "Look ! There !" said Sailormoon, pointing in the air.

- "A fairy !" said Mercury, amazed.

- "Yes, I am a fairy, said the little flying girl. I exist here only
to balance the good and the bad here."

- "Good and bad ?" repeated Sailormoon.

- "Yes Princess of the moon, the good and the bad, said the Fairy.
There is good and bad in everything. Sometimes, one is more powerful
than the other. Like in this place. It wasn't always like this but
ever since the negaverse came here, everything changed over the years."

- "And the Lady of dreams lives here too then ?" asked Mars.

- "She does, said the Fairy. She was sent from the negaverse to live
here and control this area. We were many fairies once... not any more."

- "Can you help us ? said Mercury. We are looking for a way to get out
of here."

- "I can't help you, said the Fairy. I grow weaker every passing year.
But I can show you a way to get out of here."

- "Please, said Sailormoon, will you show us ?"

- "Yes, I will, said the Fairy, but you must listen carefully. You
must cross the bridge and enter the castle. Somewhere, at the lowest
level of the castle, you will find a gateway. The keeper of the gate
will be there and you will have to prove yourselves to him. Once that
is done, he will opened the gate so you could go back into your world."

- "Proving ourselves how ?" asked Venus.

- "I don't have the answer to your question, said the Fairy. You will
find out when you'll be there."

- "Thank you, said Sailormoon, smiling at the Fairy. Let's go everyone
!"

- "Wait !! said the Fairy. There is one more thing that you should
know before entering. The Lady of dreams will not give up so easily
and she may try to stopped you. Remember, in the land of dreams
anything can happen. If you die here, you will fall into a deep
dreamless sleep, never... ever waking up."

- "Why wont you come with us ?" asked Artemis.

- "I am too weak to follow you inside, said the Fairy. The evil is too
strong for me. Good luck ..." she added before flying off into the sky.

- "Watch yourselves", said Mars, walking near the bridge.

- "It's very windy, said Venus, looking down. Uh... guys..."

- "What is it ?" asked Sailormoon, looking down with Venus.

Under the bridge, they could only see emptiness. The caves walls were
just going down and down. They couldn't see what was down there,
clouds of dust was the only thing they could see.

- "We better be careful", said Luna.

- "We will go one at the time to make sure nothing happens", said
Mars. "I'll go first."

- "Be careful Mars", said Sailormoon, holding on to Tuxedo Mask.

- "I will, said Mars. Here we go !"

Crossing the bridge, Mars hold on tight to the ropes as she walked
slowly. A few minutes later, she was on the other side.

- "Good work Mars ! yelled Jupiter. My turn now !"

- "Take it easy Jupiter, yelled Mars. It's very windy."

Walking on the bridge, Jupiter felt that the bridge wasn't very save.
Looking at Jupiter, Mars could feel that something was wrong. All of a
sudden, giants bats came out of no where, heading right for Jupiter.

- "Jupiter !!!! Look out !!!!" yelled Sailormoon.

- "What the ???" yelled Jupiter, covering herself with her arms.

"Mars Celestrial Fire Surround"

The flames went flying right into the bats that was attacking Jupiter.
Suddenly, four other bats appeared. Trying to fight them off, Jupiter
slipped off of the bridge.

- "Jupiter !!! yelled Venus, running toward her on the bridge. Hang on
!!"
- "I'm trying", said Jupiter, holding on the last rope of the bridge. 

- "Take my hand !" yelled Venus, crabbing Jupiter's wrist.

- "Watch out guys !! yelled Sailormoon. They are coming back."

"Mars Celestrial Fire Surround"
"Mercury bubbles freeze"

The two attack hit two of the bats but one had pass on the other side.
Circling the bridge, the bat was heading right for Venus.

- "Venus look out !!" yelled Jupiter, seeing the bat.

- "Ahhhhhh !!!" yelled Venus.

Suddenly, the ropes broke and the two scouts screamed as they fell
into emptiness.

- "Nooooooo ....." Sailormoon yelled as she saw Jupiter and Venus fall
into the hole.

Falling into the cave, their bodies couldn't be seen anymore and
emptiness filled the cave once more. Crying on the edge, Sailormoon
couldn't believe her eyes. It was happening again. She had saw this in
the mind tube. She had saw their deaths but she didn't remember
anything until now.

- "Oh my god, cried Sailormoon, getting up. I let them die. I let them
die again !!!"

- "What are you talking about Sailormoon", asked Luna.

- "I saw them die in the mind tube, started Sailormoon. I could have
prevented this from happening if I hadn't forgotten. I could I forget
a thing like that !!"

- "Sailormoon, said Tuxedo Mask, holding her in his arms, this is not
your fault. You couldn't have known that it would really happen."

- "No, you're wrong, cried Sailormoon, it is my fault. I could have
save them if I had remember. I didn't want to remember anything
because of the pain. Now, I'm feeling the pain all over again. But
this time, it's real. They are dead !!!"

- "Well, well ... said a voice. Missing something ?"
- "This... this is all your fault, Lady of Dreams !! yelled
Sailormoon. I want my friends back. NOW !!"

- "I warned you Princess, said the Lady of Dreams, appearing in front
of them. Now, it's all up to you ! You still have a chance to save
yourself and your remaining friends. You have the choice !"

- "I will never give you the silver crystal !!" yelled Sailormoon,
preparing her attack.

"Moon Scepter Elimination"

The attack flew right through her without hurting her at all.
Surprise, Sailormoon turned toward Mars.

- "You see Sailormoon, said the Lady. This is my place and time, you
can't hurt me in here. I control everything here !!"

- "We will find a way to defeat you !!" yelled Mars.

- "Maybe... or maybe not !! laughed the Lady. Beside, this is not my
fault that they are now in a eternal sleep, it's your fault
Sailormoon."
- "Me ?? cried Sailormoon. No... I didn't know that..."

- "But you did, said the Lady. You knew what would happen and you
didn't do anything to stop it. Now, your friends are in my Dreamland
forever...."

- "Nooooo ......." cried out Sailormoon.

- "Two down, four to go..." added the Lady before disappearing into
the air.

A few minutes later, crossing the bridge, the Scouts looked back at
the cave, remembering their friends. The others had no idea how
Sailormoon was feeling, they couldn't know. She knew... she saw it
happen... and now, her friends are gone and everything is her fault.
How could they understand ? How.....

Chapter 9 : Dream or reality
 
 
        Looking back at the bridge, the Scouts stood there
in silence. Serena was still crying in Tuxedo Mask's
arms, feeling a huge emptiness in her life. Mars and
Mercury stood there as well, grieving in their own
way. A few minutes later, Mars pulled away, asking
Mercury to come with her. Mars stopped near the door
of the castle.
 
- "Listen Mercury, started Mars, we have to get
Serena out of here. I don't know what they actually
did to her but I sense that she won't be able to
hold up for very long. Also, she is the princess and
it's are duty to protect her."
 
- "I agree, said Mercury, holding her tears. But how
can we go on knowing that are friends are dead ? I
know I'm not being rational but I can't help feeling
that a big part of me is gone."
 
- "I know... whispered Mars, looking back at
Sailormoon and Tuxedo Mask. But Serena needs us
right now. We have to be strong for her. Is there
anyway that the keeper that the fairy told us about
could help us to bring them back ?"
 
- "I don't know, thought Mercury. There is a
 possibility."
 
- "Then we should go now, said Mars, opening the
door. We don't have a second to loose."
 
- "Right !! said Mercury. Let's get out of here...
 all together !!"
 
- "Just give me a minute okay ? said Mars. I want to
check on someone", she added, walking toward Sailormoon.
 
She knew that Serena was in terrible pain and this
was too much for her. She doesn't know what happen
to her friend but she knew that she had to be there
for her. Walking up to her, she put her hand on her
shoulder.
 
- "Serena.... Mars started, how are you feeling ?"
 
- "I'm... I'm okay, said Sailormoon, drying her
tears. I'm sorry Mars... for not being strong like
you. But I can't ..."
 
- "It's okay Serena, said Mars, don't worry about
it. We have to move now though, added Mars. We might
still have a chance of getting out of here with
Venus and Jupiter."
 
- "You... you think so ?" asked Sailormoon.

- "Sure, why not ?" said Mars.
 
- "What are we waiting for ? yelled Sailormoon.
Let's go !!"
 
Turning around, they noticed that Mercury wasn't in
front of the door anymore. "She must have gone
inside" said Mars. Opening the door, Sailormoon
yelled her name but there was no answer.
 
- "Where could she be ?" asked Tuxedo Mask, walking
through the door.
 
- "There's too much dust in here !" coughed
Sailormoon.
 
- "It's so empty too !" added Mars, looking around.
 
There was no furniture in the main room, only two
stairways, one going up and the other one going
down.

- "Mercury must have gone this way, said Tuxedo
Mask, pointing at the stairway going down. Remember
what the fairy said : the lowest level of the
castle."

- "Let's go !" said Mars, going down the stairs.
 
- "Mercury ?? yelled Sailormoon. Are you down here?"
 
- "I'm in here you guys !! yelled Mercury. I've
found something."
 
- "What ?" asked Sailormoon, running towards
Mercury.

- "There's a secret door behind this wall, said
Mercury. I couldn't have detected it without my
visor."
 
- "Then this must be the way to the next level, said
Mars. How do we get through the wall ?"
 
- "This piece of the wall is made with energy, said
Mercury, scanning the area. If we concentrate are
powers here, we might burst an opening."

- "Okay, said Sailormoon, at the same time. NOW !!"

"Mercury Star Power"
"Mars Star Power"
"Moon Crystal Power"
 
Suddenly, a small gap began to form on the wall,
making the door visible to them.
 
- "It's working, managed Mercury to say, just a
little bit more."
 
- "We have got it !!" yelled Sailormoon, seeing the
door behind the wall.
 
- "Good work girls ! said Tuxedo Mask. Let's check
it out !"
 
Opening the door, they were amazed at what they saw.
The walls of this part of the castle were all cover
with crystals, shining the place. Walking inside,
they noticed that this area had been taking cared

- "It's so beautiful !" glanced Sailormoon, walking
down on the red carpet.
 
- "Too beautiful, said Mars, closing her eyes.
Someone still lives here, I'm sure of it."
 
- "Guys !!! Look at this !!" yelled Sailormoon.
 
- "What Sailormoon ?" yelled Mercury.
 
Suddenly, the others found themselves standing in
front of a huge door with strange writings on it.
Mercury took out her visor while Mars, Sailormoon
and Tuxedo Mask stood back to have a better view.
 
- "This sure is a big door !" said Sailormoon.
 
- "More like a gate way ! added Mars. Maybe this is
the way home !"
 
- "But, shouldn't there be a keeper somewhere ?"
asked Sailormoon.
 
- "There is no keeper anymore !!!" laughed a
familiar voice.
 
Suddenly, the same mist that they saw earlier was
forming right in front of the gate. But this time,
they could actually see a human figure in the mist.
It was a female with long silver hair all dress in
black. She stood there in front of the Scouts,
laughing.

- "The Lady of Dreams !!" they yelled.

- Did you expect someone else ? asked the Lady.
Maybe your friends," she added, pointing at the
crystals.
 
- "Look, yelled Mars, in the crystals !!"

- "Jupiter !!! Venus !!!" yelled Sailormoon.
 
- "That's right princess, laughed the Lady. They are
incase in the crystals, sleeping and they are mine!!!"
 
- "That's what you think !!" yelled Mars.
 
- "The only way to get them out of there is by
breaking the sleeping spell, said Mercury. And the
only way to do that is by destroying her."
 
- "What are we waiting for ?" yelled Mars.
 
"Mars Celestrial Fire Surround"
"Mercury Bubbles Blasts"
 
The bubbles fill the area with a blue mist while
the fire attack was flying right towards her.
Laughing, the Lady extended her arms forward,
braking off Mars's attack.
 
- "What the ?" yelled Mars
 
- "Did you really think that it would be so easy ?"
asked the Lady.

- "We will see about that !!" yelled Sailormoon.

"Moon Scepter Elimination"

The attack hit the Lady at full blast but she just
stood there, laughing.

- "My attack !!!" yelled Sailormoon.

- "This is not good !!" said Mercury.

- "Now, it's my turn !!" screamed the Lady of Dreams.
"Black Dream Encircle"

Without any warning, the black energy beam hit Tuxedo
Mask, throwing him across the room. Running towards
him, Sailormoon couldn't believe her eyes.

- "Darien !!! yelled Sailormoon, falling on her knees
near him. Darien, please, wake up."

- "I'm sorry... Serena... whispered Tuxedo Mask. I'm
so... tired."

- "Please, Darien, don't talk, cried Sailormoon. I'll
get you out of here and I'll heal you with my crystal.
Everything will be alright."

- "Serena.... I love you..."

- "NOOOOOOO !!!!! yelled Sailormoon, watching Darien
close his eyes. Darien !!!!!!!"

- "You are going to pay !!!" screamed Mars, furious.

"Mars Celestrial Fire Surround"
"Mercury Bubbles Blast"

Nothing, again. They couldn't believe that their
attacks had no effect at all. Turning toward Mercury,
Mars didn't know what to say.

- "What's wrong Sailormoon, asked the Lady, feeling
guilty ? Maybe you need to remember more..."

Suddenly, it was happening again. The images were
returning, the ones about this attack. She knew that
this was going to happen but she couldn't remember.

- "Oh my god.... whispered Sailormoon. It is my
fault."

- "Don't listen to her Sailormoon, yelled Mercury. She
is trying to trick you !!"

- "I knew.... I saw it...."

- "Sailormoon !!!!!!! Look out !!!!"

Seconds before getting hit, Sailormoon was pushed on
the side by Mars. "Mars !!!" Sailormoon yelled,
picking her friend's head up. The blast had mist
Sailormoon but it ran right into Mars's chest.
Suddenly, a second blast hit Mercury, making her fall
near Mars.

- "Nooooooooooo !!!!!"

- "You... you have to get out of here Meatball
head..." whispered Mars, barely breathing.

- "Mars... you can't go !! cried Sailormoon. Oh,
Mercury. Please... don't go..."

- "Get out of here Sailormoon... whispered Mercury.
It's the only way..."

- "I won't leave you !! cried Sailormoon, I won't !"

- "Well, said the Lady, it looks like it's just you
and me princess !"

- "Give me back my friends !!!" yelled Sailormoon,
getting up.

- "Never !!! replied the Lady. But don't worry, you
will be with them soon."

- "The images won't stop me !! yelled Sailormoon,
holding her head. In the name of the moon, I will
punish you !!!!"

Taking her crystal out of the locket, she raised it in
the air and yelled "Moon Crystal Power"

- "Your crystal is no match for me !!" yelled the
Lady. "Death Dream Destroy"

The energy of the silver crystal hit the wave of dark
energy. "The wave is too strong" whispered Sailormoon,
trying to push the energy off. "So tired...." Falling
on her knees, she didn't know how much longer she
could keep it up. 

Suddenly, small lights began to appear around
Sailormoon, moving so fast that she could barely see a
thing. "What is this ??" thought Sailormoon. Then, the
lights went into the crystal's wave and the wave grew
bigger. "The lights are actually helping me" thought
Sailormoon. Getting up again, she called upon all her
powers. "Moon Crystal Power"

- "What's happening ??? yelled the Lady. How can this
be ? No one can defeat me !!!!!! No one !!!!!"

Suddenly, the Lady of Dreams was surrounded by a huge
white light, killing all powers she had left.
"Nooooo..... this is not the end....."

- "I did it..." said Sailormoon before collapsing on
the ground. "She's gone.... everything will be
okay..."

- "Sailormoon....."

- "Who is there ?" asked Sailormoon, laying on the
ground.

- "Up here", said the little voice.

Raising her head, she saw the fairy that she had meet
at the cave. Wow !!! There were hundred fairies
floating around her. It was so beautiful.

- "We thought you might need a hand !" said the fairy,
smiling.

- "My friends..." whispered Sailormoon.

- "Don't worry Sailormoon, said the fairy, we are
taking care of them. Now, you must rest."

- "yes... rest..."


          *******************************

Walking up, Sailormoon found herself laying on a bed.
Looking around her, she notice that the walls were the
same as in the gate room. She must still be inside the
castle. Getting up, Sailormoon felt right back on the
bed holding her head. "The pain..."

- "How are you feeling Sailormoon ?" asked Tuxedo
Mask, walking in the room.

- "You are alive !!!!!" yelled Sailormoon, holding
Darien in her arms.

- "Nice work Meatball head !!" said Mars, walking in
with the others.

- "Mars !! Mercury !! Venus !! Jupiter !! You are all
alive !!!" cried Sailormoon, so happy.

- "Thanks to you Sailormoon !" said Jupiter.

- "No, thanks to the fairies, said Sailormoon. They
are the one who helped me."

Getting up from the bed with a little help from Tuxedo
Mask, they all walked toward the gate room where
hundred of fairies were waiting.

- "Wow !! said Sailormoon, there's so many fairies
here."

- "Thanks you Sailormoon, said the fairy by the gate.
We are now free from the Lady of Dreams. We were
scared to help you at first but, when we saw all the
courage that you have, we just had to help you."

- "Thank you", said Sailormoon.

- "In reward of your actions, said the fairy, we will
now send you back to your home. But, before we do
that, there is one more thing that I must do."

Flying toward Sailormoon, the fairy put her hand on
Sailormoon's forehead and closed her eyes. Sailormoon
felt all the negatives images flow away from her
thoughts. She was now free...

- "I can't feel them anymore..." whispered Sailormoon.

- "I have removed all the images from your mind, said
the fairy. No one should have to suffer like you did.
Now, you must go !"

Opening the gate, the fairies stood back as they waved
goodbye to their new friends. Entering the gate, the
Scouts were now heading home.... finally.

- "Where am  I ?" asked Serena, waking up.

- "It's okay honey, said a familiar voice. You and
your friends will be okay."

- "Mother ?" asked Serena.

- "It's me my darling, said her mother. The doctors
don't know what happen to make you fall into a coma
but everything seems fine now. I'm so happy !! Let me
get your friends in here, they are going to be trilled!"

Leaving the room, Serena turned over and look outside
through the window. "Wow... she thought, was this all
a big dream or was it real ?" She didn't care anymore,
she was too happy that everything turned out okay.
Walking in the room, her friends came in one by one.

- "So, Serena, said Raye. Had any strange dreams
lately?"

- "What ??" said Serena.

They all started laughing and Serena was happy that
she couldn't feel or see any images from her
experiences. Her mother just stood there, not
understanding why everyone was laughing. "The fairy
was right,thought Serena, no one should have to go
through this, no one......"
